ArcSys Voice Acting [This thread has rules now]
Master Of Chaos replied to SoWL's topic in Zepp Museum
The way that they say "Minazuki" is weird though. -
Speak for yourself bro. I'm riding the Celica hype at full speed, and if it comes down to Terumi vs Celica I ain't goona think twice about where I'm headed.

[P4AU] Tohru Adachi Gameplay Discussion
Master Of Chaos replied to Antiquarian's topic in Tohru Adachi
Making an Adachi Skype group for all your unrestrained, monitored venting/gushing/raging/TV throwing needs. Send me a line if you want in. -
It's the Valve curse. You fell victim to the Steam sale, now you can't count to three. Welp, BB story over. Time to head home everyone, good game.

Can I get a looping GIF of this vid? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNpVW95aDCg I'd like to have the captions "SwagBros4Life" added at the bottom of the screen, when Hazama and Terumi are standing idle.

We feed the weak to the masses to lure them into a false sense of security. Then we give them a true taste of despair, served up on a chain.

Some of the time I find it funny. Other times I want to punch them in the dick.

Whenever the other guy drops out without saying anything after I win for the first time, particularly if I just got out of a losing streak. Whenever the opponent rage quits after I land an astral. Unless it's Terumi's, then it's just funny. Whenever I win a match with Terumi and I get hate mail from the loser getting mad at me for using a "Broken ass DLC character," or even better, "A shitty Hazama clone who's a waste of a character slot and doesn't belong in the game." And, my personal favorite: Whenever I win and the other guy goes all elitist and tells me how I'm the real loser for playing a dumb anime game and how I would never stand a chance at a REAL fighter like Marvel or Street Fighter. Good times.

Do we have any idea on whether or not Lambda has the Sector Seven VS theme?
-
Can't say I've ever gone into OD with that specific purpose in mind, but sometimes I use it when scrubs try to counterattack rather than block or run away when they have the chance. Like, "Dufaq? U serious, bro?"
-
I think it does that already if Terumi's in OD.

Chill bra. I ain't tryin to deny anything you said or anything, I just find it odd how their relationship fluctuates. Then again, I guess you can say the same thing about the GG cast in general. Like you said, fighting game stories. One thing that got me curious. I-No wonders aloud why The Orginal didn't contact That Man directly, instead of using Axl as a messenger. I have to wonder about that too. Is there a specific reason as to why he couldn't? If so, why didn't he try to use I-No instead? He gave Axl the message while he was wondering in the Post-Doomsday timeline where I-No usually hangs. It couldn't have been that difficult to find her.
-
The dialogue in Axl's arcade seems to indicate that I-No saved Axl entirely on accident (He fell into some sort of spell/trap/net I-No had set up. For whom and what purpose? No idea). And she does try and kill him until he manages to get out "Hey, I have a message for That Man from The Original, stop hitting me!" What is I-No's true relationship with Axl? Does she hate him, or secretly care for him? Is she a closet Tsundere? A weird subverion of a Yandere? THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW! I-No objective for XRD's story seems to be "GTFO of this stuck time, don't wanna end up like ol'Terumi." Considering she seems to have gone through this many times already, I doubt she's going to be picky about any hope she can find.

If there's one thing I want for CP2 Terumi, it's for the super counter to stop being so fucking worthless. Really, that shit's only good for online trolling, and even then it's super wonky. Wouldn't mind some other things we REALLY need ether. ASW hear our pleas, Make Terumi super OP.
-
Conzidering ASW schedules with new games, I have a feeling we'll be getting CP 2 long after Ultimax and XRD've been released. It'll give me something to look foward to, anyway.

FUNImation's picked up Alter Memory for a North American release. Can't post the link due to mobile, google search it.

This coming from the guy who I could've sworn was saying "Bedman works for the Senate" long after his arcade story had him specifically say he didn't. Also, considering the fact that I-No uses her "Pissed off" voice set in matches against Axl (The only other person she does this with is Sol), I'd say she is very much not fond of Axl. At the very least, she doesn't like him acting perverted towards her. Which is pretty fucking weird for I-No but what can you say?
-
Same thing was said about the Ultimax lokitests. There's nothing to worry about.

Do you prefer the English or Japanese voices?
Master Of Chaos replied to Grimsley-San's topic in Zepp Museum
It depends on the work in question. Generally, I find that both the Japanese and the English dubs for ASW games are godlike. If I had to have a preference though... BB: It's a tie. I really couldn't tell you which I think is better, because they both are just that outstanding. I have my favorites of course (You will never hear me say anything bad about Erik or Doug, but Nakamura IS Yuuki Terumi-He was MADE for that role), but I can play with ether language on, and often switch whenever I feel like it. Persona: English cast all the way. They've been rockin it since the first version of Persona 4, and are, in my opinion, one of the best examples of a top tier English Dub in anime history. I would go as far as to say that it tops the Japanese dub in terms of performance (Not that the Japanese cast aren't great, because they are). I'm a bit curious about some of the recasts for Ultimax, but Atlus has their shit together when it comes to this sort of thing. I'm sure it'll be fine. Guilty Gear: Japanese, baby. It might not be fair to stack it up against the one game in the series that has an English dub track, but I've come into the series on Japanese voices and that's how I'm going to go at it til it dies. I'm not against an English cast for XRD, in fact, I welcome it. But these guys are the actors that I've known since I joined the GG fandom, they know exactly what they're doing, and are pretty much a shoe in to give a solid performance. You may commence with the lynch party -
It's like asking when people will stop bitching about Ragna. The answer is "when they stop eating Inferno Divider." Basically, never. Main character privileges, yo.
-
If we can't stomp anymore I will cry tears of blood while punching the nearest Ragna player in the face. It's really weird how we're getting almost no info on him though.
-
I love just how much people are flipping their shit over Lokitest footage. The amount of salt is delicious. Remember Ultimax tests? If you weren't named Narukami, you were worthless. Game gets released in arcade, everyone turns out fine more or less. A good portion of these changes are guaranteed to be taken out of the final version, don't jump ship yet.
