I like how she's got spikes all over her outfit. I just wish it wasn't so monochromatic. If she's as silly as Bridget and May then I'll have a ton of fun beating up the rest of the cast with such an entertaining looking character. Especially if the bouquet is her weapon. She looks like a new Valentine to me, but we only have one random image to go off of so far.

For me it's the headgear that does it. Those ear-looking protrusions greatly resemble Ram's hat. So I think she's a Valentine, just going off this one picture.

That's so depressing sounding! I don't see why her persona cards would work any differently than normal. She'll probably have a lot of them though.

More brand new characters! :D Eagerly awaiting the day I know more about her than just a name. Activate swords a lot. Don't stop swinging swords. Make it so that if your opponent decides to move anywhere on the screen at all he gets a sword in the butt for his trouble.

I love how one of Celica's DD's Minerva just tosses her off the screen and does the entire move herself.

Aaaand now I don't know who to play. Too many cool characters. The size of the roster has almost doubled from p4a, not counting the shadow versions. So Toranshi is a pretty crazy move. Someone in the Xrd gameplay thread said that Ramlethal has the best supers in the game and even if explode and Ramma Ray really sucked I'd probably still agree with them. If blocked, Toranshi provides Ramlethal several opportunities to do mixup and even does significant chip (I've seen Karinchu cheese people out of rounds with this XD). It's strong enough to be used as a reliable finisher. IIRC, it keeps going if Ramlethal is hit during startup. Someone compared it to Venom's Bishop Runout, but that move absorbs Venom's set balls, so he gives up some space control for something that isn't guaranteed damage. On the other hand, Toranshi pushes the opponent to the corner if it hits or gets blocked, and sets up Ram's swords in the corner lockdown formation. I like how most people's stages are so lively in the background. You got guards in Ky's army menacingly gripping swords, jellyfish pirates loitering around the mayship, and people with bags on their heads riding floating chairs (?). But not Milia's stage. There's just a bunch of dead bodies in her's.

Speed is a relative thing. Sure he's pretty fast for a grappler, but Wald is a turtle compared to much of the game's cast (like Hyde, who has pretty basic movement) since everyone this game runs really fast. However I think it's pretty cool of them to still give him access to all the basic movement tools (unlike tager who can't double jump...) He moves about the same speed as vatista? Buuuut he usually dies horribly because Akatsuki has more trouble getting in on anyone than any other character, much less Hilda. He doesn't have Wald's massive tube arms to rely on after all. I actually see toranshi used most for a super ender, since it hurts a lot. It's not too hard to drop the extra sword if you have one equipped and if you have both equipped then you get to go for a hype Gamma Ray finish. Sent from my RM-917_nam_usa_100 using Tapatalk

I've actually seen him use all three of her overdrives to end rounds! (either him or Batako) It's really cool because he adjusts the combo slightly depending on how many swords he has when he starts the combo. Ramlethal players have really come a long way since her release. Her corner set ups are really oppressive now.

I suppose he needs to get his strong pressure game rolling quickly, since Ramlethal has no defense, and he should be fine. He's not fast enough to outmaneuver swords and if he plays from far away Ram can just set up. Sent from my RM-917_nam_usa_100 using Tapatalk
