Gao uploaded some S.Junpei combos and a match Vs. S.Narukami.
-
Hum, really? Jakou feels perfectly normal to me. Look at the input in training mode and practice.
-
GameStop got their shit right at least! BestBuy was right about Rise though, Ken might be a thing in the future.
-
I think he's talking about 00:14. Probably just Officer Kurosawa.
-
Eh, Sho's portrait is really weird for some reason. lol
-
Putin just listed some combos he found above.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that you can't connect anything slower than a 5A/2A after 236C now? This is so sad, it seems we have to go for a S combo time with Gasaishou damage now.

It doesn't work! Is it just me? Everytime I try to like a post, I get the error: "You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day". The only problem is, I never liked any posts! I tried to sign out and see if it worked once I got in again, but no luck. Any ideas?

HOMERUN! Tadadada! Homeruns are pretty easy to understand, you get one Run for every Base filled plus Junpei. Which means: No Base: 1 Run 1 Base: 2 Runs 2 Bases: 3 Runs 3 Bases: 4 Runs It's very important to get Homeruns and maximize your Runs as much as possible. That way you can activate Victory Cry sooner, deal more damage and recover more HP/SP. Only SP Skills can score Homeruns, that means you must spend at least 50 SP to get one. They are similar to Clean hits, Junpei must hit them with specific spacing to make it work. They're overall easier though since it's pretty much guaranteed if you use them after Sweep, 236A/B or j.236A/B. The exception of the rule is his Awakening SP Skill. It's a bit hard depending on the version you use. The C version makes Trismegistus fly back slower, which makes it easy to confirm the Homerun. D and SB versions are faster, which makes them harder. If you do get it though, the damage you get is doubled! It's also important to finish every round you can with a Homerun. That way, you can get extra runs for the next round. Don't forget that your bases will reset between rounds, that's why you should try to finish them with a Homerun.

CLEAN HIT! Cling! Now that you know how to get Runs and activate Victory Cry, let's learn how to use Clean hits. Clean Hit is Junpei's strongest weapon and can only be used while in Victory Cry. It makes bat moves deal more damage, more hitstun and even adds different properties like wall bounces or slides. It's possible to Clean hit with every attack that uses Junpei's bat. That includes his B normals, Special moves and SP Skills. You need to hit your opponent with specific spacing to make it work. You'll see the word "CLEAN HIT" on the screen if you get it right and the sound effect will also change. Now let's see what Junpei gets if he Clean hits his attacks: B Normals: More damage, added hitstun. B+D: More damage, added hitstun, can be special canceled, opponent wall bounces if close to corner (possible to continue combo). 236A/B: More damage, added hitstun, opponent will fly higher (possible to continue combo). 214A/B: More damage, can be special canceled, added hitstun, opponent will slide forward (possible to continue combo or apply okizeme with 5D in the corner). 236236A/B: Added hitstun, opponent will slide forward (possible to continue combo). 236236C/D: Added hitstun, opponent will slide forward (possible to continue combo). It's very important to get consistent with Clean hits and learn how to confirm combos from them!

There's too much combos in those videos, they're not all Fatal counter starters or corner only. That's the main reason I asked if someone who plays the character could do a breakdown and see what it's practical or situational. He covers all kinds of confirms, it would be interesting to see on paper what she really gets off of those. I wouldn't call them "gimmicky" though, Fatals after Fear are situations you need to be ready to convert into damage as Elizabeth and Damosu shows all kinds of ways to do that. What if you do hit a naked j.236D in a match and drop the combo because you don't know exactly how to follow that up?

P4U2 1.10 - Elizabeth Combo Compilation by Damosu (YouTube) http://youtu.be/LxXK8zFcSQw http://youtu.be/ywhvmEWqK4U He basically just recorded a huge amount of combos. Maybe someone can put the optimal ones with resources used and damage in the combo thread? Or pastebin, idk.

Well, practice and you'll get the hang of it. No secrets. It definitely needs some timing when compared to normal dashes if you want to keep going forward or backwards while the stance is active.
-
To be honest, that would be perfectly ok. I mean, it's a [6]4 counter after all. The reward is pretty nice but I don't think it would be "broken" to let her combo off of it.

00:18 - Why did you Sweep there? Was it a mistake? Anyway, you can get away with jumpback in this part against most Akis unless they, y'know, adapt. Jumpback will get you out of basically every meterless option he has except for Sweep. 00:20 - You lost a bit of damage here. Should've used Hook A into Corkscrew B. 00:33 - Lost damage and knockdown here. Normally, when I confirm Kill Rush B or SB, I go for Duck > B+D > 5B > 2B > j.A > j.B > Assault Dive A. You can go for 5AA > Sweep > 236A > 6B if you want more damage after B+D. You don't get knockdown though. 00:51 - Should've went with 5B to punish that Cyclone Upper. For some reason you were pressing 2A like crazy there and even missed Kill Rush SB. Calm down. 01:17 - Second time you tried to 2B after a B+D CH. That doesn't work. If they tech, they'll punish your 2B since you'll be recovering from it. In general, you can't combo from a B+D even when it's a Counter if they're on the ground. If you get them in the air though, you have time to combo with either 5A or 5B. 01:26 - Don't ever use Kill Rush SB after Sweep. You'll lose the opportunity to go for B+D even if you hit them since they'll be airborne already. Don't waste your meter with that. 01:37 - Pay attention to your meter. If you don't have 100 SP to Maziodyne > OmC then it's better to just Guard Cancel if you want to get out of pressure. 02:06 - That was Hook A Fatal? Midscreen, I usually go for: Duck > B+D > 5B > 2B > j.B (1) > j.214B > Duck D > 6B (Meterless) or Duck D > Hook A > Duck C > B+D > Cyclone Upper (50 SP). In the corner, you can go for Duck C > Weave C > B+D > Sweep > 236A > 6B (Meterless) or Duck C > Corkscrew A > Cyclone Upper (50 SP). 02:09 - Corkscrew fatal midscreen: 2B > j.B > 2B > j.B > 5AA > Sweep > 236A > 6B. tl;dr - Use more 2B and learn combos from it, it's good. - Confirm your combos, practice them. - Calm down. - I made a video long ago with really basic combos you can start with.
