  1. GGs Surfiet, your Bullet had me terrified the whole time. I always felt I was one misplaced button for a speedy and just death.
  2. So I'm wondering How does one get the orange+yellow+black Color pallet for the cast. It looks great on all of the characters I play, whereas I've found their in-game colors disappointing. Also the Past stage/music DLC; firstly, does it come with Bang's old FRKZ theme and/or a way to switch the new one to it? Secondly is there a way to straight up buy the codes needed to get it, or if not where can one order the BBAM discs required to get them. Much thanks to any who can answer my questions.
  3. Well whenever you do cool down, just tell me, I'm always up for a good fight. (TBH my friend's not that good. He plays Haku and is adamant that combos are an optional thing to learn in BB)
  4. It's half my fault, my friend is over playing League of Legends and it's sucking up my already terri-bad interwebs. He want's to fight you though, because he's vowed to obliterate every Relius that ever did walk the earth. Anywho GGs!
  5. Dang, I was thinking that you couldn't be grabbed out of backdash because while it's active Relius looks airborne and ground grabs don't affect airborne people. I thought the frames would be throw invulnerable, but that's not the case is it?
  6. So the 5B->[6D->665B]xN loop really can shine in this match-up. Have you ever had trouble with a backdashing Azrael? With Ignis, we can punish it with ease. I've also had fun 236A-ing his mix-up as it's insanely obvious and very punishable.
  7. But Terumi's moves are fast and lead into tons of damage, (ofc he's gotta have meter, and somehow get the opponent to stop blocking low)
  8. Does Relius get that too? Whenever I use 6A and the opponent jumps, they always seem to tech before 236C... I wonder if 6D will catch them before they hit the ground, vuz I don't think it OTGs them...
  9. Another trick to learning IB-ing is to practice block-strings with the character you are trying to IB against. Learn their timing and you'll learn your timing.
  10. Heh, the way her taunt looks now, it's gonna look like she's desperately checking her skirt for acorns to throw.
  11. Yeah, I can see a lot of taunt spam to that effect in our near future.
  12. So, as that's essentially everyone, just take out your BBCP disk and break it in half. An easy fix right?
  13. And at the end of the day, you've got acorns. What more do you people need?
  14. So according to the paragraph above the Relius changes on the official page, if google translate and my ability to decode gibberish are both effective enough to derive truth, it looks like CH Bel Lafino will be combo-able (at least on ground hit.) It looks like they want it to be used as an air to ground attack. Also The change to Gad Leis shouldn't affect our follow-ups if what they say should be believed. Sad thing about the backdash, but I never used it anyway. But i'm the optomistic sort, so maybe with the increased time we can finally evade some tager command grabs. Bizarrely enough, I'm exited about the 6->4 negative resistance change, I've never gotten negative resistance in CP, and it felt kinda weird without it. How much was the hitstop on Duo Bios before? Some legitimately ill high-fives indeed, I just wish his OD got some of the buffs his son's did.
  15. Is it lack of meaningful buffs that screwed her over? or are the j.B, crush trigger, and backdash things that severe?
  16. Really just means he'll be relying on these more With Hazama, even if you win you lose. Very true to the story mode.
  17. I'll tell you, but first gaze deep into my avatar gif... you are feeling veeeeery sleeeeepy....
  18. I can corroborate this^
  19. Thank god they did something to Tao.
  20. Now granted I'm not the world's best or anythin' of the sort, I'd like to give you some advice. First things first, at the start of the round you generally want to find a way to A: get Ignis out and then B: get them hit or blocking. I noticed at the beginning of the round your opponent gave you some slack, take advantage of that and get her out. For starting pressure there is no real substitute for 5B->5D->66->5B->stuff. Air dashing in and doing stuff is a gamble, but can pay off too so don't be afraid to mix it up. Some good stuff for you; Make use of Ignis for neutral. She is a god level projectile and deserves to be acknowledged as such. Use j.2D/j.6D/j.8D when your opponent is midscreen to terrorize them, if the opponent is far away 214C will essentially get you in for free if they block it, (just look out for counter assaults.) Now then what you want the opponent to get hit by is 3C. 3C is the move that leads into everything, and if it's blocked it's no big whoop because you can jump cancel and have Ignis cover your decent with a 6D. once you hit the opponent if you can somehow get 3C to hit you can do one of these babies from midscreen: (Whatever)->3C->jump forward+6D->falling j.B->2C->6C->41236B->5B->5C->superjump->j.B->j.C->j.236C->j.214B->airdash (Whatever)->3C->IAD+6D->j.B->j.C->j.8D->land->superjump->j.C->j.8D->jump->j.C->j.8D->j.236C->j.214B (Whatever)->3C->41236B+D->2C->6C->22A->4D->superjump->j.B->j.236C->j.214B->airdash (Whatever)->3C->A+B~>6D->665B->2C->6C->41236B->5B->5C->superjump->j.B->j.C->j.236C->j.214B->airdash there's also a fun loop here to help get the hang of Relius: 5B->5C->[jumpforward+6D->falling j.C->665B->5C]X3->3C->632146D All that really remains if for you to put them in block-strings. Remember, my friend, 3C is jump cancel-able even on block so it's incredibly hard to punish. If you ever need to summon/desummon ignis, make them block 3C, jump, then summon.
  21. So a friend of mine is getting a PS3 so he can play the NA version BBCP, problem is he's going to get his pre-order copy way before he gets the PS3. He wants to know if the Terumi DLC code he's gonna get will have an expiration date, and if it does, approximately how long it will last for. Can anyone here give me the details?
  22. Looks like that's only at full health though.
  23. And then everyone will drop Adachi when Nanako becomes playable. The truth is cruel.
  24. So I've been playing CP a while, and I've noticed that I'm not getting counter hits when I'm expecting them. The big offenders are peoples j.As but I feel like I could write those off as the recovery on those moves expiring, but in some weird instances like Bang's j.2C I know I'm hitting them while the move is still active, sometimes even on the move's startup of their move, and yet I'm not getting a counterhit. There's quite a few other moves out there that seem to be un-counterable as opposed to their extend counterparts, anyone got an explanation for me?
  25. Anyone catch the "P1 Grand Prix's Final Chapter" part in that trailer? Could that mean this is the last one?
