  2. lol..................... most of the cast can if not all. IB give you frame advantage and BD has Invul.... even with litchi large air hit box she can backdash fine. You know if Noel can backdash 4dd she should be using 5d to smash into large why would anyone give her a free combo >.> Let see math. 5DD lvl 3 attack 16+ block stun, Nu cancel on first active frames into 4D. 4D start up frames = 30 frames. 16-30 = 14 frames... you basicly have 14 frames advantage from full screen.... Frame data is wrong somewhere since it doesn't feel like a 14 frames advantage on normal standing block or my math is wrong. lol, thinking back if litchi can IB 5DD she can 6b into free CH. if 4D is 30 frame start up.
  3. I will try some maths. 5D is a level 3 attacks which is 16+ block stun. If we assume nu can cancel 5d on the first frames of 5d on hit add to that that 66 arc pulsar only allows you to cancel to an attack after 27 frames I would say you have roughly 11- frames to of free punished which is the equivalent of standing 5d on block. if all else fails just jump since it comes out in 3 frames plus you will be in the air. if Nu tries to 2c by rights it should whiff and you should punish with a j.landing attack. http://s1.zetaboards.com/blazblue/pages/03#attacklevel This all assume you are able to react within the 27 frames after blocking 5d and inputting a command + the time of your normal’s to execute But let’s add a layer of mind games, do you expect arc pulsar to come after 5d or 5dd or 5dd-> 4dd? if you can truly react to such cancel and mashing doesn't gets you killed by all means try ^^. http://s1.zetaboards.com/blazblue/pages/v13_data/ Don’t mind me when I think you’re failing….     hahah yeah. Our Australian group has pretty much stop playing GG and phasing it out of tourney. Everyone is busy playing Sf4 or the new shinny Blazblu So yes its rather depressing here regulated to a casual game. My number of practise is equal to number of tourney ran these day which are once every month. Hopefully the american scene can keep GG afloat with more vids. bar's are not wasted because slayer kills you, seize the oppotunity.

    Meaty does beats out lots of thing but imperial ray comes out in 9 frames + 4 frames of super freeze frame. incases where necro fails to punish jam 6hs for example is when you're doing it to early. As throw invul is only 24 frames and the start up is 18 frames long. Where necro is has a start up of 9 frame + super freeze frame while its active for 20 frames. 24-20 meaning there's a if you input necro from the 4th frame of jam 6hs u 'll be beaten out. if this is the case inputing necro 9+4 frames and Jam 6hs which from the frame input 18-4 = 14 frame of remaining start up u will beat it out before it comes out leavign you with 1 frame. This asssume everything done on 4th frame of jam 6hs. if jam does a meaty where its 18 frames of start up passes and the next frame consist of active hit nercro will win with full body invul of 14 frames as there is no throw invul. The problem isn't meaty it is delay meaty which are used to beat out reversal. meaty you can punish with reversal necro on 1st frame of wake up.

    I can't help but scream ice spike and imperial with Dizzy vs Axl ^^, if this was a a nico nico vid it would have ice spike runing across the screen. As for Jam 6hs use imperial ray instead as it wil cleanly beat it out. It is rather slow even tho it has weird invul property. and if you're brave you can backdash the first hit of 6hs and throw/SB the 2nd hit. second don't like let jam AD into you too often use 2s/f.s more as AA.
  10. think its good to add the different hit box of each property. 2k hits low but limited in upper hit range where hte range of closer to ground, players you would rather poke with 2p over 2k, As an example Slayer 6k will hop through your 2k if you guess wrong. Self cancel is another factor already mention, against eddie or other summon type you would want fast rapid cancel to (A) beat summons or (B)recover faster. one thing im curious is why would you say using 2p being different to using 2k is you're popping bubbles or doing tick throws. Both will have the same effect and achieved the same outcome.

  13. I disagree V-13 is dizzy incarnated ^^ or potential what dizzy should had been fast summons, large damage and gravity Beside Nu is an adorable name. AC dizzy is terible with low health and stune asily without the large damage, clearly Arc is making things right. rachel? well testament is girly and thats what the developer came up with

    nice to have more people active on forum ^^, how I love discuss dizzy general gameplay but i dont think this thread here is the right one. you correct as in you shouldn't be using 2d in every block string. too much fate unlimited code so its hibitual that I do jcc these day lol. the risk is there but you can frc which is a good mix up in high lvl matches. whether you can pull it off is another matter. as for air pike, I haven't been getting around to use them yet but yeah air pikes jcc are cool. well condition is a factor but yeah when the people you play are your friends which is the GG scene at home... but you're correct in saying so. but yeah curious what are your chances of pulling off air pike jcc curious?

    good time to elaborate on this because the mind game behind gets rather interesting. 2d option follows are simply tk bubble jump and jcc fish summons and IAD backwards or forwards and ice spike 3/5 of those option are unsafe mainly due to opponents reading it as unsafe and dashing 6p in most cases will beat out everything you throw. if fish summons/air spike are 30+ frame action + reovery is quite punished on most by most of the cast. In the right mind people block until there is no blockstun and seize moments knowing there can freely score CH of summons attacks or IAD forwards. with 3/5 chance your oppoent will button to try and punish you it adds favourable odds their action is not to block. The world would be safer place if poeple didn't try to punish Dizzy's 2hs or 2d ^^, which would be the best then I we could just summon freely and not worry about getting hit. And Lastly I believe the notion that a rush down requires a summons is false. While its possibly the best outcome summons itself is an invitation to damage but also an advanateg which allows your opponent to attack. ^^, I just feel dizzy can be both agressive and defensive while being agressive doesn't requires summmons aids. her 2k is good and beats alot of pokes couper with her double AD. very few attacks beats 2k or 5k both outranges alots of pokes in the game its only when people expect them do they do a preemptive attcks.

    CW09 R2 - GG - Ara Ara (ED) vs Lucia (DI) hahah, yeah It were face palm moments with the fail tk but I had to keep trying till it work, its my stubborn side. 1:16: bubbles loops, yeah Suppose doing those would had been the best outcome. but yeah I need to work out a habbit for them in matches they just never come in mind. 1.57/1.58 My intial idea was to go for tech trap which is similar to how my friend slayer likes to tech trap people with 5p, although i thought my friend was going to air FD block which caught me by surprise when he didn't. CW09 R2 - GG - FMer (TE) vs Lucia (DI) As for testament yeah alot of probably mainly due the expiernce of against playing testament matches hahaha. hopefully arcsky will release an online mode for the GG fans. CW09 R2 - GG - Lucia (DI) vs CK (PO) hai hai, I certainly needs to bust my chops learning this again. probably my most unfavourite match up in GG due to pot being gay. but you're correct corner oki is a good way to deal with the match up.

    before I reply I just wanted to add something 2d --> ice spike are delay ice spike timing which you probably didn't notice due to the frame rate of the encoding. Meaning after a 2d hit, ice spike comes at you in 12 frames after example a 24 frame block stun, 2d is a lvl 5 attack hence there are longer cancel time similar to 2hs ice spike shenanigan. Basically he was eating ice spike pushing buttons, those are button attempts at dashing or poking for example which well dizzy is weak ^^ and people like to seize the moments. welcome to the forum? haven't seen you here before ^^

  19. off topic >< Once Blazblu comes out any Dizzy player want to add me to their psn for some matches? I'm dying to play with you guys someday. Most Dizzy player tend to play Nu or rachel atm I wonder what everyone here is going to pick. 2s is special cancelable, I presume you're just inputing it slowly. If you can AA baikens j.hs failing dying you can go into pike easier off counter hit into bubble damage but I wouldn't advise unless you have great confidence in the bubble loop.

Now I feel guilty about not posting on the dizzy forum which is very much neglected these day. ice spike FRC, to do those always attempt them even if you have no bar to pull of the FRC as long as you acquire muscle memory you should be fine in doing them. Get into a habit and it becomes clear when you want to do them then work on the follow up, in the worst case scenario frc dash summon fish. 2d ice spike, to get better at it is to watch your input and make sure you’re hitting all the right keys. you can however delay the ice spike since its main purpose is to bait punisher who think u cant pull them off ^^, remember that the jc is late so you got to time a fair bit or delay the jcc ice spike. The 2d cancel into fish/bubble are easier to do, for simplicity hit up during 2d and enter 214 p/k/s you will get tk bubble or fish depending on your timing of the input. How to play Dizzy well? best advice is to get motivate and imagine yourself kicking ass while you mock your opponents with fish and oki.
  22. the bubble comes out in the 17th frame but no action can be perform until the 23rd frame, something like that ^^, so you can release the air pike to pop it on the 17th frame.
  23. because its stylish !!! lol, TK bubble are less predictable but still reactable, whether an IAD bubble is a given to your opponent who would run and try to 6p, puffball u, BBU ectera. TK ftw, besides that you have jump, AD backwards/forward as an option. jumping is a good oki if youc an do it well.

    THe system only uses the lowest Porate given.. 70<85 it will only porate by 70% not 70%* 85% = 59.5% Let say you do a normal 5k poke.. 100>85 hence you have a poration of 85% on the following combo after ice spike frc. Guard bar also kicks in after each amount of hits. Porate hits works off the first hit of a combo.. so c.s -> 2k does not porate by 70% after 2k. if however 2k has a force porate then the follow combo will be reduce to 70% regardless of the what first hit involved. Well I could be wrong but my friends and I had this debate and came to conclusion the systems only takes the lowest value. Maybe Im wrong If what u say is how it works wouldn't Sol sidewander porate like crap after wild throw? Maybe when I have time I just do mutiple frc ice spike loop and see what happens.
