  1. I have only one problem with that theme... It's not the full clear version. I never got this hype about a song since the first time I've heard Marionette Purple. (Though Six Heroes was pretty close.) Sick theme. Thanks.
  2. Does anyone know a video where I can get a clear listen to Hibiki's theme? I watched one but I could only listen to the intro before I found out Nu's Swords got the absolute worst sound effect of all Blazblue games. So freaking grating... (Seriously, that thing must be the child of a lightsaber and a vuvuzela.)
  3. Are you planning on posting this in the specific character forums or on the wiki? I particularly think that this kind of guide should be posted on the both, but the wiki deserves a special mention. It's easier for beginners to check the wiki before jumping in the character forums and players looking for basic information for matchup purposes often have to check the wiki anyway to know the opposing character's moves. It also helps for those who can't do a proper video to illustrate what they're trying to explain about the character. Maybe an unified format can help with popularizing the guides, which is another advantage to posting guides on the wiki. Everything in one place with a similar format should help everyone to understand different characters in a basic level, which helps everyone in the end. Unfortunately I can't really help with the guides since I don't have Extend, but I can give a tip or two about Nu and Lambda if someone is trying to compile some info about them.
  4. The worst part is that there's simply no reason to ever have a clone in Pokken. There's over 700 pokémons and someone decides it's a great idea to add a clone in a roster that didn't even reach the 15 character mark yet. Hawlucha got pretty much confirmed to be an assist at best. I don't even...
  5. Why do I have the feeling that this game will have tons of DLC characters? Oh yeah, small roster and no Gallade yet. Still hype though.
  6. Oh man, these threads are goldmines. Last week I was playing a friend in CP 1.1. Around the third match I thought he was starting to understand the game. He picked Tao and at match start he backdashed and I jumped back. He then proceeded to use Standing Barrier Block from full screen. I was using Nu-13. No points for guessing what happened. 236D. He watched it come and kept blocking high. I lol'd. Then I did the 236D~C version. When he tried to block low after the third 236D I used Lambda's Forme 4D. Felt like I was playing Terumi. So much trolling.
  7. Well the game was made for 720p. The main issue is the PS4 not getting the memo and trying to render sprites in 1080p. (And that's before 1080 -> 720 -> 1080 TV conversion shenanigans. The result probably looks as cringe-worthy as Celica trying to sing Black Onslaught I. (Or maybe not, but I've yet to see footage of the PS4 version.) And now you're imagining Celica trying to sing BO with her Jap voice.
  8. I'm still having problems with DID and DS inputs. (It's hard to change years of muscle memory in a week) Not to mention that I got my combo working easier with CID since it launches the opponent lower, giving it less time to tech. Since 5D can't reliably catch people after BE, what's the best option in this case? 2C? Raw Ground Bloodscythe is only good to catch ridiculously unsafe stuff like random slides since it will hopefully dodge it before hitting the opponent. D Inferno Divider might be a better option for Fatal Combos, but don't quote me on that, I still haven't tested either.
  9. There's too little information about Amane for that kind of theory. Nothing neither proves nor disproves it, but as far as Chrono Phantasma is concerned, Amane's an immortal observer.
  10. The 6A and the 5D. It's like I'm doing it right, but suddenly Ragna techs right as the active frames get to him. On both cases. Real trippy. Thanks for that combo, I'll try it out later.
  11. I'm sorta new, so forgive me for excessive scrubbiness (Is that even a word?), but I'm randomly dropping combos left and right, even in training mode. I improvised a corner combo, but I can't consistently do it since it randomly drops on the relaunches. 5B > 5C > 2C > 623C >> 236C >> 236C > 6A > jc J.C > djc J.C > J.214C > 5D > 214A >> 214D I tested it only on Ragna, so could it be hitbox issues?
  12. Maybe he's trying to pick a sub. Doesn't Azrael have a lot of bad matchups?
  13. Trippy. How does that even work? (Terumi being able to hijack Hazama, not the whole BB story.)
  14. I didn't say that either. I said that they might do it for the final game.
  15. I can already see the Final game being PS4 only, just to keep the trend of dropping a console for each new entry in the series. Oh well. Regarding ODGC, it looks like just another reason to not get predictable in block strings. It's going to be annoying when Lambda starts doing full screen ODGC punishes though. Still looks like an excellent investment though, especially if they add more to the story mode.
  16. OD Raid in a nutshell. Does Nu and Lambda's Calamity Sword still groundbounce on hit or counter? Because that also leads to gorillion damage too. And let's not get started on Unit Cookie Dough + Mugen Combos...
  17. Extend needed to be a full game because they didn't add just a character, it was a character + balance updates + at least 5 new character story modes (Can't remember if CT Reconstruction was in CSII) CP2 just adds 2 characters and balance changes. I don't even know why they called it a 2.0 version when they could just add them as DLC and Balance Updates. That's scaring me.
  18. Meh, it'll take so long to be available in Brazil that it's still viable to buy CP1. (In fact, CP1 took so long to get here that I forgot to check release dates and still didn't bought it.) Just wishful thinking, unless CSII was free. If CSII was free, then there's still hope.
  19. I see. Looks interesting. Hope this game isn't a full DLC for console. Is there a changelog from CP 1.1 to 2.0?
  20. So, what is the general consensus about Nu and Lambda? Are they different enough? How's Nu compared to her CT self?
  21. Funny, your possible rebuttals of Hazama being Kazuma work better as proof that Hazama is Kazuma. Point 1: Trinity describes Kazuma in PS1 before the merge, since he did have a completely different personality. However, after the fusion, the man they called Terumi was in fact Terumi + Kazuma. Point 2: Even better. Valk saying that his mind remained intact yet his body was destroyed leads us to Relius Extend story, where Terumi appeared as a ghost asking him if he could build his body again. Point 3: Now, Point 3 is actually more complicated. His merge isn't normal when he says that, despite the fact that it's still "Hazama" so we don't really know who was in control. Not to mention that Kazuma did mimic his "Pre-Terumi Meetings" tone in PS1 several times to keep Trinity fooled. Not to mention that the next line "Hazama" says is: "Ugggrr... T-This is... Don't tell me, you already found out how to... From just that one time!? Are you trying to pull me out of here!?" Since Trinity was actually pulling Terumi out, we can easily say it was Terumi speaking.
  22. "Then, I shall ask you the most recent of those memories you have recovered... Can you tell me what year this is?" "...2199 AD. Nah, we just had a new year so it should be 2200 AD." "This is presently the year of 2106 AD, young man." "......" Ragna fell silent. Clavis continued talking. Screw this, I'm outta here. Retcons, Retcons everywhere.
  23. Really? I didn't notice that in Phase 0. When did it happen?
  24. Well, he lived a long time with Terumi and Relius. Maybe he had seen enough to decide he want to strangle Amaterasu with Ouroboros and then throw it at Izanami.
