Exactly. You can ALWAYS work on one form of Zappa. Ghost was easiest for me, but Dog form is by far my favourite/the best imho. puke+2d*n. Suck a dick, Testament. He was NEVER boring, though I will say that Zappa can be madd frustrating. <3 <3 <3 Zappa AND HE'S SO POLITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never met any in person. I played The General at FRXII(?) last year, but he played a lot of characters. I only beat his Zappa cuz of that, methinks. That and ubar luck with teh summons. Man... I miss the luck factor with Zappa. I mean, it REALLY sucked getting ghosts on wake-up, but srsly, Zappa was too much fun cuz of how differently you had to play every summon.

I mained Chunz in SF4. Most boring iteration of her EVER. Her combos were tight as hell, but the game's mechanics just made every match ever feel the same. And I kinda feel ya on the clap loop being removed. Carl can be REALLY creative, but there's no reason to be, esp against asshole characters like Kune that just throw stuff at you from fullscreen all day long. That and people srsly WTF at Carl's retarded mix-ups. Still, he neeeeeeeeds something more. Like a projectile. And better guard libra. And 12k health. Nirvana should have 9.5k. >_> -
I completely forgot that SRK is what got the idea into my head a year or so ago. I dun think I'll do it before the tournament this weekend, but I'll still love you forever, Zoogs. Zappa players are the best people ever.

If they tech, (2c 8d)*3-4 is the best combo in the game. Hit with the actual clap part of it and you'll be doing 6-7k without meter in no time, for no Nirvana health, aaaaaaaand it leads into throw loop. If you do 3 reps, you can also end with Fermata. Just occurred to me that after 1-2 ground loops, you might as well go for the throw loop as an extension vs Rachel/Haku. If they mess up their tech+escape, you get 6k damage. If they don't tech, you get free damage! If Rachel escapes, she has to use a wind stock. Cool stuff, I guess. Except pinning Rachel down is pretty hard for me. Damn that wind.

Any good visual guides for this particular mod? Electronics always seems to sound a lot more intimidating than it really is. If'n I could get this done before this weekend, I would love you FOREVER, zoogs.

Ouch. Carl gets a projectile. Imma translate the Carl portion later today, if I get some time. Hopefully he isn't garbage. A decent projectile would help out a good deal vs zoning masters like Kune. Also, an ex that heals Nirvana eddie-style would make me happy, but nothing on that. New chick looks tight. I'm reading the update thread right now, but I'll prolly give her a go. Should I even bother on making my Ragna legit? I guess we'll find out how much time we have by next Wed.

^and this is why I use 5c+6d to fight Tager. Fueco just doesn't feel right to me. D: Then again, maybe that's why I lose to other characters.

Thanks for the advice, Markus. I'm doing markedly better against scrub Noels (it's seriously this easy?), but I haven't really had a chance to play a legit Noel yet. I have some Cali player that I'm s'posed to be playing in the next day or two, so I'll letcha know how that goes whenever. Still, I thought that her drive had hella blockstun. Being able to just jab her out makes it soooooooooo much easier.

Carl is also Jigglypuff from Melee. It's do or die. Lately, I've been doing less doing and more dying. D: Heyyyyyyyyyyy What do you guys use to approach/get them sandwiched offa blocked fueco? Should I be doing fueco, iad karacan, 2a, 5a, 5b, iad j.2c allecan stuff, or what? I need to know what to practice since tomorrow's going to be my last day to work on technicals before the tournament. The rest of those days will be spent playing people online. Is karacan iad really that quick of an approach? I'm always paranoid about them being able to reaction punish it, but I have a feeling it's like a random tao drive that you have to predict, first. -

Gear super eats Spark Volt, but it has to be out already. You can't reaction Spark Volt, as it is 0 frame (or so the grapevine says... I dun have time to check right now). Sooooo either have Nirvana on, or block. Don't try to do naked Gear supers unless you have enough tension to RC it immediately I lost random matches because of Tager sledging through it for some serious damage. Imma try going super aggro with Nirvana next time they have spark meter. Seems like they'd be more likely to be in an offense-oriented mindset with Spark Volt, and easier to lock down because of it. ALSO, xCammy FINALLY JOINED US! YAYAYAYAYA!

Thanks! If she suspects that imma try to jab her outta drive, can't she do flash kick or whatever? Not saying that it's a good idea for Noel to be spamming it, just wondering when I should attack, and when I should lay off.

I didn't think fueco did that well against ya. Remember that I try to refrain from allecan teleport combos, since there's no buffering in two separate spots and comboing online without buffers=no good. Pretty much, I think that if Carl plays boring as hell and waits for Tager to approach, he can win every time. Unless the Tager manages to land a naked spark volt (chip damage=damage=win by time out!), Carl has nothing to really fear sitting fullscreen at 5c+6d distance from Nirvana. But yeah, GGs. Was lotsa fun. I wanna play you more so I learn to stop being greedy. lololol.
