I think it's better if it's not the main threat of the team and opponents focus its partner. In summary, it's specialized in surprize attacks in my opinion and it's better that way.

Pilot artworks are the same than before. Voice acting-wise, new lines have been added. Anyway, is it just me or regular BR shots are bigger in this game ? Kinda remind me The O's or Xi's main in EXVS and FB.

If balance changes were made, it didn't concern life/durability and ammo. They could have modified reload time, cooldown time, properties and such though.
