  1. ANyone wanna play?
  2. Okay, thanks for the tips everyone. My next question, what are some good habits and tricks to use when pressuring with Noel? Like, what exactly are your main strategies and block strings look like? I notice that its hard for her to mix up normally, and Chain Revolver provides to many options to not have a game plan.
  3. How exactly do you dash cancel in any combo involving 22C?
  4. K, I'll send an Invite when your on.
  5. Anyone feel like playing this morning?
  6. Okay, I'll send an invite in a few minutes! EDIT: Good games thunderbolt, I had fun. Hopefully my poor Makoto playing didn't bore you.

  8. I going to argue that this match up is even if not slightly in Makoto's favor. Bullet is kinda slow and clunky, and can easily be out sped by Makoto. Often times, Makoto can rush in and go ham while she's trying to use Lock On, or using Afterburner to charge heat levels. Just try and treat her like your playing a Tager with a lower damage output and smaller hitboxes. Her defense is kind've ass. While it's not dependent on Heat Level, she only has one reversal that is very slow with pathetic range. (It might actually be smaller then Corona Upper) She also has a command grab super, but it requires that the input be buffered. If she has 100 meter, watch out, it's going to hurt! Also, be wary of a dirty trick involving said command grab. They'll come in with a drive attack intending for you to block, and once you land, they perform the grab for a lot of damage. Just get in and pummel her before she can hit back.
  9. I think this Match Up is fairly evenly matched. Makoto has the proper defensive tools that makes it hard for him to completely curb stomp her, but the range and priority of his pokes can make it hard for Makoto to lay a punch. When blocking, be sure to watch out for any jump cancelable moves, and block high when ever he's in the air. Terumi lacks a standing over head, so I'm pretty sure he uses his J.D. He needs meter to perform reversals, but that's not exactly a tall order for him. But like it's stated in the op, He can't really build meter if he's sliding on his face in the corner. Also, be careful about him cornering you. He can go completely ham there, and it improves his damage output quite a bit. Other then the above, this match up is very straight forward.
  10. From what I understand, Jin can be a little tricky for some characters. I think Goro struggles against Jin's a little bit. From my experience, you have to treat Jin a little bit like a Zoning character with all those stupid Projectiles. Just play patient, and wait for him to make a mistake. That way, you can dash in and start to pressure. Be sure to watch out for his DP's, and also Barrier Canceling dashes can be really helpful for not taking damage from flying icicles. I can't think of much else though, it's a fairly straight forward match up.
  11. anyone wanna play?
  12. I'm in! PSN: BrokenStar96 Location: Ohio Timezone: EST
  13. Anyone wanna play, I'm going to set up a room in a few minutes.
  14. Good games as usual Susano. Hopefully my Izayoi is starting to improve a little bit, I definitely need to be more aggressive with my pressure. Hopefully I didn't bore you.
  15. Noel's just one of those characters whose very dependent on fundamentals for her neutral game and defense, but has god like pressure thanks to her speedy normals and Drive. Noel is super mobile, especially when compared to Izayoi, so be very weary about having an exit strategy when zoning, and be ready to use 623B and 236B to stuff Jump Ins and Rush In perspectively. Also, be careful about you spacing, Optic Barrel can be a bit annoying when trying to zone, and it's one of the main reasons we can't simply play dumb and go zone happy. Noel's pokes and normals are all very short ranged, but they all have crazy priority, so it's kind've a bad idea to try and rush her blindly. That means when your rushing in Gain Art, your probably going to want to use 214 D teleport or 236D Sonic Sabre to break into Noel's defenses. The good news is, Noel's defensive options are very situational. Her 4D lost a lot of invulnerable frames from Extend, while her Machine Gun Super costs 50 meter. If Noel manages to get you in some Drive Pressure, and proceeds to get you into a combos... You better have the meter to Justice Phorizer out of it or your going to kiss your health bar good bye. All and all, this match up feels pretty even.
  16. Good games Susano! I had tons of fun! Hopefully my Izayoi is starting to get better.
  17. GG's Zking, I had fun. I hope I didn't do too bad, my Izayoi still needs quite a bit of work.
  18. K, invite sent EDIT: Very sorry Toan, my parents were starting to fight, and I had to go and break them up. Everything is okay now though.
  19. Alright, what's your PSN?
  20. Anyone feel like playing a few rounds?
  21. GG's Badlime! Sorry if I bored you at all, but I had a decent time. I think with My Izayoi, my neutral and defensive games are still there, but I really need to work on Pressure, Mix Ups, and Hit Confirming in Gain Art Mode. Anyway, thanks for the games.
  22. Izayoi. I need as much practice as possible.
  23. I'll play with you for a little bit.
  24. Thanks, You did great to. Hopefully I didn't bore you with my lack luster Izayoi... EDIT: GG's TD And Litherain! TD: I've never seen someone use so many different characters with such skill! Your Rachel was like a symphony of death! Litherain: Your Noel was amazing, I couldn't land a hit! Sorry if I bored you guys, I'm not that good of a player, and I just started playing with Izayoi recently. But still, I had fun.
  25. Good. I'm still trying to learn the basics of Rachel, so I'm glad I didn't do too bad. I think I made tons of mistakes cause of nerves though. I've never used Rachel online before... Anyway, good games.
