People "play" GG at AX? P.S. My bouncing boobies av > Free's bouncing boobies av.
-
Speaking of Kishya (or Kisha? I dunno), his team won the block qualifier for SBO, btw. So looks like your option of teaming up with H.H. is still open if you still wish to pursue that route...
-
And now we return to your regular scheduled viewing of "Theory Fighter"...
-
So just because Hakumen wins several matches out of 298374928743928347 versus the top 3 he suddenly has a fighting chance? I would like some of what you're smoking. IIRC you essentially said the same shit back when KZO beat Ogawa for one match...
-
...No. This move is completely useless. Don't bother with it. Never mind the fact that this move is done in like 99% of all match vids of competent I-No players. Or do you want to be called "cheap" by the people you play?
-
Best way to get Chaz (and fucking Hellmonkey) posting in here out of the blue; mentioning money matches. Only on SRK..err... dustloop. Come to think of it, this is like the most activity the I-No forums has ever seen in a while. buckle: Anyone can win one game; it's fucking AC. Winning one game can be a fluke. Winning more than one means shit is for real. But if you want to play 1 game 3/5 rounds for $5 or $10, okay then. Chaz: I'm down. Hope to see you at Evo!
-
3/5 for $50. Either at Evo this year or if you ever come down to SoCal. Are you gonna back out? Edit: I could lower the stakes if you're not that confident in your skills...

FYI there's a difference between having prior Eddie experience and having prior REAL Eddie experience. For all we know, your prior Eddie experience could just be you vs. CPU Eddie on Maniac or you vs. a crappy Eddie, so that wouldn't really count (which really shows in that vid of you vs. magz, but it's only one match, so who knows). Bottom line: Kinda hard to help you when you deflect some criticism with blanket statements like the above.

Been a while since there's been any American I-no vids, so some vids of yours truly taken this past weekend: TGS vs. ajinkris (VE) (formerly known as MCR): Part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qubd-5Y9PJI Part 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rL1UHuRa4WE TGS vs. Lokanas (MI): Part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rdHQFwDqhQ Part 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o266h1g-op8 TGS vs. Psylocke (MI): Part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X01dJ-Yypc Sorry if the sound is off on some of them...

Zinac finally translated V-13's frame data. http://rclacas.googlepages.com/v13.html
-
We should revive Team Empanada just to challenge Team Espada at Evo if they come for the lulz.
-
How about using Twitter? :3
-
So uh, yeah. Hope this mech-loli isn't broken... Edit: V-13 Frame Data translated (thanks to Zinac): http://rclacas.googlepages.com/v13.html

Jo: Lol, sorry. I had to try to "noobify" the May guide on the May forums for someone who's completely new to Guilty Gear in general. That May guide sure as hell is NOT beginner-friendly.
-
If it's not Koichi, then your topic is misleading. It should read "Who is the second best I-No player?"
-
You can 1-frame jump out of a blocked 5H, H STBT and get punished hard. Even if you FRC it, they're likely coming down on top of you with an attack (and we all know how terrible I-No's anti-airs are), or already have air-dashed their way away. TK Air 236H? Unless you're doing this as part of her corner combo, don't even bother. Even if you FRC it, it's still a waste. Same shit with her TK Forcebreak; don't even bother unless you're using it as part of a combo. If you're including crappy moves to use "for a surprise or two", there's a big chance that you are NOT a solid I-No player. Hell, if you want "surprise" moves, why not use her Overdrives instead? They're much safer and have better payouts... 6H is a terrible poke. 2H is much better instead. Or hell, even 5S(f) is better. Duh. Not to mention she has the 2nd-best airthrow range in the game so that's a moot point... That only works if 1) You landed it up close in the opponent's face, and 2) Your opponent can't mash out of staggers. Unfortunately, both don't happen as often, so a much better alternative would be: 5K, HCL The above is virtually unmashable and works all the way to 5K's max range, plus you get a knockdown. And if you have 25% tension, then you can extend the above combo to: 5K, JI HCL FRC, airdash, combo The possibilities are endless... Again, only works when you're way up close to your opponent, and even then, the pushback of H STBT may even make that close 5S turn into a far 5S when you don't want it to. Again, only works when you're way up close to your opponent, and even then, the pushback of H STBT may even make that close 5S turn into a far 5S when you don't want it to. Plus, if your opponent can mash out of staggers, the 6P will never connect.

Uh, I've been playing this game for a while now. Where you been? P.S. Stop playing Melty Ass and get on GGPO you fool.
-
Felicia makes me cry. P.S. Fuck you Purrin.
-
I, too, play Vampire Savior on GGPO every once in a while. I'm surprised more people from here aren't on it, especially since the netcode is too fucking good (WC to EC connection is great, assuming both players have good connections), plus you can spectate other people's matches. P.S. Mumm-Ra for life!
-
Uh, you do know that some of those basic combos don't even work on certain character weight types, right?
-
That's an old name I haven't heard of in a while. I haven't seen him around either since the #R days, but I'm sure def1n1tely can tell us what he's been up to lately (I have a feeling he quit fighting games for WoW or real life or something...). BTW, if you let us know beforehand which arcade you're going to, I'm sure some of us will come down to get some games in with you.
-
I was using someone else's stick during that time (note to self: don't use someone else's stick you're not familiar with when using I-No); besides, I just started I-No seriously a couple of weeks ago, and it's Hellmonkey (ab)using top tier . Later vids of my I-No are MUCH better if they ever go up...

This is the most list I've ever seen, and this is coming from someone that has the benefit of having actual competition to play against... If anything, out of the top 3 (Eddie, Testament, Potemkin), her "best" matchup is probably 5-5 against Eddie, while against Testament and Potemkin it's 6-4 or worse in their favor. I don't know where you're getting that I-No vs. Pot is 6-4 in I-No's favor; either your I-No is godlike (which I highly doubt after seeing those Koogy meet vids), or you're playing against terrible Potemkins (which is the most likely case). I'd really like to see your reasoning behind it, especially since I play against some of the best Potemkins on the West Coast and I sure could use all the help I can get...
