Well in terms of damage going up or down, I think it's only natural that it's confusing because you can interpret the statement different ways. You can interpret "Increased P1" to mean they increased the effects of damage scaling, which means damage went down, or you can interpret "Increased P1" to mean they increased the numerical value, which means damage went up. We'll find out which way the damage went when people get some more hands-on time with the patch. Personally, I think it went down though.
-
Oh, okay I see. So, it'll only affect damage. That's good to hear. Thanks for clearing that up guys.

It's hard to say for sure since high level footage of Labrys is few and far in between but I'd say Labrys is more or less the same except with better pressure options. The universal addition of new dash and hop cancellable normals gives her more options. They're particularly good in red axe for building chip damage. I'm hoping they'll be good in lower axe levels for building the axe meter as well. That said, they're still vulnerable to mashing if you're getting too predictable so it's not too good an addition to her pressure but still a good and very welcome addition. The new orb/bubble/Hojuu doesn't seem that useful in neutral since it travels at IAD height instead of down on the ground. We've seen some potential for it in combos but I haven't seen any of those combos work their way into regular gameplay with Labrys yet. So overall, still the same Labrys we're playing now but with better pressure options. Still room to grow though. I'm curious to see if SB Beast could potentially make Yellow Axe more threatening personally. And I would love to hear the current thoughts of top Labrys players like Purepure. This is just my assessment though.

I see. Follow up question from the noob that isn't 100% sure he understands proration! What effects would having more P1 on our jump attacks cause? I think it means lower damage and maybe some combos might not work anymore but I'm not 100% sure.

That's interesting. I wonder how much armor it has now. Might be good in a few situations.

Don't leave us hanging, Sam. What's he saying? I hope they didn't ninja nerf us ;.;
-
Ah, I see. Thank you for the correction. Guess they just wanted to make 3C easier to low profile stuff with then. But the change to the head attribute is a bit strange/worrisome. Guess we'll just have to see how it turns out.

Thanks for the 3C translation, SoWL. Loving both of these projectile invul buffs.
-
Something happened to 3C and it's even on her list of changes on the official site but it's missing from the SRK translation currently.

For completeness, here's the Bullet changes. Source Heat Up Level 2 – The flickering aura has been adjusted, it now appears much darker 5A, 2A – Improved attack hitbox 5C – Can now be charged. The charge version performs as the current one does, the uncharged one is smaller in movement Jump B – Jump B can now be canceled into Jump A Crush Trigger – On ground hit, it causes stagger. On air hit, it causes a wall bounce. Miquelet Capture – Increased damage. Until the attack ends, the attack is now projectile invincible Black Out – Activation is now “Requires Level 2 Heat Up” instead of “50% Heat Gauge” Loving the buff to projectile invincibility to Capture. I think the change for 3C is missing from this list though. I remember reading in my google translate that it got a similar invincibility buff.

Nu Valentine is pretty sexy. So is Char Parasoul. Actually, I like all the new Parasoul colors, lol. Poison Ivy and 90s Jean Grey Parasoul were also pretty neat. Welcome to Montreal, Chupon. I hope you're enjoying the city. I look forward to seeing your Potemkin around Foonzo. Don't worry much about sucking at BB. I'm sure after a few months at Foonzo and that problem will be fixed ^,^ -
Yes, it is. It got confirmed in the comments of the PS Blog post for BBCP

Rachel changes for the new patch. Source 2C – On a ground hit, it cannot be techable until the electricity has finished, also adjusted how far people are blown away and the untechable time Impish Gypsophila – Can now only be moved four times. The hitbox now appears while the projectile is moving. Barrel Lotus, Beelze Lotus – Slower to start up and move, but now lasts longer. Attack data has been adjusted

Thanks SoWL! We wuv you!

Nope but I only checked before I left for work. Some people have them but quite a few people don't have them yet. There is however like 62,000 messages to send though so they're probably sending them out in waves. Also, damn it, Reyn. Don't find me in the credits before I have a chance to find me in the credits, take a picture and then circle my name and draw a bunch of smily faces in MS Paint for my own amusement! lol -

Reyn, Dom, I was browsing Skullheart and found this nifty video made by a community member that highlights the most important changes in SG Encore. Be sure to check it out before you play SG Encore today! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMGwwEsOobo&feature=youtu.be -
