  1. I played a really good Slabs today, and I was wondering... is it just me, or does our DP beat out every single one of her setups where she's on the ground and close enough to us to get tagged? Even if Slabs techs it, we've escaped the setup for free.
  2. I hate when I'm playing and my left hand decides it's done cooperating with me and my movements turn to jelly.
  3. If Makoto opens the round with her Asteroid Vision illusion thing, 4B beats out the A and B versions. Handy knowledge if you play with someone and you know they're going to do that. (this may have changed post-patch)
  4. I feel like this matchup is in Nu's favor. Our drives are for the most part better than his C attacks, and we can function extremely well in the range Amane doesn't want to be at. As long as we can prevent him from getting level 3 drills, we don't really have all that much to worry about in neutral from my (admittedly shallow) experience. Beating his 236D fullscreen is a bit more complicated now that it's projectile invulnerable, but I like to move in between spots where the drllls can appear and tag him with 5D as he drops a drill. It's not as convenient as just cheesing him to death every time he tries it in neutral, but it's still simple enough. His C attacks and drills may be able to harass us and interrupt our drives, but in my opinion, it's not an uphill battle for us. That all changes once he gets level 3 drills and goes on the offensive. Thoughts?
  5. I just noticed the glory and splendor of fully-charged Dia 214D. If they respect it on the ground, you have fullscreen mixup in the form of 4D and 236D. Or run up and grab if that's your thing. However, I'm not quite sure what to do to punish them jumping over it. I usually zip under them and try to cross them up with something, but that rarely works. :C Sent from my SM-T520 using Tapatalk
  6. I'm learning myself some new bread-and-butters from the video posted earlier, and I was wondering - how reliable are things like 2DD>22A>2DD>stuff and j.2DD>j.214D~C>j.DD>j.2DD?   8. So I don't have internet and I'm relearning Lizzy in my downtime. I'm doing the challenges to get her fundamental down, and there are a couple I'm having serious trouble with. 28 is 5B>2AB>236236A>2A>5B>5CC>2C>214B>214CD,214214A,2AB. I can get everything consistently (thank you CP Nu for training my stance change cancels!) except for the timing of the Diarahan. It comes out too late to end the combo with a sweep. Is there a visual cue to look for, like how you can input 214AB after you see the little ice missiles hit the dummy and land it every time, or is it pure playing-by-ear intuition? Also, to ask about the real point of this challenge, are mind charge cancels important to Lizzy's game? In addition, is using Diarahan at a point like this helpful to heal, or am I better off sitting on that meter for more combos/OMCs? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

  14. I haven't checked the other schemes in a while, but the chat has issues with some of the color schemes. A few of the palettes have almost unreadable chat text. I'll edit this post with examples when I get home but I didn't see it mentioned so I thought I'd call attention to it. Apologies if this was already fixed and I'm just too lazy to look and see.   15. What do I do after a max-range 5C counter hit? I feel like I'm wasting a fatal with a sad little 5C>6C and then a return to neutral with a Dia Parser/214D or Luna 236D/attempted meaty 5D. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  16. I've been trying to get my colored square to rank up. I heard that it only changes playing people of your square, so I've been doing that. After having quite a few matches (~20) and winning most of them, nothing changed. Instead, I've beaten, sometimes even completely wrecked people, and then seen them again immediately on the ranked match menu with a ranked-up square. What gives? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  17. Sibadleko, I can't find the quote button on Tapatalk, but thanks a ton. I figured that Chizuru would have ridiculous combos requiring perfectly-timed use of her DP and things like that. I assume you fan tack on 236236AB or 214214AB (depending on which will hit) to the end of certain meterless combos for more damage? Or do you want to preserve the 214 enders so you can have oki?   18. Any Chizuru players have some good bread-and-butter combos for me? The wiki (thanks for linking it to me by the way, I thought it was for a game called Mizuumi and that alone and thus never clicked on it) has no combos listed for her.

  21. What can we do to beat Vivace fullscreen? It makes it pointless to use D attacks and if the Carl is good at spacing, they'll be able to dodge just about everything I can do. I've heard you can low him out of it, is that an option? What about predicting a vivace and Luna 236Aing past him and trying to punish afterward, assuming it won't put you in a dangerous position with the puppet? Also, can you really 66/44 Parser after Nirvana blocks D attacks? That's rich if you can. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

It annoys me to no end when someone calls/texts me asking if I want to hang out, or messages me asking if I want to play with them, making me stop what I'm doing so I can be ready to leave/join them, then says nothing to me for the next couple hours.
