Makoto is boring because she doesn't have anything in particular going for her (Though the nerfs don't help ether). The difference between character power shouldn't be astronomical, because then NO ONE has fun as one character steamrolls everyone, but having them all around the same level is just boring. Having distinct strength and weaknesses is what makes fighting games fun. Anyway no more of this cause we're going off topic and it's way too early for judgement calls. BACK TO WAIFU HYPE GOGOGOGOGO~!

No one's talking about Celica being broken or OP. At least, not right now. Kokonoe was total bullshit pre-patch, anyone saying otherwise ether hasn't played the game enough or are fooling themselves. Near infinite blockstuns, nonsense damage, total arena control and teleport shit for days. Also what's with that plug that Celica keeps using for Minerva? Don't remember that being a thing. Then again, I don't remember Minerva being anything other than a Nirvana pallet, so...

From what I've seen in the video, both Celica and Minerva get hit. I fear for what Terumi has in store for her in his win pose. You know it will contain brutality of some kind.

Celica's theme sounds awesome! I was expecting something super cutsy or some nonsense like Active Angel, but it's got a nice, unbeat rock feel to it instead. I can't wait to hear the full, uninterrupted version.

Looking at the video, it appears Celica heals herself. Seems like Celica and Minerva play completely as one character, with no need for management over the puppet.

Regarding the medical mishap-subplot, Zato gives us the order of events as this: -Faust proposed a new and unapproved technique to save a dying girl. This technique had a crucial secret regarding the resurrection of life. -The Senate, or someone with higher authority than Faust who was working for the Senate, denied Faust permission to use the technique. The girl died as a result. -The Senate hired Zato to take care of Faust sometime afterword, but due to circumstances, this didn't happen (Most likely due to Faust becoming Baldhead and Zato's imprisonment). This doesn't match up with Faust's XX ending with Venom. I can only think of three distinct possibilities that make sense: -The PWAB's involvement with Faust's incident has been retconned and thrown out the window, having been changed to the Senate being the ones responsible. -Zato's memory is fuzzy due to his recent resurrection and he doesn't remember the full details. -The PWAB is still involved, but in a different way then described before, and the full explanation was kept short for Faust's arcade story and saved for the Story Mode on console release.

I don't remember any actual evidence that he was working for the Senate, only rumors. In any case, pretty sure that info from the actual game is pretty damning.

Bedman himself he's not working for the Senate, only that's his employer is a human.

Where did this come up? I don't remember that in any of the arcades.

Celica is here. The dream is real. I've needed a new character to fill Jin's spot in my roster anyway, since I haven't been playing him all that much anymore. I'm interested to see how they will differentiate Lambda from Nu, but I'm not too interested. Never could get a grip on those Murakumo characters.

There's always a story reason involved, I suppose we'll have to wait for that explanation.

That's a very good question. She's suppose to be a total pacifist, so it'll be interesting to see how Mori gets around that.
