I feel what Justice said was stereotyping a bit. Combo length, execution, and how many spacing and character specific combos you need to learn is completely character dependent.

I have to second playing Accent Core +R. Game is only about $15, that's worth about 5-6 months of fun I'd say . The wiki here has everything you need data wise to get started with the game! As far selling the game, that's on a case by case basis. Maybe look up some hype matches to show people if that's what they're into? You mentioned they quit games due to boredom....

Confirming. This should also work with Dizzy Fish, Roger, Zappa Dog, etc. when they appear in the game. I noticed you can hit Ky's glyphs and Bemdan's deja vu mark. Do those eat a hit like the others? Doesn't seem that way....
