Loving the changes so far. I don't mind a 1000 nerfs for my character as long as the game is getting more intelligent and sticks to the characters' unique playstyles. To me this feels like what AC should have been in the 1st place.

Am I allowed to youtube it? My channel is full of tutorials for many different games. Edit: I can upload more than 15 minute vids, since you mentioned the limitation on the stream. Edit 2: Also consider also making an audio version of the stream for download.

What if you could get what I suggested in 2012, and a new GG only maybe in 5 years after the squeeze all the juice from BB and P4UM? And even then it may be crap.

Buff the low tiers a bit, nerf the top tier a bit, try to fix the worst match-ups in the game, but don't add new shit that could screw things up. And Arcsys games' online work like crap where I live. But you know what works good for our local scene? Games with GGPO.

Copy pasted from a post of mine on SRK which is getting positive feedback so far from various GG players: I gave some thought of the whole "I want a new GG" thing and I hope all you GG players would agree with what I have to say: I don't want a brand new GG in HD graphics or 3D or whatnot, which will probably be ruined by trying to cater to a broader audience. I think the best future for GG would be the "KOF98 Final Edition" treatment. Nesica x live, same old graphics, and delicate balance changes that cater to the current GG player base. (And of course console ports a-la 3SOE) Just give GG the ultimate polished version it deserves. And I will add another piece of important info: Today's consoles can't handle both a game with pretty 3D graphics like SF4/MVC3/Tekken and GGPO-like netcode at the same time. (Unless you plan it from day 0, bust your ass off for it, and compromise on many things.) But a full 2D sprite based game is very GGPO friendly for consoles actually. So it's a win-win situation: We get exactly what we want- A game that's still of quality, and has good online. And Arcsys doesn't have to risk a ton of budget to make it happen. I thought this would be a good place to discuss it, especially since Elvenshadow can actually talk to Pachi... Their next project is the Persona game, so now is probably the perfect time to brainstorm for the future of GG, when nothing is already planned on their part (?)

Hello everyone. I'm just letting you know that I didn't forget our goal- I'm not posting on DL cuz I'm working on a special local project. I've took 6 people who want to learn to play GG and I'm developing a way to make it easier for them to learn the game. It will take a while but I will post a report here when I'm done or halfway. We are having a heated discussion over at SRK which should concern you too. Basically the more veteran members of the community are complaining about the website taking a turn towards the casual side. Catering more to casuals who like to watch more then play. We want to shift the focus back to the hardcore players who strive to improve their game. The way I see it, being hardcore also means being open minded to try more games. Being hardcore also means transferring your knowledge from game to game. Being hardcore also means deciding to play a game based on how good it is and how you like its and not diss on it for its character designs and other stupid reasons. Basically what I'm saying is that while every one of us loves a different game, we are all the same. We are all hardcore players with the same mindset and the same interests. So as I see it, you should be a part of the movement we are starting. Our 1st goal is a modest but important one- To change the front page of SRK (which gets huge publicity) to have less casual content and more hardcore content. This includes non-Capcom fighting games of course! This is where you guys come in. You care about GG and BB? Help us by creating "hardcore" content for those games, and send them to be on the front page. People can play GG with their RL friends if they want to! COME ON! I wrote this long post because I play and love both BB and GG and I really care, and a lot more players do to. I know that some people here are also members of other communities like MB AH Tekken etc. If you could talk about it to key members of other communities it would be great.
