The only reason I found out was because of Twitter. He said something about being sad he wasn't able to play with both characters and I was like, "he plays Jin now?" o_O I guess he got tired of bodying people with bottom tier. His Jin is at 12th dan now but I haven't seen footage of it so I'm assuming he plays him exclusively in casuals. As long as he sticks to his bread and butter, I'm fine but I'm definitely curious to see what Goro Jin looks like. Jin has like... actual normals and shit.

Well we haven't seen anyone else in the Intelligence Department besides those two. Maybe what Hazama and Makoto are wearing are standard issue for their respective genders. It would be fucked up if it was true but the NOL is run by some pretty messed-up dudes.

I start laughing when I see someone at 1/4 health get hit with BHS and just die. BHS does hilarious raw damage. I also love his BHS quote. I only wish I knew exactly what he says.

As badass as Hakumen is, Omnislash variants bore me. I'd rather see him swing that dick during Yukikaze than the generic "pose like a badass while shit gets cut up" attack. Still top 10 though. I think Shippu is more violent. IMO, Sector 7 controls the most violent DDs 1) GETB 2) OD Hazama Curbstomp 3) OD Particle Flare 4) Blackhawk Stinger 5) Jayoku Houtenjin

I wouldn't say it's the most painful looking distortion. It's definitely top 5 though. Based shoulder tackle hits like a freight train. IMO, it belongs to Tager for obvious reasons.

I believe so. It's just that the combo Kuroku did had a 5B starter. I'm assuming he was going for "practical" max damage combo. I don't know how much more damage you get for starting off with 5C. Since all the G drives cause a special state upon hit, hitstun doesn't seem to be an issue in OD combos. EDIT: I watched Kuroku's vid again. Off of an OD 5B starter and 100 heat stocked, he uses 125 heat and does 8719 damage.

25 frames huh? The only thing that came to mind is, I'm going to get ravaged by Hazama for a while, DP something at 10% life, catch him with an overhead on wake-up which leads to corner combo. Then he's gonna wake-up with Jayoku Houtenjin, cuz why not? It's fucking godlike. He can't possibly die at 70%~ vitality, right? #YOJHO I block, then activate OD where Makoto will whisper to him, "clench your teeth; it's going in dry." Bam. Fist him with the 5B starter and finish all over his chest with Particle Flare. There's your 8.5k+ Note: this is not me saying it's practical. I was just bored and felt like making up a scenario. What I am saying is that, every now and then, someone royally screws up and you can get your OD 5B starter that way. You can also do this in the mirror when someone whiffs her god-awful DP.

...but she's wrong though. Rank does mean something, it's just not the most accurate measure of skill. Like if Isa decided to play Makoto again. You know damn well to take his ass seriously and not give the dan ranking a second glance until about a week or a month down the line. And that combo is about as practical as landing a 5B starter in OD. With OD's invincibility frames, it's not out of the realm of practicality but you're more likely to get a hit first, then using the OD cancel.

Kuroku has a OD combo with an OD 5B starter that did 8.5k~. I'd consider that somewhat practical. But yeah, ad-lib away. It's all I'm going to be doing. Fuck bursts.

Kuroku maxed out at 8259. Everyone else maxes out around the low 7k's. He has the combos people should be doing. Oh and as far as Makoto players go, the top 3 are Goro, Matsu, and Eda. Their Dans are 17th, 16th and 16th, respectively. Kuroku is at 6th place at 14th Dan. However, Dan level isn't an accurate measure of skill level and Kuroku is up there in skill.

Nope. Tsubaki is better. Plus, Konan won that big tournament so there's no comparison. Makoto also went from being incredibly fun to play to Fucking Pachi. Also, I'm much more interested in the three cuties in that page than Terumi. He's sounding more and more interesting by the day though.

If he's doing that breakdance kick thing as one of his normals, I'm assuming he has range on his normals. His normals could be negative on block though. I remember hearing that he has a run but I'm probably wrong. Piss-poor meter gain could be a thing but somehow, I doubt that if they're pushing the "omg meter all day" thing. I'd like to believe that they can balance him but two things keep coming back up: 1) Terumi 2) Pachi I'm already scoffing my ass off but hey, if he's fun and hilariously broke, he's on my sub list. I do love me some broke shit. EDIT: I'm gonna assume that his OD is the meter-based version of Blood Kain. If not, then it'll strengthen his drives. Going by his build, he looks like he'd be a 10k kinda guy but Jin has 11.5k and he's a goddamn stick. Going by trends though, he'll probably be 10k since all the alternate forms have an HP decrease IIRC.

Alright, he just seems incredibly broken right off the bat. Anyone that doesn't have a meterless reversal is screwed if his rushdown is good. That "steal all your meter" super sounds stupid. The only thing to do now is to see how much meter his drive steals, if it's a 1:1 type of gain and how many times you can combo into his drive. Normally, I would put my trust in the balance team to make Terumi not as stupid as he sounds but I'd have to kill Pachi first. He's like he's married to that guy or something.
