  1. Yes. They mentioned something about an "adventure format" and it taking place after arcade mode, but nothing more.

  3. Problem with dub is that it's money gone towards a resource that has never been seen as a necessity to GG as ElvenMike says.
  4. Amane is a definite pain in the ass. We don't have a good way out of his drill pressure since our only defensive options get stuffed by him. Hakumen feels like a weird one. It feels like he SHOULD be bad for us but we have ways of throwing his defense off with our pressure. You just can't auto pilot against him.
  5. I don't know who would complain about the removal of arbitrary bullshit like FRC. I think you're just grasping at straws at this point. If you don't like the direction of the game that's fine but you have no reason to post here if so.
  6. I think one of the Famitsu scans Kurushii posted about a month ago had a clear HQ screen of Ken on the select screen, but was one of his alternate colors. That shouldn't be a huge issue though.
  7. Aren't a lot of FBs still there in spirit anyway? Like doesn't Venom's new super sort of work on a similar concept to his FBs?
  8. There's zero point for FRC in this game because YRC exists. I don't even know what you want from this game anymore.

  10. That's pretty cool. I know Xrd makes a lot of things easier and maybe even dumbed down which in some areas is definitely disappointing, but I think the removal of FRCs will make the game a lot less intimidating for new players and make them want to jump in and stick around longer.
  11. Question for those who have played the game, sorry for asking but I couldn't find an answer through Google/searching. How is YRC timing in relation to FRCs in the older games? Is it lax enough that I can play my netplay buddies without having to remove it from my game, or is it closer to FRC where it has a specific point?
  12. Overdrive is not an entirely accurate way to describe it, I would prefer to say it's more like the Hyperdrive mode in KOF13 or Blood Heat from Melty.
  13. I know the bagpipes are supposed to be a callback to Dignity from GG2, but given that Daisuke is a music nut they kind of sound like the ones at the end of the song Touched by Vast. Just barely.

  16. If you want to use a 360 pad buy a converter, but I assure you that at this level of play the controller is not your issue. Really just play with whatever peripheral feels comfortable for you between whatever pad and whatever arcade stick. If notation or terminology confuses you the wiki explains all of that.

  19. TBH I'm not really surprised by his gimmick being something silly since he was kind of Sol's chew toy in Overture and was usually more of a comic relief character along with Izuna, at least compared to Sol. I just hope he doesn't end up being some gimmick reliant piece of garbage.

  21. You can probably get away with 6C as an AA if your opponent goes full retard but that's a pretty slow ass AA lol. I think 6B is just halfassed to fill the quota of every character having a 6X for every normal and a 3C.
  22. Don't really know how Famitsu works but shouldn't it be next Tuesday since they said "next week"
  23. Don't a lot of chars have command AAs, like Ragna/Noel/Amane/Koko 6A.
