  1. Wow, that's pretty ballsy to keep the December release for NA, but I ain't complaining [picking up 2 limited editions anyways] I'm just glad we know, now all that's left is the hard part . . . the waiting . . . (<O>)___(<O>) "soon . . . soon . . ."
  2. Do you mean the V4 Hayabusa? EDIT: Ok, nevermind, I see the N series.
  3. I believe he's talking about the arcade poster which wasn't nearly X enough, since no one's head was directly in anyone's crotch
  4. I don't recall any direct mentions of what he is up to, but May doesn't appear to be [specifically] looking for him, so he is most likely off fulfilling his promise to find someone that can teach May about her Japanese lineage; it looks like May is also looking [probably to make the task easier on Johnny]. That or he's in jail again like in the first game
  5. I think Crow is a bad character because he is a bad character; he is easily the WEAKEST personality in the entire cast especially for how screen time was devoted to him. All of his encounters pretty much play out the same where he takes on a very flat, 1-dimensional "bad guy of the week" role and is all like "oh man I'm evil, JUUUUUUUUUUUUSTICE! *snap*" and doesn't even feel like a primary obstacle for anyone. His characterization and execution are laughably weak and he feels like a legitimate afterthought of the already half-baked AC+ story. AC+'s only merit is the establishment of Dizzy and Ky's relationship [so that it doesn't look as forced as it initially appeared. Still waiting for Jam to appear and give him reckoning], it looks like they attempted to make it a supplementary part of what Overture was trying to build up towards, but it felt like something just fell apart in the process. Mos of the endings pretty much cycle around where XX already left off [i-No had bad there too] or just pulled shit out of its ass [like with Slayer's ending depicting him just going back to his "world"; it's not that he couldn't return, he just chose to stay as he claimed there was nothing of interest. Xrd appears to circumvents these events entirely.]. But honestly GG's plot never interested me, at least not the primary one they wanted you to care about, I mean Sol's vendetta is simple enough to get invested into and it occasionally has its highs but for me [especially with XX] GG is at its best when its just concerned with character moments. A large amount of the cast have nothing to do with anything the plot is concerned about but remain interesting in their self-contained stories because they have such great moments. And that is what I judge Crow by, not from what the plot tells me his importance is, but by how he stands as an individual, which he does not at all. If it wasn't for his Justice call, I would forget he existed at all. I feel like A LOT of time and space is being wasted on a character that honestly doesn't deserve it [especially since, again, Xrd seems to pretty much circumvent anything that happened in AC+ anyways, and I'm not going to change my opinion on this matter. As stated above, I really don't care about GG's plot, but more for it's character moments which I think it does in spades. I think Baiken has some very amusing interactions with just about anyone they pair her up with and her and Anji are a particularly interesting dynamic. If you think Crow was the most memorable thing in AC+ then wow, ok. But yeah, these are opinions, but don't try to attack something about me personally when you don't know anything about my interests lol, Baiken isn't even my favorite character [from a narrative perspective]. I think anyone and anything can be good, it's just about execution; Crow's debut left a lot to be desired but left such a poor imprint on me that I don't care to see it. We have enough generic bad already.
  6. There's nothing interesting about Crow because he is an obvious last minute and poorly thought out insert, especially prevalent at the effort to try and retcon him hard into the past narrative (oh hey guys, I might be Japanese, and I might have been a brother student of Johnny's master la-li-ho~). He was bland and 1-dimensional and served no real purpose OTHER than making up an unnecessary bs excuse to insert [equally crappy] Justice copies into the narrative, and even then he didn't do ANYTHING of significant value. He is just a poorly conceived character that I really have no interest in seeing ever again [and from the looks of it, Team Red agrees so far]. I'm not sure why you brought up Baiken . . .
  7. You're thinking of Raven, who is actually a cool and relevant character lol. Crow was just some left field, crappy addition for AC+'s story.
  8. I see no reason for Justice to not be [properly] re-introduced into the story, after all she is a huge component of Guilty Gear's core narrative; the Gears and the [still not fully explored] trinity relationship of Sol, The Man, and Aria. Of course a delusional clone is not off the table, but I just think it would really cheapen the impact of a proper Justice reveal. Also Bedman seems like an interesting fellow, especially as we get more tiny glimpses into his involvements; Crow was a genuinely bad character that only existed for the deus ex machina [and totally unnecessary] reason of explaining why Justice[-bots] were roaming around in AC+'s [still pretty terrible and more or less unreferenced] story.
  9. Everyone; no one has more than 1 intro/outro (except Sol, thanks to Dragon Install) but she doesn't always "propose" to a character, if I recall she asks May something to the effect to be introduced to good, marriage material men.
  10. For Japan; just a fight pad (the vocal OST is a pre-order incentive for all versions). The Famitsu DX pack also nets you a wallscroll, clear file, and a strap charm.
  11. Nippon-Yasan!? Heck yeah, along with AmiAmi they're pretty much the only sites I bother importing from (Yasan also has the benefit of selling JPN PSN cards usually at the best or second best rate) Also VastEdge (the pachislot game) does in deed seem very canon.
  12. If you want the Famitsu pack and want to avoid the proxy, you can get it direct from Nippon-Yasan
  13. Quick Rise is like the only good thing I've heard bout Tekken Revolution 2 lol
  14. RAGE ARTS!? POWER CRUSH!? Yo Katarina's movelist, straight mashing lol time to main
  15. HOLY FUK these hit sparks and effects are obnoxious, is this the 3D equivalent to En-Eins!? lol, we get it Bamco, you got a new engine x.x [hopefully these aren't refined yet but how did they clear testing!? D:] Also they copied the gems filter for rage, which is the only thing I didn't like about SFxT .v. Katarina looks interesting, kind of scrub friendly as she was chaining attacks with relative easy; not that this is good or bad yet. Bounds still exist so . . .withholding hype.
  16. Justice has only "died" once, and to be fair, she merely "ceased functioning" during her last encounter with Sol, the Sacred Order sealed her away and that was the end of that.
  17. "Backstabbing co-workers, writing snarky e-mails; it's about intrigue, small victories, and panic attacks." ---Ky on what it's like to be king I'm jazzed for old tracks, and highly but pleasantly surprised at the prospect of possibly not paying for all of them; now to wait for for Conclusion.
  18. No Burger Sheriff!? I am disappoint .v.
  19. So Famitsu confirms what the TGS build hinted at; 2 new characters (1 male, 1 female with the woman being a completely new character while the man's status was not hinted at. Also apparently, at least, the new woman will be rendered in a new in-house software designed to better depict "softness" and "warmth" of bodies . . . beyond creepy subtext I hope this doesn't mean an uneven presentation). They're also billing this as the final DoA5 game, which makes sense since they are developing Last Round for PS4 and X1, so next game should be a full blown sequel.
  20. It's just his a part of his instant kill.
  21. My heart has never felt so toyed with Q.Q
  22. "Poor Ky" my ass, he was a legitimately bad father, caring more about how the people would perceive his affection for his family and practically treating Sin with the same disdain others did. Now you may try and hide behind the fact that "oh, well he's a king, he has to sacrifice for the greater good" but that's a fool's defense and both Sin and Ky himself know it. Ky's recent actions with trying to get Gear-kind accepted has less to do with him being a noble man and everything to do with him being a guilt ridden one. Really sucks that I doubt the more poignant themes such as this will ever get the attention and focus that they deserve.
  23. 5HS(?) Captured from 60fps footage; I'm willing to do more, but it is kind of a tedious task and what we have is limited, so just want to see if anyone has any interest in this first lol
  24. Promotion. Sony determines PS+ content, and if the last 3 trade conferences have taught me anything; Sony is essentially done promoting anything PS3 related [sure more content is coming, but if it doesn't have a PS4 or Vita port, they themselves won't be pushing it]
