Yeah, and it doens't help that Naoto's R-Action isn't all that great either. I was planning on playing a hit-and-run style with her, but it's really hard to do so when the hitting part happens to you more than it does to the other guy lol. I'm sticking with her anyway. I like her style, but everyone else can derp out wins better. Also, GGs to anyone I've played these past two days. I've had my shares of straight losses (I think something like 8-10 in a row in a couple of spurts :/).

I've done this a good amount of times, with some nice results. I can see people picking up on this tactic pretty soon, but it still funny thing to throw out there every now and then. I also like how it sets up another mix-up since the landing seems to be at about the same time they can tech. Found myself using D Megido > stuff afterwards myself.

I think most of Naoto's normals are lulzy-tier. Somehow though, people like running into naked 2Cs. I don't mind the extra Fate counters it gives me.

It'd be even better if those > +1 block frames were from specific CR moves trololol. I do think 2C needs to go back to +3 though. And on Chamber Shot, I don't see it being + at all since it seems like it's our basic BnB ender. Who knows? Maybe they'll give us something like Bang 623B shenanigans... :x -
Yeah, it was. I was there all 3 days with my brother. He was the Yukiko blowing everyone up, and I was there every now and then with my Red Naoto doing more blowing up if he wasn't there. Most of the people there were new to the anime fighter, so it was fun explaining how stuff worked in P4A and just getting to know the new crowd of interests in general.

People never look at themselves as the problem to fix and find something else to blame for their shortcomings, and in turn don't learn. I've experienced this first-hand with my community which is Capcom-heavy, and someone complained about auto-combos, and this mythical 300+ hit combo that someone's kid did in training mode lol. They should look into the game first and understand what they are getting into before judging it. As for myself, I'm really happy with the exposure the game has created, as the convention I was at this past weekend has many people interested in picking it up. It is a lot faster than BB, but also you need some skill to beat out the ease of the game that some can abuse when just picking up the game. I see it as good practice to bait things, as everyone can rip out a DP or burst in P4U. I'll admit too that I'll abuse auto-combos in the beginning and ends of matches specifically when I need the meter, I know the combo will kill, or silence-comfirm since I play Naoto.

Depends on how the FC Chamber Shot works, if it does get Fatal status. If it midscreen wallbounces, then it'll be crazy good. I'd imagine the P1 on it would be really good to. But alas, only speculation so far. -

Chamber Shot is fine. Personally, I didn't use OpticA much outside of combos. I found myself filling in the space that it could use instead with a 5C to fish for counter hits. -

I'm liking the new 2D change from the aspect of limiting the derp that she had in drive choices. I think this new one might give us an alternate way of getting in through reads if the hitbox on the way down allows for it. -

It's a Crush Trigger of some sort since a chunk of meter was used to do the move. I'm gonna guess it's for Chamber Shot. -

Looks like Bloom Trigger wall-splats instead of wall bouncing now. Might be a really small distance of activation since another combo ended in BT near the corner, but only knocked down. Also, it seems d.6C is much faster now. -

Well, in a way it isn't since you are actually able to do that attack after RB when normally any other attacks aren't possible without RC'ing. Yeah, I was reading something along the lines of Haida getting toned down in the jBBS. -

Looks like they are really emphasizing less long combos that SMP could exploit, and hearing that this might also have the old CT combo system could also be a step in that direction. I'm just happy we have a j.2C that works as a follow-up to RB and as a stand-alone move. Looks like they shift the ranges of Optic Barrel so that A has B range and B has C range, so we still have utility in semi-zoning characters like Tager and Arakune. And they weren't kidding with 2D's arc height. I wonder what kinds of things we can apply with that move. Also, if that 6C(2) > 2D was only speculation, then it's confirmed in the vs. Azrael video. They do 6A > 6C(2) > 2D > SR midscreen. Looks like this will be what replaces old OpticA combos for now. -

I think maybe they completely changed what Optic Barrel A is now. (new animation or something, perhaps?) Dash 6C loss is pretty big for those wall-carry combos, but in a way her neutral is a bit stronger now. -

If what her Overdrive states is true and how her normal drive seems to be in the PV, I can see possibilities of her being able to connect CR moves off non-CH normals in neutral. The speed-up itself is already a big enough buff, but opening up her neutral game is gonna be crazy. -

Kinda like Makoto's "skirt", huh? Looks like she has comp~ I am looking forward to messing around with Bullet. Kinda reminds me of Shen Woo's style in a way with nothing but raw power behind her attacks. Also, I wonder if we can speculate more things based off of their emblems... -

Dammit, they managed to keep Noel's red strings intact... :< And here I was hoping that maybe she'd get a new j.B animation. Also, I don't see Mu as an Unlimited for Noel since the styles are completely different. I could see her as a non-story mode character so no one loses her as a main. -

Extend felt like CS1+ to me, especially as a Noel main lol. Anyway, I was thinking maybe some characters will get EX moves with special follow-up like Fafnir -> Tyrant Rave, and that's where the red background comes in. Also, I noticed Ragna's new scythe move doesn't cause KD on standing opponent, so maybe TK Scythe -> RC tricks. -

Just tested this on CSX, and as soon as the super flash goes off for Devoured By Darkness, the BK meter goes away. Just noticed Jin's low Ice Car/"Freeze Dipper" lol. -

Noel has a knockback special on the ground without going into Chain Revolver now. I'm happy with this addition already. Tsubaki's new distortion also has me intrigued.
