  1. Looking over her command list, I'm leaning more towards another command normal like the new 2H but I guess only time will tell.
  2. I'll definitely appreciate the simpler alternative since my execution isn't the greatest. A few quick observations from ElvenShadow in the main the news thread that I thought I should leave here.
  3. Making a mental note: Buy more things from Kirbster ^,^
  4. Depends on everyone who can make it on Sunday? I don't care which day really. I just need to know which day since we have 3 meetup days, lol.
  5. I'm all for getting everything settled as early as possible. Next meetup as in next Thursday? For Evo? It's July 11-13
  6. Nah, it's way too late for me to get ready for Evo from a competitive standpoint. I need at least another 3 years to even get decent at this game. My plan is to get knocked out early so I can watch all the other hype matches and go hang out with the SG community and Lab Zero if they're there.
  7. I'm definitely down for going to Evo. I was packed and ready to go before you all woke up and got out of bed this morning, lol. Just need to plan the journey.
  8. Looks like we've got another patch coming next Thursday. Looking at it through Google translate seems to be just bug fixes. Pretty sure Chie's level 3 Power Charge SB Air Rampage bug has been dealt with but best to wait for proper translations as always.
  9. 1/11 BLEED皆月vs空シドシャビ、まっどクマ Stream Archive Post features 3 videos of Sorashido vs Bleed (Sho)
  10. Shiozawa vs Gunso (Aigis) Part 1 Part 2 Shiozawa vs Kameten (Yosuke) Part 1 Part 2 Also, 1/11 BLEED皆月vs空シドシャビ、まっどクマ Stream Archive Post features videos of Bleed vs Sorashido (S.Labrys [Asterius]) Bleed vs Mad (Teddie)
  11. Not going to comment on MvC2 because I don't know much about it but comparing GG to MvC3 isn't a good example to prove your point. MvC3 is a fast game but has significantly less emphasis on neutral, having to deal with pressure and even knowing what the other character is capable of when compared to GG. In MvC3, you could go into training mode and grind out high damaging combos and do decent when you try to transition into fighting other people by just converting random hits. You might not win but it'll still feel like you actually had a chance or you accomplished something and that little bit of positive reinforcement will be enough to keep people going, at least a little while longer. In GG, you could go into training mode and grind out high damaging combos and then you'd proceed to get wrecked because you never bothered to learn anything that actually matters. At which point, you will probably proceed to either call the game BS or not for you and move on to another game.
  12. I have to say, after seeing that footage of Valentine, I'm all about Ram-chan right now. Maybe not as much as I am about Baiken but I'm still pretty impressed. Hopefully she becomes a time release character.
  13. Not sure about 50/50 mixups in particular but in terms of oki pressure that makes your opponent cry, Carmine feels like the way to go so far. That said, Seth's oki also seems really good. I can't remember which video it was exactly but one of the recent videos posted in this thread over the last month had a really good Seth player who completely blew me away with his oki pressure. As SoWL said, Orie also has some potential in this area because of her move where she summons her persona-like thing that generates a forcefield. The regular one is only one hit but the EX/super one is multiple hits and allows for multiple mixups.
  14. From what I understand, she's only an opponent in arcade mode.
  15. I think normal Sho might have slightly better pressure too. Half because of his high speed movement and dodge specials and half because Persona Sho having some of normal Sho's specials turned into rekkas instead. But yeah, other than what you talked about already, that seems to be the only advantages of normal Sho over Persona Sho
  16. S. Akihiko Combos
  17. 1/26/2014 CW Ishibashi Chie vs Narukami Chie vs Aigis Rakutangeki vs Maguyama (Yosuke) Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5
  18. *comes crashing in* My Skullgirls radar went off. Who's talking about Skullgirls without me?!?!?!?! If we go to the Ottawa event, I'd definitely be down for Skullgirls. I'm ALWAYS down for Skullgirls
  19. Before I was just a "good" person. Then he found out I played the Ar Tonelico games and now I'm a good person and I agree, lol. I used to have one and I pretty much played all the Gust games on that. Some I even played 2-3 times like Ar Tonelico 2 and Mana Khemia 2, lol. I think I've played all the Gust games on PS3 too except Atelier Ayesha, which I've been putting off for forever since I heard its more relaxed on the time restrictions than the previous Arland trilogy. tl:dr, Gust needs to make a Mana Khemia 3! (Not sure how I came to this conclusion at all, lol)
  20. um, I'm pretty sure Narukami's DP can be punished 100% of the time by crossing over to his other side and Mitsuru's DP can be punished 100% of the time by punishing her before she touches the ground (None of her supers are Air OK). This is just my opinion but yeah, Yosuke's DP is pretty good. Not the best but still among one of the better ones. Chie and Yosuke DP are pretty much equally as good but not quite as good as Narukami and Mitsuru's DP. I'd actually rate Chie's DP a little lower than Yosuke's DP because its easier to trigger her counterattack in ways that she'll just completely whiff.
  21. Guess I'll hang out here until Baiken manages to find her way into this game. Wouldn't hurt to have a sub. Anywho, here's a link to Suzaku's Translation of May's Character Page to supplement the info in the OP.
  22. Thanks for the matches yesterday WakeUpDP. The Relius MU struggle ;.; Starting to get a lot more comfortable with it though. Thanks for the one match, Brice. I saw my opportunity while you were all trying to figure out the rotation and I took it, lol. Got to see lots of good matches last night too. Feels like it's been ages since I've seen Brice's Tager and DarkWolf's Bang. Kaeru, thanks for the sexy sweater. I will treasure it always ^,^ Also, that Ar Tonelico conversation took me completely by surprise, lol. Now I have a craving to play a Gust game. Anywho, see you guys Sunday!
  23. I'm very curious about this Bullet change, especially with respect to the Nu MU. Guess I'll have to wait to hear more about these changes. EDIT: Forgot to say thanks for the summary of the article Sourenga!
  24. Dom, you can do Bullet's 100% super for only 50% if you are in Heat Lvl 2 now. That's a pretty nice buff, imo, considering how much damage it does. I want to hear more about this buff to one of her command grabs though. Also, I think everyone playing this game can agree that Bang desperately needs an FRKZ song buff :P
  25. DerQ, you're a god for bringing these tweets to my attention. ^,^ Heartless, Kokonoe just keeps getting better. And I'm speaking about how cool her moves look here, not balance.
