  1. Assuming you mean my query about the 236236C followups, yeah both hits of 5B connect. Anything after that seems to wiff but I'll chalk that up to execution because if I do 5C instead of 5B I can continue. I think I'm completely lost with the xxx 2AB 214B 4B 4AB 2A stuff, I have no idea how long I need to delay 4B for because they always seem to be too low for 2A to hit after 4AB no matter how late.
  2. You probably need to cancel as soon as possible after the DP hits. Remember at a certain height you'll get the air version of the super and probably will have a hard time comboing further on the ground. May as well bring my questions over, although most of them I share with you.
  3. I think if you do it raw it doesn't launch them high enough, you probably need the sweep. I'm having trouble with that combo too, no matter how long I delay the 4B they hit they recover before 2A can hit. I'm having a hard time with a lot of the confirms for this dude. I've been trying to do 5D/2D AA 236C/D 2A but can't get 2A to land. I know it needs to be counter hit most likely but that isn't helping me much lol. The 236236C followups are getting me too. I can land a 5A or 5B but anything after drops.
  4. That would be true, yes, but only if the games are different. When my friend gameshared JJBA ASB DLC with me, it worked fine (he was on JPN store and me on HK store) so if the HK store's verson of P4U2 is the exact same as the JPN one (which I believe it is) then there SHOULDN'T be any issues.
  5. I'll consider it. I have three accounts (US, HK, JPN) so I SHOULD be able to purchase it, plug it into my JPN account and be good to go, given that HK P4U is literally the same game as the JPN one.
  6. For those of us who purchased with a HK account, can I do this on my JPN account still? I mean, the JPN and Hong Kong versions of the game are identical are they not?
  7. For combos off 236C/D confirms (such as 2D starters) do I need to microdash to get the 5A to connect, or does it need to be counter hit? Or do I just have to input 5A as soon as the teleport hits?
  8. Or maybe labeling a character as "OP top tier pls nerf" based on minimal gameplay exposure from promotional material designed to make them look good is one of the most common cases of jumping the gun in the FGC.
  9. Man, only on DL will you see people assigning tiers to characters who haven't even hit the playable roster yet. Actually that's completely untrue because I see that shit everywhere.
  10. Even if you strictly use fighting types, you can still have a decently varied roster -Medicham/Gallade -Toxicroak -Scrafty -Hawlucha -Chesnaught/Breloom -Heracross -Blaziken/Infernape/Emboar and then pure fighting types with different niches like Hariyama, Conkeldurr, Hitmonchan, etc.
  11. This is a real problem I've always had with BB's balance. When you balance a game, you nerf something or make it better, not take it away. For example, imagine if Capcom tried to balance demon flip by removing the ability to cancel into it off stand fierce which meant no more tatsu->s.HP->Demonflip mixup. Yes, it's a bad example because it's cross company (as well as the fact that Capcom DID remove c.HK cancel to ultra 1) but I can't think of any good comparisons. If they wanted to make Rachel's pressure less good they should have just made the startup on the IOH slower or made it easier to stuff or something, it's an overhead so the point is for them to be blocking anyway (IE not to throw it out while they're attacking, you shouldn't be getting hit out of it unless you get read or called out).

  14. I don't even see how Sol is basic either. He has shit that few other shotos have like the slide and the command grab, and his play style is a lot different than most others are. If anything I'd call Ky the "basic" one but even that's debatable now with his new system.
  15. I find that the newer a controller is, the more uncomfortable it is. Just break it in, eventually your hands will adjust and the pad will feel nice and smooth.

  23. I agree. TBH nobody has made a really good case for Ken yet. He just looks like a nuisance matchup for certain characters. Maybe he's strong but not flashy, who knows at this point.
