  1. So I attempted to write a beginners guide for playing Naoto, and I have a rough draft ready. Would it be possible for me to get an opinion on it from an experienced Naoto Player.
  2. Okay, everyone who asked for it should've recieved an invite to the chatroom. If you haven't let me know.
  3. Okay, sorry for my inactivity. Everyone who posted who wasn't already has been added to this list. To make things easier on me, if you are a member of the chat room, and have someone on the chat list who is in your friend list and hasn't been invited to the chat list, please invite them so my Friend's list doesn't completely fill up in a day.
  4. I'm hoping that they'll give it a more upbeat opening then the first episode, but it's okay for now. So far, they established everything that needs to in the first episode. The introduced the main characters. (Ragna, Jin, Noel, Rachel, and Hazama) They've introduced the setting, (Kagutsuchi), created intrigue for new viewers. (Like why Ragna was so startled to see Noel's face, or Rachel's cryptic nature regarding the continuum shift) So far, everything is falling into place. They'll probably explain more as the series continues. Sort a like how a lot of anime starts out vague to rope the viewer in, and then explains everything a little later to clarify whats going on.
  5. So, simply just don't try to use Macro's, and they'll be very unlikely to happen. And it shouldn't be a huge problem, because I only usually just play online, and other then SMP loops in P4A, I don't rely on glitches.
  6. Has there been any news on the whole Macros/Pads controversy and stuff. I want to get the Japanese Patch, but I'm not sure I want to get it If I'm unable to play with a pad.
  7. GG's Susano, hopefully I wasn't to crappy when playing, I know I still have a long way to go to improve.
  8. Lolz: I love how characters like Noel, Makoto, and Celicia look all happy, while Ragna is super annoyed, Jin is giving Noel the Evil Eye/Death Glare, and Rachel just looks like the little kid at the outing who just wants to go home.

  11. 2 questions. One, how exactly to you properly perform Rachel's winded Overheads (J.A and J.B) And what are some general strategies when Zoning with Rachel.
  12. Yeah, if I'm thinking of the same player, his Shadow Labrys is brutal! I got completely bodied when I faced him in the tournement. I'll probably be on for most of the evening if anyone wants to play.

  16. Yeah, now my main goal is to master the infamous SMP Loop. I'll just go ahead an say, it's a bitch. Anyway, yeah, I feel improved a lot. I think understand Naoto a little more now. (Lol, it sounds like I started a social link with her.) But yeah, from what I understand, Naoto doesn't so much pressure her opponent, but more so punishes them for every little mistake. If they whiff a move, she's at the perfect place to punish, and then set up more traps, and put herself in great positions to go into her snipe stance. Basically, you have to put in a small amount risk by giving your foe enough rope to hang them selves. I also feel like I got the hang of Shield of Justice and her SP Snipe Stance (The one where she rolls and crosses) to escape pressure! Anyway, thanks for the games.
  17. But the increased recovery is going to hurt anyform of 2D Oki if it whiffs, and it's going to make 4/5/6 D very risky if it doesn't land a fatal counter.

  20. Good Games Dxmds, thanks for putting up with my lack of skills. But I'm thinking about dropping out of the tourney I entered. I don't think I'm ready for that kinda stuff yet.
  21. It looks like Yukiko got hit a little hard during the second loketest, particularly anything involving her Agi special (I'm pretty sure this really hurts her Oki and Combo options mid screen)... Ouch...
  22. I was looking at some of Stunedge's notes, and it seems like Naoto improved a bit from the first loctest. Basically, while her Oki is still hurt, and her DP is a counter again, she can still set up traps effectively for zoning purposes, and her new Venom Zapper is a great way to squeeze extra damage out of combos. Plus, the Traps now take off 4 Fate Counters now, so that should be pretty useful. While Naoto is far from perfect, I feel like we made a step in the right direction this loctest.
