  1. Are you telling me I don't have to care as much about Spark Bolt if I'm in Luna? Which I'm pretty much going to be in all the time so I can't autopilot and whiff things? Duuuuuuuude Also, is it anywhere near a good idea to try doing things like Luna 236D in neutral because Tager moves at continental paces and can't do anything about it without Spark Bolt? I like to press stupid things like that fullscreen just because I know Tager can only waddle towards me and scowl.
  2. You can OD cancel 6C on an airborne opponent and pick them up mid screen with 6D. Probably super inoptimal but it's really easy.
  3. Break yo self. But yeah, astral finishes are pretty much fatalities you can use with the right conditions, and they're generally super flashy so a lot of people are going to try to do them to you whenever possible. I know I certainly will, and I expect anyone else to do the same.
  4. Oh, I guess that makes sense. I would still assume that you would get more points for winning, but that's neither here nor there.
  5. Shout-out to that Hazama player that ragequit because he was too stupid to figure out you can't fly straight into Platinum's presents, or straight to me in an arc that will let me bomb you on reaction. Never change.
  6. I just want to know how that points thing works. I can be level 16 and double perfect someone that's level 12 and I'll get 8 and a half points while they'll get 96 million.
  7. At some point, I'm going to start actually getting punished for Dia parsers, but until then, I'm really loving it in this matchup. If Tager doesn't want to do anything, I'm content to do drive blockstrings and reset by parsering away until he dies of old age or something.
  8. When should I burst against this guy if I get hit? Immediately so I don't get magnetized?
  9. So apparently you can counterhit 236C past 6D. I really and truly doubt it can be done on reaction because 30 frame startup, but if you read the other Nu right, you'll get all the damage in the world. I may have just lagged through 6D, though, so take this info with a grain of salt.
  10. I'll use meter for stuff, but if I see that portrait flashing, you can bet your butt I'm gonna astral. It's the ninja way.
  11. I parser away to catch people pressing buttons. You'd be amazed how many people mash throw tech when they see you disappear.
  12. .... Gentlemen. I play really regularly with an Arakune main that just hopped over from Extend a couple weeks ago, so his tech may not be the best, but playing with him prompts me to ask: Is whipping out Haply Magicka if you get cursed and see Arakune doing something that will obviously touch you a good idea? And if so, is it worth the meter to RC the hit and get a combo that you drag on as long as possible to lessen the pain of curse? I've found that it can completely ruin Arakune's momentum if you use it smart and sparingly.
  13. I take offense to that. I don't run away and spam items. I run right up to you and use them in your face.
  14. You don't Astral enough. If you have 100 meter, you're honor-bound to Astral. That's just the way it should be.
  15. I adhere to the Code of Astrals at all possible times, so I golf clap whoever does it to me. I probably whiffed my Astral and got punished, didn't I? GGs. Also because you said you astraled me I'm assuming you're a Tager player because I don't remember any other astrals hitting me ever haha
  16. I'll use an example that happened yesterday. I was playing my friend's Arakune and had MJ hammer (not sure if it's supposed to be useful in this matchup or not but it was). I used one to groundpound him and got a little combo off of it, and I really, really wanted to use it for a guard crush, but I only had one left. What were my options to set up a grab or CDT to refill? I guess the guide helped with the command grab in pressure idea, but I'd like to know what all of my options are so I can whip one out in any situation I find myself in. Thanks!
  17. Am I a bad person for training the opponent to jump so I can air 360 them? That's preeeeetty much my entire gameplan. If we have an air 360, I say use it.
  18. So I am either very stupid or have balls of steel, but I'm liking IAD j.B crossups just to keep Tager on his toes if he gets close. It's such a bad idea that they never see it coming and always get hit. I will be saddened when people start seeing it coming and punishing me for it.
  19. i don't recognize your name, but if it rings any bells, I'm the Nu that pretty much only uses parsers, but I'm not sure that's particularly rare. Which actually brings me to my next question. Is it suicidal to use Dia parsers for mixup, stagger pressure, and to fish for jumps?

  21. Okay, so let's say that I want to keep the item I have now but I'm running low. Are there reliable ways to DL that other than yolo CDT or Dramatic Sammy? Maybe I should do a combo and try to do a meaty grab for oki and hope they don't see it from a mile away and jump? Or should I just accept that all good things must and end take the piko hammer?

Also, can we get anything off of a random j.C grounded hitconfirm? j.C>5C is apparently bugged and you'll get a backwards 5C like 90% of the time so I don't want to use that, but people never expect j.C so I want to be able to do *something* with it.
  25. Wouldn't it be cool if TK cancel took an air option, but to compensate, we got an extra air option?
