Sorry I've been ghost in dustloop for a while due to my summer job. Basically I've been taking the time to learn how to focus, concentrate on my goals, and get things done so, I haven't been on forums, playing as many fighting games and stuff so I can get my mind right. I haven't given up on this project or the May project, I just needed some time to get things together. After I get everything straight for the Anime Club I run at school, I'ma get with as many guys in Florida as I can. Probably won't see me post in a while cause I got soo much work to do right now.

Ok, I got a few questions for you guys. Basically I'm getting ready to make my own custom stick. I have the design drawn up for the most part, and I just need to start getting to parts so I can see how tangible my idea is. In terms of preference, in stick, I guess Im cool with the Sanwa after what I read in the first part of the thread, plus I prefer the smaller ball stick, other than that, I don't really care as much about what parts I use, so I want some guidance. The major games I play and want a stick for are of course Guilty Gear, but also Melty Blood, and Arcana Heart. I my arcade stick to some what simulate a close comparison to whatever parts are used on most Arcade Cabinets for these games. I want to make an arcade stick that has a close feel to whatever those arcade cabinets are like Do any of you guys know what parts those three games usually use? It might help me better decide on what parts I need :/. Also, any spec information you can give me? Like, whats a good time of wood to work with for the sticks box structure, and how thick should the wood be? Also whats the general size of sticks now of days, I don't know off hand cause theres no one I can borrow it from, but I like the smaller kind, over the Tekken Cinderblocks, I don't need my arcade stick to double as a leathal weapon . If any of you know anyone thats made a stick before, please give me his or her information so I can get a few tips, so I can avoid as many mistakes as possible . Thanks guys :D

Ya know that gives me a better Idear Doomie :p. Right now it seems like I can't mobolize the Florida Guys to well. If you know some cats that would also be interested in Making a collab video, we could scrap the Florida Idea, and Go with a Southern Guilty Gear Collaboration, Including From Texas Across to Florida, and any others that are interested. It depends, pass that idea around to those that are interested. Lets have some fun and do something different around here. Sorry to have diverted the subject, but lmao thats a good one Well right now my main lacking is match up experience cause theres no local gg players that I know of. I usually have to wait for a free weeked to play the cats in orlando. Its summer time now so it should be to bad. I just wanna fight ppl more often so that I wont be in brain fart mode every first 30 minutes of a GG gathering :/

Ok, I didn't wanna clutter up the Florida thread so I decided to make a thread here. For the Florida GG players that didn't know, Im trying to get us together so we can have some fun putting all our skills together and making a combo video that represents the Florida GG community. This link is where I talked about the vid recently and a few ideas, if you haven't already, please read the posts. In one of the posts I talked about two different styles we could do the video in along with a few other nifty suggestions. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96&page=133 For those that are interested, post what character or characters you'd like to contribute combos with. Also please give any ideas or preferences you'd like to have with the video. I believe the best course of action for this video is to contact each other if we can and try to start recording combos as soon as we can. For those that are still thinking up stuff and need more time, theres no rush, I just believe that its best to take the initiative and get things rolling. Everything should fall into place afterwards. Basically, Im rather free on the weekends, and until I start a summer job, I'll be free during the week for the next week or so. I can do recording at my house which is in Deland, or I can do it at a GG gatherin in Orlando or we could do both :p, id actually like the both option, its a fity/fity sorta arrangement. Post whatever pertains to the vid. If its bs from random ppl, Ima try to have it deleted.
