There are three types of emblems. Character select: sides cut off. Full version: same resolution, sides not cut off. Piecemeal: for 3D effects. The emblems are cut into their individual pieces.

I haven't uploaded those because they're not all ripped yet. Also they're the same resolution as before, so if you're expecting better then you'll be disappointed. The Story Mode backgrounds are the best I can do. They're on the first page, as well.

Sorry I didn't make it today. Got sent home from work last night thanks to some weird nerve pain that keeps making my leg go limp. It was hitting me off and on all night, didn't get any sleep. Just woke up around 7. I'll try to make the next one. Don't know if the guy I know from work made it out or not.

Extracting: Hipster. Instructions on the page. Editing: Photoshop. Repacking: ????. No one has made a repacker that I'm aware of. Are you talking about the PC version of Calamity Trigger? I can't guarantee that Hipster will work with those PAC files. But you can try it! If it doesn't work, then you're boned, unless you know how to work with QuickBMS or something like it, which should also allow you to repack them later. Also bear in mind that stages are 3D, so unless you're going to rip the stages and replace their models with flat planes, you're gonna have a hard time making proper 2D backgrounds. Actually the entire game is 3D, the character models are just flat planes with sprites applied.

Is there something wrong with the existing download? Because it works over here.

I can't get the Character Select .pac file to open, so not any time soon, I'm afraid.

If you mean the purplish-red thing that extends from almost-the-left-side to almost-the-right-side, those are the "wings" of Ragna's emblem that fold up in the merged SOI/Black Beast emblem. It is not a new emblem, the SOI/BB emblem just fades from purple to reddish. Just check the pattern, and compare them to the "wings" on the right side of Ragna's emblem, pointing downward.
