[CP] Taokaka Gamepyarel Discussion v:3 - Encore Edition
LegendaryRath replied to XDest's topic in Taokaka
5.8K corner combo for 25 heat. Pretty scary stuff http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=IY_XU_QESbU#t=826s -
Another quick question. Which size buttons will I need, 30mm or 24mm? Thanks for the help Jimmy. Oh ya, and what color. I'm thinking of just replacing the A, B, C, and D ones. I'm torn between Green, Red, and Purple. Black would work too. Actually, they would all work... If I'm gonna do this, I might as well have some fun with it, you know?

Ruben, mind if I give you the cash and you just add an extra board to your order? I'm definitely doing that, since now the stick lever doesn't recognize diagonal inputs. I'll probably just get a new one of those while I'm at it. Luckily Bryce doesn't play fighting games much and might be willing to let me use his stick in the meantime.

I should really try playing against Hazama more...

Wow, you can astral hazama's drive now.

Not sure exactly how practical 6B will be in combos, but it at least gives us something to think about.

[CP] Azrael - Gameplay Discussion (Pre-Console Release)

If it's alright with Zeth, I'd love to help out with the combo thread after the JP release. I've got HD recording equipment and some experience with that sort of thing. I already offered to do the same thing for Hakumen. It really would be helpful to be able to link the main bnbs to a clip showing how they're supposed to look. Something like that would have been helpful for me when I was starting out. -
Next you're gonna tell me that Paul Bunyan and his trusty blue ox aren't real either.
-
Okedoke. That works for me. I think I'll probably still help out in any way I can, but definitely leave the individual combos to you
-
Linking to the combos can go directly to it in the video. I think you just have to right click on the video and that's an option. The only reason I would prefer one video is to keep it organized. Being someone who uploads stuff regularly, I don't want to spam peoples sub boxes with 5-10 second videos. I guess it's a small complain tho. Also as mAc said, we can figure it out later.

[CP] Azrael - Gameplay Discussion (Pre-Console Release)

I would imagine that using drive attacks would be the optimal thing for punishes. You basically get to do a combo as if a weakpoint was already applied. Let's say you had an upper weakpoint and someone does a random ID or something. Punish with a lower weakpoint move and then use the upper weakpoint to extend it. I'm not 100% sure how well it would work, but I've seen enough drives Ch to suspect that it might be possible. -
In Ex I'm more than confident that I can do every combo and I doubt CP would be much different. To get an idea of how I would go about doing it, here's a bnb combo video for mitsuru I made for Jourdal a while back. I suppose you could link each to the bnbs to their respective combo in the video. Or if you prefer, I could make one video per combo, but I'd rather not. Either way this is just to give you an idea of how I could help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsAwXzoAigA EDIT: If it matters, I'm planning on importing day one.

For once the game comes out, I'll be willing to help out a little bit with the combo thread. If you guys want, I can record each of the bnbs in 720p. Figure it would be helpful to be able to link to a video of each one. Something like that would have helped so much when I started playing BB.

This is what I was talking about yesterday, with how Noel is going to be as broken as a modern Sonic game. Getting 5.7k meterless with a quick, non-fatal CH midscreen. Jesus christ. Rapiding for 5k midscreen is dumb as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=jcCosauzu4w#t=177s I doubt something this ridiculous will make it into the console release, but you never know. Seeing nearly all the decent footage available so far, I could even make a Top and High tier list.
