Ive been practicing up Ino and ive been using your method for 6FRC6 CL but man, thats harder than I thought . Im a May player so I airdash out of moves with alot of my combos but dude thats hard lol. I practice the rythme of 6frc6 some times in May combos, especially, k, s, JI, s, horizontal dolphin, 6frc6, mixup. Practice makes perfect and this will take a while lol.

Like kyle quoted in my method, try that and try to hit the person with the tip of the anchor so you see it hit the ground use that for an indicator and just practice to get the feel of it, its a certain feel youll know when you have it, after which try it on the overhead kiss, it has about the same timing but you cant press "up s" to early or too late, just experiment with the feel of it. Practice makes perfect.

Id be Hori then cause im not competitive in street fighter as in the Doujins, Those three you named are my joint. Goin back to the workshop with Ciel in MB soon so Ill definetly keep hori in mind. If I remeber right I have Isuka on my laptop, but its in the shop, ill find a way to save a pic of the colors when I get it back

An ol school May color that never seemed to make it back was Mays color in GGX where she was All in black Tanned skin, aqua blueish hair, It was a color me and my best friend like that we dubbed "Dark May" In terms of colors I have a few others but because Im very Indecisive I chose the EX: square cause blue is my fav color and brown is my favorite color of hair to see on a girl so I stuck with it and it seemed so simple I had to like it. I also like the colors: Normal Dust: where shes in Black out fit, tanned skin, red hair and Golden Anchor. (If the anchor was black, read, or white id pick this as main, cause as muchas I like the gold color anchor it seems to stand out too much and does match with the out fit) EX S: White rain coat, black wet suit, brown hair (nice solid color, brown hair nuff said) EX HS: Nice red color coat, black wet suit, blonde hair (red with black is always a nice color combo, but with black hair that color would be rockin) Ex Dust: (Johnnyish color), Black rain coat wit red trim, blonde hair, red anchor (if this color was the ressurrection of the Dark May color id be a happeh man) Off AC topic but I loved Isuka forr the color edit Two favorites for May were St Aug May, aka Purple and Gold May (High school colors of my high school) I thiiiiink it was Purple Rain Coat, gold trim, black wet suit, tanned skin, i want to say black hair, and purple anchor Ocean Blue May: Black rain coat, blue trim and wet suit, tanned skin, blue anchor and blue hair. Wish i had screenies but my isuka died long long ago.

This is the only area in the May thread I thought I could ask this. For all you stick users that are May players, what advice can you give me for selecting a stick. I read the thread on it but it doesn't help since Ive never used an arcade stick a day in my life (I still call sticks "bricks' "cinder blocks"), so I wouldn't know what from what. What stick do you guys use and what would you recommend for a first timer?

Those vids were good stuff Efute uses my favorite AC May color (Blue rain coat, white wet suit, brown hair) And I think thinks its cool to see others play with the original colors, cause it seems old school to me and there aint nothin wrong wit that.

The dash after the HVD is one of my favorite tactics, so I should knowits a bit of a pain at times. Did you remember to jump install? That means to press up some time during your combo to allow you to air dash after a move that leaves you airborn if you frc or rc it. So what you wanna do is: OHK, S, HS, SVD, S, up, charge down, HS, HSVD, FRC, airdash HS, GO CRAZY o,,..,,O. if you put the jump install in your combo, once you frc you can usually air dash when ever the hell you want to. You usually have some time to airdash. If you check out complex Ino play you see ppl airdash an inch off the ground (X,x) after comboing a chemical (with jump install), so with may its not so bad cause she has a nice bit of airtime. The jump install for may is weird, you have to press up in between her HS fsat enough for it to not be registered as a jump cancel, but slow enough so that you press it hard enough so that the jump install is registered. (My old problem D: ) Its a feel you have to learn, so practice up and good luck,....but dont practice too hard *points to his sig* :8/: Leveling up in GG is on thing but not being able to play suxs balls :'<

When Is this tournament? Ive been hearing people mention it. How close is it? Even if I cant represent as a team captain I want to show what I go. Ive been trying to get as many match ups as possible, but as my signature shows, I need some time to recover before I can hit the sticks again. Im not a rookie, I just downplay my self out of modesty, but Ive been playing May since GGX.

What would be a good video capture device to use? Ive heard of Dazzel from shishi-rendan.com when they had a thread about recording matches and such, I think it was Dazzel 80 specifically. Is this good to use? Or is there something else that might have better quality?

Sorry It took so long to comment but man that video was good stuff. Just like the Hell side, The video really kepted me buck for Guilty Gear, Its getting me all hype of how well the music went with the combos. And I do love J-pop, and whats anime theme with out Jpop :O. It was a great job guys, I enjoyed it, Heaven side is my favorite of the two but I do like both. Your keepin my gears rollin for guilty gear .......even though I have no one to play it with ........ Of the Heaven side my favorite was part two with the triple split screen on the guitar parts of the song, and how the song broke it down afterwards when people would start just gettin down with those combos with the music. Man that was some cool stuff. As many mist finers I took to the face,....the music vid made me like Johnny for a nice little minute. I was like.....dammmn that man is really goiin ooff, just swinging like he has something to prove :o......And I loved that faust's JUSITCE! (He calls faust's force break giant hand chop move justice.... dont ask :/) on cue with the song lol. You guys have kepted me hype once again :D. Without Hype I cant game :p.

I thank you guys, I gotta say, these videos keep my hype rollin for this game dude. I loved the Heaven Side better, well cause of the music (Dont get me wrong now, I love that Heavy Metal) but Hell side was awwwwwesome. The video shows you you can never know everything about something, and you should always try to improve. Hell, Ive tried Ino's frc on CL.....that shit is hard, let alone the airdash after it.........it was literally flowin like water......:o. The videos make me wanna try harder, they were really well made and ive been watchin both of them off and on since they came out, awesome job guys, thanks for putting your time in to it and showin us. Some people say they didnt like the flashyness, buuut I didnt mind it too much, It keeps the hype goin, and im all about enthusiasm. I played it pretty hard when I found out hotaru (xD) was in it and my friend leo played that and KOF XI pretty hard. I didnt have KOF at the time so I played NGBC to at least catch up in one game, but Ive never had any one to play it with :/. Love the game though. Hotaru's been a fav sense mark of the wolves (found out later shes hi tier in this one but, too late now :p), and ya gotta love ol dirteh (Tung Fu Rue). I dont know what it is about the old dudes in anime/games that still know how to get down....its cool as hell :grin: . I need to get another copy........mine wore down . Gotta pick characters you get hype with or......whats the point lol, for me anyway. *Smacks himself* man the heresy......I forgot Shermie :O, the smexiest grappler character since I dont know, back in KOF when Clark vs. Shermie matches were an everyday thing :p., she's usually with Hotaru, or Tung Fue Rue. I thought it was evil that they gave her a orochi shermie and yashiro move or two, but I love it. I swing with Geese/Terry sometimes, and Kyo and K` for fun and I dont know what the main character guy's name is hes fun to mess around with. Most of the time its Hotaru/Shermie/Tung Fue Rue, in some type of order.

Thanks a bunch, I didnt think about double jump, that slipped my mind thanks so much . Previously I put that one on hold and just did a Faultless Defense to stop the homing jump and hit with HS between the 25th~29th frame land and run up for something. But the other one was buggin me cause theres always something that looks so simple but has more too it.
