Omg, Im the master of fuck ups, Ive made every possible mistake I could in frustrating me with this technique. I made the same mistakes with May. Here are my fuck up notes. When practicing your 6frc6 make sure you DO NOT! 1) DO NOT Sacrifice accuracy for speed. Make sure you accurately press 6frc6 accurately to the point you know you've pressed it. As long as you have that accurate 6frc6 if the dash doesn't come out its simply a matter of timing, you did it too earlier or too late, I usually do it too earlier :/. 2) DO NOT Hold forward for too long after your HCL. make sure that after you input the HCL 632146.......make sure you let go of forward . By accident many times Ive hit 6frc6 at the right time and nothing happend and I was like WHAT THE FUCK HAX! It was because I accidentally held on to forward too long after my HCL. I did similar mistake with mays force break dolphin combos 4) DO NOT forget to hold forward on the second 6 (if your fucking up). Might not be necessary for some but when Im fuckin up I do better holding the second 6. Ex: 6Frc[6] 5) DO NOT Practice when your frustated. Just made me more pissed :8/: lmao 6) DO NOT Give up Cause all your work will be in vain

AlwayzDizzy used to use that option I think. Theres also the instant forcebreak puff ball somewhere in the loop after one of the 5H(3) so ex: S, 5H(3), 6H, (S, 2S, 6P, or 6k, base on your flavor), 5HS(3), 236S-D (hit it as fast as you would slide your finger from S to HS). I liked instant puff balls cause her dash moves was my favorite move, it was always fun.
-
Oh shit, lol, Xkun01 knows where its at Go ahead on Mario xP.
-
Pretty much everything the others guys said about timing, and also 6p first hit only is the best thing to follow up after the reset of your 6HS cause it doesn't push the opponent back as much as the other hits, letting you loop it again depending on your distance, but out of the rest its hardest, or at least it was for me. When I used to play Jam I would mess up the 6P in the beginning cause my timing was off. I would walk forward a nudge then use it so using 6P get used to pressing it at the right time so you dont move forward at all. If anything 2S is the easiest to put in after say: 6P, S, HS, 6HS (wait till you think shes back to neutral), 2S, then go to town. When working on new combos that may be long or have pieces with hard timing I take it a step at a time. So just try to get the timing on the hit after 6HS and nothin else till your get the confidence/feel of it to make up more. HEY XKUN01! O,,..,,O .

Im really enjoying Ino, I can't put her down, shes like the Lilica of GGAC, shes very input heavy, you have to be precise and have great execution. She aint no joke :p.

She could be :p, Indian, black, hispanic, or Blackanese xD, I just like giving my created characters some color cause I have color . I had so much fun making those colors and taking those pictures. My best friend was trying to get me to watch the new eps of Naruto and I was like...........uh........gimme five minutes, lol, I said that for like 45 minutes xD. Seaside May was my favorite, with Ocean Blue coming in a close second. I love my Hsienko Mays, but blue is my favorite color, so It wins out everytime Some of her coolest poses came from her Line attacks and 5D. I had no Idea until I kept pausing the screen. My personal fav pose that you see in my avatar, is her Line attack from the back ground where she points the anchor and the screen and points at herself saying: "Yeah I know im the shiznits :P" Hsienko May 3's was Line Attack to the back ground. The rest were different poses during her dust animation. Like the Hsienko May 2 which I think is like some badass JoJo Bizarre adventure/ Animeish pose is the very last frame of her 5D.

I remember we talked about favorite May colors a few weeks back and I said I was gonna post em ;p, and since I finally got my laptop back and spring break at the same Time I decided to recreate the two colors I mentioned: St. Aug Pride May and Ocean Blue May. Now that I remember, St. Aug Pride May was really Hsienko May, who had Hsien-ko's color pattern of purple and gold, which were my high school colors. My best friend AlwaysDizzy Nick named her St. Aug Pride May lol. I just ment to take a few screenies but.........>,> I got carried away and accidentally made a gallery xD, I had so much fun doin a buch of poses and takin pictures...:O Pokemon Snap all ova again. I remade the originals and made some modified ones The different colors were Seaside May, Ocean May, Ocean May Light, and Hsien-ko May Heres the link to my little gallery: http://s274.photobucket.com/albums/jj264/Hsien_Jo/?start=all And heres a few of my favs: Seaside May Ocean Blue May Ocean Blue May Light Hsienko May 1 Hsienko May 2 Hsienko May 3 Hsienko May 4: Hsienko May 5:

Revenge on May :8/: wtf? I didn't even do notin D: :8/: . I never fucking fought you xD. Only fighting game I played you in was Melty Blood and like, Maybe smash, but I doubt it lol. But I'll give you a battle anyway :p. You so made that shit up just so you can keep that rival list thing going. Keep your practicing going I know I am

Another good tip for doing the 6frc6. Previously I meantioned that I got it by doing it fast as hell; I was wrong. You shouldn't sacrifice accuracy for speed. Even if your timing is off on the frc make sure to practice thoroughly pressing 6frc6 where theres no doubt in your mind that you pressed that combination. When I do it really fast, I screw up and confuse my fingers and I'm like AAAAAAAAARRRG what am I doing wrong. And sometimes i press 6 6+FRC or 6+FRC, 6+FRC (foward and FRC at same time). It was the same problem I had in trying to charge buffer and jump instal with May during her S, JI, HS,2, VD, frc. Id do it really fast rather than accurately and it probably didn't register cause I didn't press the button all the way down. I was able to get 8 6frc6 in a row from both sides by taking my time just now, so give it a shot, it might work good luck.
-
Your awesome Xkun Its ok brah in the next guilty gear Jam will be more technical and harder to play with, I swear , 6frc6, charge buffering, the works. I promise
-
It is, I have a hold of how to do it now, it just takes practice. If you are fucking up try to make sure you hold down forward on second 6. Cause when I started to actually hold the button down, rather than tap the second 6 it would come out more often. But it is rough though, but if you get it down you can use it with any character that needs to immediately dash out of stuff like May, Venom, Ky, and A.B.A, etc. But the dash may be the hardest part but trying to put together a combo is additionally hard, cause the dash comes out so fast, you really have to be ready for it and time it right. And trying to piece a combo together as you know will fuck up your flow. LIke when Id just practice the dash Id get it out but when id try to make a combo from it id miss, cause its like my timing is off cause im thinking about what to press and that ironically enough fucked up my timing. How do you do that technique? Is there a special way? Or do you just have to manually put it out? I play with Ino on the side now of days cause I wanted to test myself cause Ino really has to work for that damage. Cause now of days some characters seem to have been dumbed down with loops that any other person can do so when I see ppl spam May VD dolphin loops without even knowing May fundamentals, makes me wanna prove that I know how to play this game :/.

You told me he wanted to rape you guys so, Im assuming he wants Xkun's booty . Wants dem KunCakes. XKUN! COVER YOUR ASS! Its all cool xKun01 if you go you got leo and me to back you up so it doesn't matter either way.

I second that, even if you arent going for a tourney, casuals are always fun and a bunch of us May soldiers will be there, so all of us should do somethin fun together when we see each other . This is the way I see it if anything try out for a tourney just for some tourney experience. My first tourney was like a few weeks ago down in West Palm Florida and I hadn't played GGAC since like December sense my hand was recovering from Tendenitis, and we got there late, and I got like 3 causals before I had to go against The dude over the Jam threads in my first match . Needless to say it was a downing feeling, but the overal experience was fun and I got good match up experience that I was lacking and I was able to do better in casuals throughout the remainder of the night as I got a feel for GG again. For tourney rookies like me we have to go to as many as we can to get the beginners jitters out so we wont be as nervous later on. Ill hopefully be at FR for a few games: MeltyBlood (2 on 2 tag team with my bestest buddeh ) GGAC Arcana Heart SSBB Neogeo Battle Collesium KOF Not gonna enter all of the tourneys but I definitely wanna get alot of casuals in. And Man Kyle ive been playin Brawl for the last few days and its so addictive xD! I have The Yoshi of Heaven (Thats what ive called Blue Yoshi since SSB 1 and now he has angel wings so its true now xD) as my Wallpaper right now xD. I still play with my ol' school crew Yoshi, Bowser, Peach, Falco, but the new guys I can't put down are Metaknight, Lucario (Taichi using Blue Fox/Doggie PsychoSoldier wtf thats awesome xD), and Sonic. Interesting notes on that SSBB: From My best friend AlwayzDizzy: -When characters go Final Smash their Eyes are yellow and it scares him -Go to Big Blue (I think its called ya know the Cap'n falcon stage where the cars are racing) with Sonic and give him bunny ears and have fun out running the cars :p -With Snake if you throw a grenade in the air then catch it, your out of that weird grenade mode and have more options since your holding the grenade like a normal item. -You set what songs you want for what stages by going to sound options (The one with the lil music note) -Watch Marios standing animation, he'll do some guards up bouncing motion like hes been there before and knows where its at lmao. From Hsien_Jo: -WTF THE COMPUTER IS SMART NOW! :O on lvl 9 the computer will beat your aaaass, and I actually get aggrivated and complain with the T.V. once or twice lol. -Let a lvl 9 computer get a final smash (more like dont get), like Pikachu or Sonic, they'll, friggin swarm all over you :8/: , Pikachu will do 200 dmg like......everytime.........I couldnt recover after he turned into a neutron star and went ape shit on me, and if your coming back from death Super Sonic will just hover over you till you start moving again -Brawl gives you access to ol' classic games, like Zelda 1, Mario World, Star Fox 64 -Peach skips with her forward walking animation (so cute xD) -Sonic does his ol' school waiting animations when you stand still long enough -Marios down taunt is his death animation from Donkey Kong lol. -Seeing Sheik crawl on the ground is the creepiest friggin thing Ive seen in maybe a year or so :8/: -Instant guards and item catches are easier now? -Why isn't Knuckles in this game :'<

I took a break from gg for about week to play melty blood and brawl, and to rest my hand a bit, but I practiced the things I was workin on with some of my characters like Impossible dust with May, charge buffering with Venom, but when I got to Ino I was like damn, Im at that rode block before you can improve cause I couldnt do the 6frc6. But tried it a different way today and that shit came out :O. I was like WTF??!!. I quickly went to quit and was like fck it, I quit guilty gear (yeah for like 15 seconds xD) that was the peak of my GG career (looooow expectatiiiioons ) I can't do any better than that lol xD. I practiced with May a lil bit more, then zoomed back to Ino and tried it again and I got it out sort of consistently, bout 40% I think. What I think I messed up on before was I got the techniques mixed up. According to that badass Ino instrctional video when you tiger knee a HCL 6frc6, you have some optional time to put in the first 6, but the frc6 has to be on point. For the JI 6frc6 the whole 6frc6 has to be on point. I was doinin the Tiger Knee Method for a JI HCL 6frc6, and I fucked it up every time . I thought about it last night when I was tryin it out and I just thought to peice it all together and just do it as fast as I could and it worked. Its like all that technical stuff the video was was saying for the JI HCL 6FRC6, was to try to tell us to do the 6frc6 fast as hell lol (on point of course). I guess the way that I'm learning it is getting a feel of here HCL FRC point and doing the 6frc6 as fast as I can and seeing how it feels when the dash comes out so I can remembere where to press it. Its funny, this technique is like alot of the other techniques that I tried to master like when I first learned about charge buffering and charge buffering+JI with May. At first I looked at it and tried it and was like, this is IMPOSSIBLE! . But after practicing it a billion times and understanding the concept it becomes common place. I think that all of these advanced techniques in Guilty gear aren't as hard to do as learning the concept of doing the technique . Its like when you dont understand the concept of doin something, youll go in this loop of practicing and fucking up cause your doing it wrong , but once you understand what you have to do its not so bad (still hard just not impossible). Well nows the grunt work. I see alot of 6frc6 training for quite a while, but thats how it goes . Sorry I accidentally wrote my life story you guys, but I was hyped up that I finally got it a few times I had to let it out . But thanks to you guys and this thread, ya helped me lvl up today .

Man thanks for all the encouragement guys xD, means alot. Makes playin the game even more fun Don't worry though, I wont be droppin this possgame any time lol. Looking at all the possibilities can be intimidatiting at first, but Its really intreging and it means that I have fun stuff to work on. And Im very stubborn so I won't quit anyway lol xD. Ive been hanging on to May since GGX even though back then I got whooped here and there but Im glad I hung in there. Im in no rush with the game, I just wanna be as good as I can be in it. And I can't try everything right now cause I have to pace myself lol I just sorta recovered from a bad case of Tendenitis, back in Dec when I OD'ed on GG doin Dolphin FRC's :8/:, so I just take Arcana and my other games a step at a time. I make some improvement, remember what I did and come back to it later like a book mark. Ive been trying to juggle Arcana, Melty Blood, and GG. Do some arcana, experiement with combos and mix ups, practice reveral beats, combos, and otg loops with Ciel, then go to gg, and practice with May and the bunch. Now Brawl is in the picture so Ive been thrown off track. The games badass without a doubt, its not super special but I think its cool that theres 3 diff taunts in this game now xD, lovin it :D. Im going to FR most likely since my best friebd should be there. Im mostly goin for GG and some MB, but I might do the arcana tourney, and if not i'll at least see some of you in casuals :D

I like the shadow poring thing thats in the ground (sorry guys, I did more combos than reading ). Reminds me of playing with may since you have to hold the button to delay the usage for mixups and get out of jail free cards xD, I lub my Dolphins (and anything that reminds me of em :p) so much :D. But heres a question for you arcana savy guys out there. Can someone fill me in or send me to a place where I can learn more of the mechanics of the game? Homing Cancels are a given of course but I wanna know more about defensive manuevers. Like theres that dash guard thingy and Ive seen guard canceling. Tell me about other need to know stuff pweaz At second look at this game after getting a better understanding of rushdowns, mix ups, pressure, and reversals..............THIS GAME IS INSANE lmao. 10 different arcana up for grabs, ten different characters to mix and match, rechargable arcana meter for offensive rushdown/combos, defensive get the fuck out of dodge manuevers @,,..,,@. Oh yeah and guard breakers/unblockables. I had no idea what I was getting into :8/:. But damn it its fun as hell. But right now its alot to take in at once so I haven't trained BlueBerry Koolaid Jammer yet :/ (The Dark Poring Arcana). Edit: I did a wiki and found out its name is Gier. I'll call it by its official name from now on, lol, promise.
-
hats you aint it sam? :/. Lol, you play arcana too?
-
Thanks for the info, I had a feelin they were position related. I'll have to think about how I wanna use em, cause miss use looks very dangerous. I didn't know it absorbed/repells projectiles, thats nice need to know information . Thanks much.

Thanks for the heads up kyle. Ima check those out like on friday after I play brawl. I have a thing about watching gameplay for a game that I know, that I havent experimented with yet :p. Btw I finally get my laptop out the shop so I can prolly show you those Isuka May colors I talkeda bout a few weeks back
-
Bout to order Brawl now actually, Yoshi is gonna be the first character I use xD, Ive had Yoshi Hype sinnce Super Mario World 1 xD. And thanks for the consider me, Ima check those vids.

At least im not the only one that thought of Liilica as Etna xD, and Presea was my favorite in Tales of Symphonia, gotta love the cute girls with oversized weapons (*plays with May* I think I see a pattern O,,..,,O) Heres my question, I'm trying to play with Kamui and I want to know how her counters work. I know 623C counters low obviously, but the other two I get confused about cause my knowlege of 2-D game and 3-D game counters mix me up here @_@. Here counter 623A where the sword is above her head, does that counter overheads, and specials (thinking KOF) or is it just over head? Counter 623B, is that just for neutral, or for specials too, or do both work on specials (623A/B)? @_@ Also she has two counters in the air with the same motion, but with A and B (623A/B). One she puts the sword over her head, and the other protects the lower part of her body. What do those counter against @_@, me so confus-ed.
