  1. I'm glad we get meter for countering projectiles now. There's been so many times when I do that in Ex and think "Man, I should have full bar by now".

  7. BHS is pretty great as a combo ender or a fat punish. I'm interested in seeing how practical unblockable setups will become.

  10. Doesn't tech after Agito and get's a surprisingly nice combo.   11. Xechs, I wanted to thanks you again for the awesome avatar Lately, I can't post anything without cracking a smile. If it isn't too much trouble, could you change one small thing about it? Since the image of Azrael is from the side, it doesn't make sense to show more than half the glasses. Is it possible to change it so it just shows half, kind of like this? Once again, thanks for the work. Sorry if I'm getting a little bit OCD.

Either way, that's pretty good damage off such a quick overhead. I still see more people use Zantetsu tho.
  13. I think Hakumen's OD is better suited for later in a round. 3 stars just isn't worth losing an unburstable mega-combo or your burst, especially with his faster meter gain.

  17. Besides for some small damage nerfs, he's got a lot going for him. We can't confirm off weak normals like 2A for big damage anymore without being wasteful with meter. But the good starters, especially stuff like 5C, gives massive damage anywhere if you have meter to spare. He can also get amazing damage off of CH 3C and 6B now, which are very common hitters. Meter builds more quickly. I don't want to put much more time into thinking about it, but there's more than that. Merry Christmas.

  19. Hopefully we'll at least be able to get a standard combo off it, even if we can't do Hornet Chaser as a follow up. But this is all assuming that it's a viable anti-air in the first place. The fact that it has guard point and can be held, is very promising. It could be used similarly to Litchi's guard point staff move that's so annoying. Does anyone know how safe HB is on block?
  20. Looking at the OP's values, it is potentially one of his best starters. If a CH could allow for a follow-up without a LW, then it could give some scary damage. I suspect that a CH could enable a full-ish combo. Forgetting which moves exactly, I've seen plenty of instances in matches where (without a WP) someone landed a CH and it had so much hit stun that they could follow up.

  23. YukiBlue got me pretty jealous with his new shiny, awesome, mega-super-duper-amazing Azrael avatar. If it isn't too much trouble, I would like to make a similar-ish request. Could you get any picture you can find of Azrael and then give him Kamina glasses? They look like this (In case you haven't watched Gurren Lagann ) I'm not sure how difficult it would be to do something like that, so I apologize if it's a hassle. Also, could you put an American flag behind him? That would make my day! Thanks for your time
  24. Keep in mind, that it is unsafe for Mitsuru to continue pressuring you at this point. If she decides to continue pressing buttons then you will get a CH. At the very least you get to start your own blockstring, assuming you're starting with fast normals. Mitsuru has good options to mix you up when she has meter to spare, but in general she relies on the opponent making mistakes. Her AOA is slow and easily punishable and her j.B can only capitalize with 50 meter. This makes her high low mix-up poor for most of the match. Mitsuru's will typically try to trick you into thinking you're about to get grabbed and then fatal you. I'm not saying that you shouldn't tech throws, but just to keep an open mind about when she can throw you. Predict that she could throw you, but don't tech it until after you see it. You get plenty of time in this game, so it shouldn't be much of a problem.
