  1. A miserable pile of fucking cylinders. Anyway, I'll pick you up Zoob. You can bring up to 3 friends.
  2. You should cosplay Miyako with the way you were hyping yourself up before every match (Although I suppose you'd have to play MB...). In any case, thanks for teaming with me and revitalizing my drive to get better at GG. I'll totally cut you a deal if you find yourself wanting a custom stick. I'll put suction cups on the bottom instead of rubber feet Anyway, I would completely support the decision of the addition of singles. It would make the commute that much more worth it, and would help to make the bi-weeklies a more official tournament setting rather than a local shindig with amazing competition. I honestly haven't left a bi-weekly yet without an epiphany of some sort.
  3. Only one more week! I was thinking of doing a round-robin format if a game had less than 6 participants. How does everyone feel about that? Anyway, here are the specifics, so Zoob ought to copy-paste this into the original post. I'm assuming that we'll have a stream... Also, Tales, prepare to get bodied with your own character. 4. I know I would have trouble trying to find an active scene for Blazblue.
  5. It's something that should have been done A LONG TIME AGO (10/4).
  6. Sweet deal. However, you cannot be late, nor fashionably late to our genteel soiree. If this is the case, we will enter BLUEnine in the tournament instead. I heard he is a MANIAC when it comes to GG.
  7. May I be removed from BB:CS and added to GG:AC? Mindgam3-CT, MB:AA and GG:AC Thanks!
  8. I sent AlphaKami a PM as soon as you told me, but he still hasn't changed the thread title. I'll send another one shortly. NY is most welcome to come! It's quite a hike, but at least I have more setups than Gamepad...
  9. You're going to see this: Fast forward to 1:30 for the GOOD STUFF.
  10. I have an interesting proposition. We set the matches to best 3 out of 5, and we run one match Anji vs. Anji, and one match Slayer vs. Slayer. If we are tied 1-1, we do random-select for the final match, thus effectively making it best 2 out of 3 matches. We could also do an AC+ team match set to best 2 of 3 rounds, or I could just body you with Anji. I bet $3.
  11. There's Project Failure on the 19th (http://shoryuken.com/f7/ct-nov-19th-project-failure-presents-friday-night-blackout-256404/).
  12. Just make sure to do the dishes when you're done~ Anyway, the date in the thread title will be changed shortly. Now I'll at least get to play after I'm done driving everyone. I'm going to hit you up for some oil-change money, I'm 1,000 miles overdue.
  13. EVERYONE, CALM DOWN! Let's make it the 27th. Starting at 2:00pm. Come one and come all to get your pre-NEC beatings.
  14. New England is in need some warm-up games before NEC, so we look forward to playing all of you again! We might even have more people coming this time around. Also, provided we have the physical space, I would support the addition of GGAC and MBAA singles with two full setups (20" CRT + PS2 + Game) to help us run everything a bit more efficiently. Or perhaps I should just bring two BB setups so we can have a chance of it finishing on time
  15. While the tournament scheduling ran a little late, the turnout for every game and the level of competition more than made up for it. It also didn't help that I officially lost to May this tournament, but I have new insights into May's profoundly simple tactics, and my counters to them. Shoutouts are in no particular order. MGV: Thanks for beating me up like a scrub. We should play more! Tinshi: Thanks for waiting for so long while I was taking care of business with Rokunaya, and driving home the point that your HS button is better than mine. A3: Too bad we didn't get to play because of Ril's asian mix-up character, but it was nice talking to you again. If I have improved, I shudder to think what I was like before :8/: Stickbug: I'm definitely going to NEC, but I'll stay sad until that time. Sesshryu: Always a pleasure talking with you. Keep with HOS, he’s a fun character. DaiAndOh: I know you’re a pissed off TO, but don’t disqualify my teammate. Thanks for running everything smoothly and efficiently, and I hope to play games with you in the future! Ril: Thanks for teaming with me in Melty Blood and playing GG casuals. I feel like I’m getting a handle on the Millia vs. Slayer match-up. NerdJosh: Call me or tell Brian to call me or something next time you're in CT, so you can teach us how to beat the people at Project Failure KarlKablisk: I hope your business is doing well, and I look forward to seeing you again. Mynus: I’ll watch out for Hisui next time around. Your I-No is too good. XAQshinor: I know you were a bit rusty in MB, but good game nonetheless. I wanted to play you in GG too, but I didn’t get the chance. Marlin: We’re all going in. Thanks for the Slayer advice, that variation does stupid damage for little to no effort. DoomieJ: Thanks for the Twix, keep practicing GG and I will too. Steve H: Thanks for the few matches that we played. You ARE Ky Kiske! Matt Coma: Your Millia is hype, your C-Satsuki is hype, you’re just too hype. I’ll see you at NEC (which will be hype). Mahouko: You’re the best Bridget I’ve ever seen in person. I wish dressing like Slayer would make me that good. Keep practicing, and I’ll see you at the next biweekly. To all those I missed, you know that I know that I appreciate all the help/support/social interactions. New England wants to level up, so we'll be seeing you all a lot more in the future!
  16. We have a grand total of 5 people including myself going in the Mindmobil3, with a team for every game. The overall turnout for this tournament is looking unreal.
  17. Slayer's already an tournament-legal EX character. You just need to unlock your inner swagger. Also, dare I ask, what (if any) is the parking situation like around the venue?
  18. I'll be hosting casuals this coming Saturday at my apartment. If people are going to BG and want to stay over Friday into Saturday (considering I am fairly close), that's perfectly acceptable. PM me for the address if you don't already know where it is.
  19. ,,fcks EDIT: I'll be hosting casuals this coming Saturday at my apartment. If people are going to BG and want to stay over Friday into Saturday (considering I am fairly close), that's perfectly acceptable. PM me for the address if you don't already know where it is.
  20. You should practice the combo to hone your execution, for what Blazblue's worth anyway.
  21. Team NE for GG, let's go. I also forgot that I can supply a GG, MB, and BB setup.
  22. I'll be attending, along with Dr. Onblast, LordPangTong, and Danny Schme. I'll see if other NE players are interested as well, since apparently we just love Blazblue.
  23. Could you please remove me from BB:CS and add me to GG:AC? Thanks!
  24. I just want to say thanks to all those who made it to the second official MindHiv3 casuals. T'was incredibly fun, and I hope everyone else will be able to make it on the 23rd of this month! I play Slayer in AH3 with the Swagger arcana.
