  2. My feelings exactly. P4U story mode was like reading the first chapter of a book 5 times in a row and then going to the second chapter.
  3. That's not good is it? I mean, sure, I want the NA version to come soon but what about the region lock? If the releases are close, there's reason for Atlus to ruin lives again. Well, anyway, Rise looks good. I hope that she says "senpai" 90% of the time and I'll sub Junpei.

  9. Oh yeah, I have a question regarding the changes too. Can anyone explain the Maragidyne buff? "Thanatos will come back to Liz after the move", what difference does it make? A friend of mine that plays Liz said that when you end a combo with j.C and go for Maragidyne, Thanatos will use the move where he used j.C. He said that this buff will fix that and make Thanatos use the move behind Liz. Is that correct?

  11. I think that's all guys. This "new version" is pretty much just to add new characters (hopefully that's a thing). I wanted exactly 6 things out of this patch: Buffs to Elizabeth, Junpei, Labrys (Check) and nerfs to Narukami. Aigis and Teddie (No check). Well, the nerf on Issen/Cross Slash and Heavenly Spear are important things since they were really powerful options, but still, I wanted more. They will still be too strong even without said options. As for Teddie, he was kinda nerfed and buffed at the same time, so whatever. Anyway, I hope the weaker characters can be more viable after the patch. Elizabeth might hurt you again with a better neutral when compared to the first game, Junpei's Regen buff might be very good as well and Labrys' Green Axe/Hojuu buff are pretty interesting to say the least.

  14. Yeah, I agree. The tier list won't change for the most part but things should get better overall. The only big thing I'm expecting is to see Liz get out of her own tier. As for Shadows, I wonder if this HP buff will make them viable. I mean, they put "a lot" in the notes after all, if they get for example, 5k more HP, it would be like an Awakening mode already. Their only true weakness would be the lack of Burst.
  15. Chie wasn't top tier in 1.00 though. This patch seems good so far even though there aren't that many changes. The weakest characters only got buffs and Narukami was slightly nerfed. I won't lie though, I'd like to see more adjustaments made to him and Aigis.
  16. The old Hojuu used to pass above everyone's heads. It was pretty useless outside of combos. Maybe with this change (the projectile going down) she might be able to apply okizeme with it.
  17. Updated the wiki a bit more. Now I just need to put the rest of the normal moves, describe them, fix some descriptions and finally wait for frame data/better pics.
  18. To be perfectly honest, it's just a 5A +1. Something we already had to deal with in P4U. Something we can IB and make it -1. I'm not saying it's "fine" but c'mon, you guys should be complaining about the 5C buff.
  19. Of course they didn't use it, it wasn't worth it. It was slow, it didn't travel enough distance and it was fatal counter recovery. And all of that was addressed in the patch, kinda. Which makes me wonder if she can occasionaly use her meter to get out of pressure this time around. She lacks decent defensive options, it would be something to look forward to.
  20. Hey guys. What about Quick Escape? I always thought this mechanic would be a life saver for Liz and look, it was buffed! If you don't remember what it is, it's basically a Guard Cancel with Roll instead of an attack.
  21. Junpei Changelist (v1.10) 5AA: Faster startup. Opponent will be forced to block if they blocked 5A. 2C: Can cancel into 5C. 2D: Faster startup, shorter total duration. j.C: Increased untech time. j.2D: Reduced recovery. Super Push Bunt: Reduced recovery. Victory Cry: Each time you get 10 runs, HP and SP Recovery will increase. ... NERFS!? CAN'T SEE 'EM!
  22. I love what I see about Akihiko and Junpei! To be honest, I was worried about these notes but this is definitely better than what I expected. I really like the Guard Cancel QE buff too. This game needs good universal defensive options since regular Guard Cancel isn't that good. Sad to see Chie's 5A plus on block again, though.
  23. I did some wiki work... I guess. I wish I had some frame data to fill all those moves though. It's sad that I can't upload any pics too. Will probably fill Strategy and Combos later.

  25. Now that you guys mentioned, Rise does make sense this time around. There's no "plot" to kidnap her. Here's hoping that they make a good job with these new designs. (if this is all true anyway).
