Done, I got him in 2 hours and 15 mins, thanks Kurushii! He is really different from other chars but when you understand him, you can do amazing stuffs.

5C with 19 frames startup? O_O !!!!!! Not officiel, but ehh! Any jump cancellable moves on Block? how are his airdashes? fast enough? Does that means 6B is a level 4 move? Since only level 4 moves can connect with a move having 19f startup except whle you are hitting someone crouching.

Come on guys, what do you expect from day 3 of a new character. If someone was thinking Kagura is fast, then you did the wrong choice. This is the mainly reason he can do such damage when he touch you, and he have 11,5K. They won't give you Taokaka with that health. I remember people saying that Relius was so bad in BBCS EX and Uzayoi was the worst char in BBCP. Both get good with time. BTW Hakumen and Tager are slow too, but they are good chars. In few words, give him some time and when we will learn his neutral game, problems will be resolved. If we think we can just press his 5C and get a combo then we are playing the wrong game.

From the video of Mikel93 vs Thunder (Mu player), jC is not that bad, He was hitting that Mu correctly.

OMG, I am loving I saw on some combo videos, so CH 5C wallbounce, 2C causes a hard knockdown???? and that A fireball cancel from air throw is so stylish. One word: DAMAGE.

So, is his jC recovery like Mu jC recovery (4) or worse, maybe you should use it when landing, because I saw some people use it pretty early in the air. jB seems legit though. I don't think we should use his DP on wakeup unless we are taking some risk or we have meter for RC. What I saw one good Kagura player so far, He blocks and then DP whenever his opponent try to do another mixup, since any move that isn't a blosckstring is beaten. I don't know, I don't have the game yet (Monday) but I am taking notes, keep posting guys!!!!

First of all, CT is not the best starter (80) and you are missing something, in general the combo is after 236C>214A knockdown, you do 66 (or not depending on how far you you are)> 5C (jump cancel its first hit)> jC> j236C>j214B and then falling jB. In general it is done pretty early so that you can continue your combo after falling jB> 2C>6C with 41236B... If you can't, there is an interesting one, without using Ignis meter, mostly done by Kyuu and pretty godlike. .... 236C>214A>5C(1)>jB (done directly after the jc)>jC (a bit delayed)>j236C>2C>6C>22A>4C>3C>jc or super or 214C (for wake up pressure) or 236D (for unblockable setup) or 214D (for late unblockable setup, not that good, to be honest). Same here, getting it Monday, Europe is still behind. lol. Except Top tiers, Relius is pretty solid. Well, Litchi is a pain for most of the cast. If you want to be good vs Litchi, you have to play with her in training mode in order to understand how she works and play vs good Litchi players. Her staff is THE Problem. Mu zoning game is way better in this version but her corner damage have been drastically reduced. It is now difficult to get 4K meterless there while her midscreen damage can be scary. She is good but not a particular threat vs Relius.

@Jackie, I tried to do so with TGS gameplay video. You just can't do it, because in both rounds he get get hit by single normals (at least once each round) If you don't know damage of those hit, you can't value how much damage they do. The only video among the new ones he was hit only hit by combos (so easier to do math) is the second round of the 2nd corean video posted here. Him vs Kokonoe.

Nothing extra, nothing special, only addition fortunately chip damage is so low in BB.

I finally had a video in which Kagura is only hit by combos and I was able to calculate his health. I strongly believe and from my calculs, he has 11,500. 11K is a given.

I almost had the same problem. When I bought my first BB I played Bang, he was funny and versatile but he wasn't my type of char and I wasn't good enough with him, at that time I wasn't even able to do the DP motion on my stick. Then they announced Relius, when I saw how he worked, I just fell in love with him and Ignis. I bought BBCS EX from US and I tried to play but he was so difficult, more difficult than Bang. However he was perfect for my style, because I love Chars that control mid range game with good normals, even w/o a DP. So I put at least 1 month only to synchronise his moves with Ignis ones. I was training again and again. Alongside with him, I started playing Tsubaki and I get better with her faster and I was able to do great stuffs, amazing combos but I just wanted to play Relius. I put so much time with him and watched many videos, even started chatting with some amazing Relius players on twitter (lol) that I understood how he works and was able to play him correctly. I should say that Tsubaki helped me to become a better player. Mu-12 is my last char, I just love the way she fight and I tried her in order to deal with Arakune and Tager online, now she is my second main. She is so good and I don't think I will drop her unless they announce Jubei. Sorry for the story, but what I am trying to say is 1) understand what style you are good or better at (Rushing/mid range and space control/zoning and long range/ or both of these features). We are lucky that Blazblue have all these types of chars and even Chars with many of these features. 2) Look for a character you like or love even before he comes out (Me for example, it is Kagura and I am trying to figure out how he works and I already played many charge chars) because it is easier to understand and learn a character you love. It is funnier and you will like to put more time with him in the lab and figure new stuffs. BTW if you like many chars, you can try them all and figure who is your best and start with him, you will learn others later. 3) Try to learn the max of your character, you have to almost completely understand the way to play him or her. Analyse matchups, find new roads of combos, learn all about frames (if you want to be good with him), read forums about him... If you are interested in a new char, learn about him and try him when the game comes out but first of all you need to understand what is your fighting style. For example, Rush down = Terumi, Zoning and setups = Kokonoe and Mid range and some footsies = Kagura. So make your choice, I also want to remind that you also have Azrael, Amane, Bullet and Izayoi to choose between the new chars.
