^ you know what? That's a damn good Idea thanks! I don't see why it wouldn't do much more damage because 6hs doesn't really prorate that much anyway.

I dunno If this combo is listed but do you think it could be useful..? (this is with lvl 3 mist finer) KJT, kj frc, c.5S, lv3 mf upper, j.p, j.k, j.s, dj.s, j.hs, kj frc, j.hs, DB I've tried it and it seems to work on most characters and the average amount of damage is 200 but do you think the cost is too high?

When I played against May she was really floaty and jumped around constantly using j.2HS alot. Is there any way I can counter this with like a j.s or something?

So how far have you ever gotten in Survival Mode?

I beat Survival with Order-Sol and Ky in 1 hour 2 minutes 15 seconds, and 1 hour and 8 minutes respectively. It was kinda easy imo. The computer kept falling for the same combos over, and over, and over, and over again. -
It's character specific though. Most characters the GV will go under or they'll be on the ground before you can get the clean hit off making it kind-of questionable whether to learn it or not.

^ true. Grand Viper is an over looked move with great possibilities but should be used in situations where you know you can pull it off or at the start of the match to try and mess with your opponent every once in a while. I think the reason that people use the BR, FRC, SW combo is because that it's alot more safer to throw out than a GV since the 2D has very little recovery time unless it was anticipated...then they eat a combo >_<

In my experiences it seems like eddie likes to eat alot of fafnir's when his shadow is out if he fucks up a shadow mix-up. Is this reliable when fighting more skilled Eddies or is it just at the fault of the Eddie player I'm facing?

It depends on you really. Since he plays rather erratic with Sol it may be useful against those "play by the book" players who expect all the normal sol bs. But when going against high level players they'll probably change their play style accordingly so it may not even really matter. It's an interesting endeavor though so try it out.

Kaqn is up there now...>_< But I'm a big fan of Kaqn and Isa so I can't help but feel good about either winning. I'm such a whore...-_- anyways I'll get some Sol vids of me playing in this upcoming tourney next week so you guys can critisize how scrubby he is.

I saw one good tick throw set-up there but other than that it was the usual shenanigans with the GF frc and such. Good vid though @Tsak: I wouldn't go for the BR into a WT anymore. You find that the better you and your opponent gets the more shitty of a grab set-up it is..-_-.

BB? just 6p it on reaction and go into j.k, j.s, dj.k, j.s, KJ FRC, j.k, j.s, j.d, Ensenga for around 100 points of easy damage. Since my friend uses Sol all the time I had time to test this around alot and it works pretty well.

you don't use S or HS se frc's in your mix-ups...? those are really good for applying pressure as well as tk cse. Ky has plenty of mix-up you can use so just vary your combos but try to have a similar start up to your last start-up to confuse your opponent. just remember you also don't have to keep them in the corner all day either. also you shouldn't make a habit of using GS alot if you do. I experienced the concequences of this first-hand.. usually 2s or 5k is good for a pressure string start-up as well.

^ yeah I tried that before but I haven't found the proper spacing fo it yet. I'll go into training mode and practice it to tell you guys. and what if you DB FRC then dash around him and try to go for a Dash then throw if he doesn't instant block it? that should work shouldn't it?

damn so that means j.hs doesn't work as a safe jump-in? and for punishes can you 6p his GS if he tries to use it at he end of a pressure string?

yeah Kys damage output is fairly low but now he has more opportunities to take advantage of an enemes mistakes since his mixup moves are better thanks to the new force break.

The Game Got a 29/40 from Famitsu so The average would be safe to say...73/100 Not bad I guess. GG2 Overture is said to have taken place about 5 years after GG so that means it takes place 2-3 years after GGXX from the various sources I found Wikipedia, GG2 offical site etc. But I'm not too sure about it yet.

Yeah because in AC you actually have to work harder to get off most of Sol's damaging combos. I thought that He was boring in XX Slash and in #Reload he was cool

Yeah I just figured that out yesterday night Shinobi. Thanks. Ky has massive combo potential even more than Sol Badguy it would seem.

Sol is getting less and less love everyday. Oh well I use both Sol and HOS just because I can't just drop him after the hard work I put in to be decent with him.

Looks like the loop works best at mid range using the S VT instead of the HS because LJ usually doesn't connect with the HS one off the ground
