So the Arc Revo cup brackets are up: http://arc-revo-cup.jp/tournament/ Goro will be fighting a Nu first round. The winner of that faces either a Ragna or a Tao. The only thing we can do now is wish him the best of luck. Japan is really good at STSFN so I hope he has some of that because single elimination means the Nike effect is always in play. -

Let's not turn this into a waifu war, alright? I'm fairly certain you've played other characters too. I made a conscious decision to get back into EX with Makoto, the same character that got me playing BB in the first place back in CS1. I could have sped up the reintegration process with Hakumen but I didn't. It's... uhh... difficult to say the least. That's what I get for ragequitting BB 9-10 months ago. :/ -

I feel you man. I don't find her as boring as you do though. Overdrive is going to give me some nostalgia for roughly 10 seconds at a time. Oh and Unlimited Makoto for some makeshift OD combo practice lol. That being said, I'm already on the Azrael hype train. #jacketkicks -

You could do it. Regular OD has invincible startup according to the wiki so as long as they aren't mashing low, you could parry that shit and make them pay. Granted, if they see it coming, you'll just eat a counter-hit combo afterwards as well as lose your OD so there's a trade-off. -

The closest thing she has to a "slamming the ground" animation is her Crush Trigger and she doesn't touch the ground at all. She does the cartoon windup motion with her arm before dropping a wicked overhead elbow on the opponent (not an overhead btw). The "Squirrel's Elbow" if you will. Can you smell what Makoto's cooking? -

Even if he's not trolling, I can see where people would have trouble with the question, "who is worse than Makoto?" Yeah, she's significantly better than her EX counterpart but when you get right down to it, she's still booty-butt checks compared to everyone else. At least Izayoi looks like she has some considerable options and Amane has those drills. In any case, I'm glad that she's still considered the worst character in the game for the second version in a row while gaining a considerable amount of options from the previous version. I guarantee you, someone's going to bitch about this character and then you can say: "She's the worst character in the game though. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" -

I posted this in the OST thread already but here's the order of characters you fight for Course S. Tao Bullet Tager Tsubaki Bang Carl Relius Azrael Amane Litchi Arakune Makoto Noel Mu Nu Rachel Platinum Valk Hazama Hakumen Izayoi Jin Ragna The entire run was basically abuse of the AI's tendencies. Running towards them and attacking or meaty 5B on their wake-up to get a counter-hit. Inferno Divider on their wake-up when the AI is low on health. Burst if they touch you period. The only time the player got close to losing was when U. Rachel got out of the corner. You pretty much lose if they get going. There seems to be an underlying pattern in the course order which looks interesting to me. The course starts off with the gatekeeper Tao. Then it looks a bit random while you fight pairs along the way. After Arakune, things get artificial until you get to Rachel. Then you fight the Six Heroes and the current storyline boss before ending it with the two poster-boys of BB. -

I was under the impression that it was similar to the Abyss mode variant where you could hold it but why would you? Does it say somewhere that you can't hold it? Besides, they should be dead when you crack the X-Factor. -

I think her OD combos are probably where the most fun will come from. It's so ad-lib lol I'm pretty sure he could have continued the combo after the Lightning Arrow but ending it with BBS was hype. If he was closer to the wall, that Cosmic Ray could have connected. -
