  1. Explain yourself, Try that combo and tell me it is not optimal. Well In the corner there are a lot of routes, anyone has his, At least with 2DA I am sure it will hit and his proration is really low. so... .
  2. I prefer to cancel 6C into 2D most of the time. Because CH 6C is totally different from normal 6C. The best way to hit confirm from CH 6C is 2DA > 6DA >..... with 28C ender you get at least 4K. For normal 6C, good hit confirm is 6DA but I don't use it most of the time, or I just do 2DB when he is falling (good timing required) or cancel 2D into 6D when I see a non CH and especially close to the corner in order to get a whole combo or RC 2DB and get a good combo midscreen or corner. Midscreen 6C > 2DB CH 6C > 2DA > 6DA > 5B > 3C > 2DC > 5DC > 28C, (depends on you, mix up or damage) Close to corner 6C > 2D > 6DC > 2DC > B orb > well the corner route... In the corner or close 6C or CH 6C > 2DA > 6DA > 5DA > 44 > 6B > 5C > delay a bit 6DC > 2DC > B orb > 2C > 5C > 6DC > then delayed 2DB or 5DC into 28C or Super. Edit, BTW you don't have to cancel it into a drive, if 6C hits high enough or a CH, you can just dash and pick up with 3C on normal 6C or wait a pick with 3C or 5B, 6B after a CH 6C.
  3. Corner CH 3C combo is CH 28C > 3C > 6DC > 2DB 6A is +5 on hit, this is my new way to harass some people. After 6A, you have like High low mixup. Well That is the way I use it, and it tends to work. CH 28C, you can hit 5A once or twice and then make them guess or for an air throw or for 6C. That is pretty good. however, most of the time, I prefer to charge my B orb except vs Azrael, Hakumen and sometimes Ragna. The thing is if they expect the throw, they won't Barrier block and for 6C they need barrier block. And if they do, 6C has like 27F of blockstun when it is air blocked 24 + 3 'if I remember correctly' additional frames of Barrier block. That will for force them to land and you are safe. And it also combo to (4)1236C, it can help!!! Anyway, something that makes me laugh, is people trying to mash low attacks when you use 5DA after a drive, I am getting a lot of Fatal counters and free damage. Respect my Drives!!!! FloeFace. I am getting used to his changes, now we can swing safely!!!!
  4. What? I still understand your point, you combo started with 5DB....... O_o Also, if you use 5DB, you can't cancel it anymore into 4DD, maybe 1DD or 3DD but eh, people do stuffs so.....
  5. I don't get somethind, why are you going with 5DB > 4DD > 5B.... When it is way easier to do 5DB > 6DC > 2DC > B orb > wait a bit 2C > 5C > 6DC > 2DA > super for 5355 dmg. Don't work that much for less damage xD. I don't bother myself anymore with midscreen optimal combos. My route is simple and works on everyone. 2C > 2DB > RC > 5DA < 2DA > 6DA > ..... Normal route.
  6. You are totally right, he seems faster, a bit. Yep as I thought we have at least 2 true blockstrings now 6DC > 2DB 5DC > 2DB Even 6C > 2DB is really tight. 2C fast recovery is just god for me. You can whiff it and punish anyone trying to dash at any time if you have your 45F charged. 6A meterless follow up being impossible to most of chars make me sad. Seems like jB> jA > djB > jC should be the norm now, better positioning and no need to super jump and + a bit of extra damage. Lol
  7. Well someone needs some lab time. 3C may be the easiest and most efficient punisher but 2C is the best. CH 2C ( or 5C but you need to not too far, while 2C will always connect). midscreen. 2C > 6DA > 2DA > B orb > 6C > 6DB > 2DC > 5DC > 28C (for avoiding any risk) = 5642 dmg. But if you want a bit more damage after 6C > 6DA > 3C > 2DC > 5DC > 28C or 2DC > 5DA > Super. Corner 2C or 5C > 2DA > 5DA > 6DA > 3C > 6DC > 2DC > B orb > 2C > 6DC > 2DB = 5882 dmg (from 2C) More damage without super after B orb > 6C > 6DB > 5DC (btw they will always fall to the ground so you have plenty of time to charge the orb)> wait 28C = 6359 dmg and 6870 dmg with Super ender. All these combos work with 3C too but do less damage. If you land one of these combos, your opponent will respect you forever!!!!!

  9. Well some strange combos dropped and I understand. Do you know that Azrael any move after 5B is a free DP for you? his 5BB is not a true blockstring, I always make sure to let them know and stop all their nonsense pressure. Yeah Bang is sometimes just too fast for Kagura. Great matches. Wait, something I don't get is how someone you beat in Losers semis can still play vs you in Losers Finals? Should he not be eliminated already?
  10. While your list may be right, it will be useless within a month or less. On many videos I watched, I seems like 2DB > 5DA may not be punishable anymore because the second hit of 2DB is now a lvl 5 attack which means at least 20F of blockstun instead of 16 of a lvl 3 attack and 5DA has now 33F (14 + 19) of startup instead of 36F. I didn't see anyone hit him during this string. Not to mention that 2DB is now -5 on block. 2DB > 5DC beats, at least trades with any masher. 6DC > 2DB could be a true blockstring, at least really difficult to punish. Many other things have change for his drives. However, you are right the fact that 2DB was unsafe, was really hurting him. after a 6DC, the instant move was to do 2DB, the safest drive when blocked is 2DC but can whiff when you are far away. Cancel 6DC into a drive stance w/o any move make it somehow safe but some good players can super you before you are able to Stance cancel it. He was too risky to play at high level.

  12. Anyway, I'm really liking the looks of CP1.1 Kagura. His changes were exactly all I wanted, other than the dumb 6A nerf which honestly has no reason to even have happened. You can still OD cancel it, sure(I think), but who is gonna burn a burst to follow up an overhead? Regardless, the C moves buff is greatly appreciated, and same for the faster stance cancels and their buffed properties. Really hype for going back to this guy now that I know I won't feel I can't get shit done in neutral with him because everything is ass and he is a slow bastard. Finally someone who gets my point. You can fraud win vs scrubs and people online but when it comes to play a solid ground and footsies game vs a good Ragna, Azrael, Litchi or Hakumen players, You see what your character is lacking. If your 2C whiff vs Ragna, for example, he can dash and punish you with 5B ... while you are crouching, which means a efficient midscreen combo. We lost his 6A godlike starter and some damage but he still does a lot. And from a normal starter and with no condition, he is the character who does most damage in the corner. Since Tager needs you to be magnetized or his fireballs, Hakumen needs his matagama and Relius needs Ignis gauge. Azrael needs his mark on you, Arakune with his curse. Only these are some chars who can do more damage than him.

  14. Reaper, I understand your concern but I think 6C can be a great pressure tool now. In fact after watching many Kagura players doing well and using it, 6C has a different purpose in BBCP 1.1, you will get it after watching some great japanese players. Anyway, I just wanted to congratulate Danke for his amazing play at Texas Showdown. He got 3rd place, he could have got 2nd if he didn't dropped 6DA after 6C (yeah it happens even offline). I felt so bad for him. That why in some situations I prefer to go for 6DB this one never drop, but eh. He was great!!!! Hopefully He won't drop Kagura after all. I am still the only one believing Kagura is better in BBCP 1.1?

  17. All drives can be cancelled 3F faster; Ground stances cancels changed from 17F to 14F and air stances from 8F to 5F. All these data has been published from day 1. If you forgot about them just go on dustloop Wiki and see BBCP 1.1 Change List.
  18. Thanks man, But don't forget that Drives cancels are faster now so 5C > 2DB will remain the same 6DC > 2DB will be even stronger because of that change. It may be a true blockstring now. We can hope, can't we?. However 5C into A orb may not as powerful as it was (it is) due to the blockstun nerf, that could only work if the frame advantage has been reduced, which I don't think. If 5C is -2 or -1 on block, that could but given all has decreased by -3, it should remain -4 on block. Anyway, I also wanted to know about something, 2C is cancellable into 5C on block but not a true blockstring. I was guessing if thanks to the 2C buff on recovery and frame advantage, it will become stronger or a blockstring. That would be godlike. I want to harass Ragna and Azrael far away from me.
  19. I don't know if we have all information on Kagura changes but I don't get something from his 6C change mentionned on Dustloop wiki. It is said 6C is now 22F, 1200 dmg and recovery decreased from 20 to 24. I don't get something about this last point, I thought it was blockstun changed from 20 > 24 and that would make sense since the move's blockstun is actually 20. And if it is actually recovery, it should be specified recovery decreased given that the current move recovery is 29. I would be glad if it is a recovery reduction, but I thought we have to get the right information.

  21. Hopefully it can chain into 2A which is 1F slower. That would give us like at least 2K combo. not bad at all.
  22. You are right. I can understand for CH 6DC but why are you RCing if you are not going for max damage midscreen? Having them up there is also an oki especially vs Azael, Hakumen or some others who can easily get out of it.

First of all, I wanted to remember that 6C > 6DB still works, 2DA > 6DB works too and I saw them in a combo video, at least in the corner. 3C doesn't launch that low and remember all his drives are 3F faster now. That said, yesterday I tested a lot of combos without B orb after 2DA and they are really interesting. These for example will still work with less damage maybe - CH 6DC > 3C (not too low) > 5DA > 2DA > 6DA > 5B > 3C > 2DC > 5DC > 28C = 4453 dmg on big characters and - 100 on small chars. That is doable everywhere . If you are midscreen ......5B > 3C > 6DC > 2DC > B orb > 3C > 6DC > 2DB = ~4750 dmg. - 2C > 2DB > RC > 5DA > 2DA > 6DA ( these three drives will be the main combo route midscreen)> 5B > 3C > 2DC > 5DC > 28C = ~4830 dmg - 5B > 3C > CT > 3C > 5DA > 2DA > 6DA > 5B > 3C > 2DC > 5DC > 28C = ~4K dmg (I don't remember exactly) All these combos are midscreen and I tested with 6C after 2DB RC and CH 6DC, the proration is just bad and we get less damage. - CH 6DC > 6C > 6DA > 3C (high, for getting this you have to time 6DA to hit a bit high too. not easy) > 5DA > 2DA > 6DA> 5B > 3C doesn't connects .... Only possibility is just 5BB > jBC for less damage. Not interesting. Same thing happen if you do 6C > 3C > 3 A drives > 5B > 3C after 2DB RC. I also tested corner combos but they are pretty much the same as on combo videos.
