Miracle Dome [ Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 ] Port 24 Day-1 tournament I kind of wanna get this game, but the characters I really wanna play are in Enbu .v. though I guess I like Kan'u in vanilla . . . Hate to ask but, how's the netplay? lol
-
No it hasn't lol Not to get [any further than we already are] off topic, but the arcade version has yet to be released, if I recall correctly they are waiting for the current DLC characters to be done.
-
A bit of A-Cho play
-
This right here is why I lost pretty much all interest in Hyde, no more #schwag ass chombos ; -; Yeah . . . and?
-
Enbu is technically the "second" game, featuring 3 new characters and some balance changes.

They're from a prototype build of Xrd. -
Seems like there was a MUCH better selection of tracks [at least for me, compared to the last one] still had no Sheep Will Sleep (,if you become fatigued) but definitely more solid choices all around. I'll definitely buy the DVD/CD for this one, but still waiting on Xrd OST ; -; which probably won't happen till closer to console port orz But knowing some of the Xrd track names will do~
-
Yeah, but we still don't know his face, because mysterious mystery is mysterious. And I am sure The Man is either involved in the larger story mode or at least going to set up the next arc's conflict by the end of this one.

Heck yeah! OG Kunoichi the best! I'm unexplainably hyped for SW4, but her design in other entries make me sad, welp, there's alwasy DLC :\ /offtopic Yeah the old translation just say the new energy source was called "magic" I think the issue with the new translation is it may be too direct and not taking proper localization into consideration . . . Wow, this is very interesting, the style went through so many different iterations [and that's just what they are SHOWING us] before the final product, and I think it is save to say we got the best possible outcome. Interesting that Sol was intended to sport more Vastedge XT looks. I wonder if those models are still in the code and can be used as the first possible alternates? Hell, I'd love a "proto-"filter option XD But I'm really amped for a "material works" book now! .o. -

Wow, they're still referencing the old prolgue? Seems they changed up the translation somewhat though. I like how the Japanese site is all slick and the American version is just . . . functional lol. Hmmm I wonder how far off we are from the game's release, since it seems they are about to kick in the marketing. Though, kinda said there's no immediate implication of more additions, but fingers are always crossed~ -
*sigh* Still, some great matches though!

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
SolxBaiken replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
It's been stated and displayed ever since the announcement, there's pretty much no reason to believe it will drop at a later date. Day 1 digital is pretty much common for all Japanese releases nowadays. -

I don't think you quite understand what I mean by real-time, the models in Xrd are all pre-rendered and the animations are rigged to act in a specific manner every time. In fact, the example you linked [which is really just an example to show that they are indeed using 3D models, still amazing] just goes to further prove my point; when Sol walks back his ponytail flows forward, but the minute he stops it warps back to position without flowing back. Also Ky's clothes flow in a set pattern, to always 1 one flow pattern, it will never deviate from that course. Taking a look at SF4, Decapre's braids aren't constricted, they follow their own movements based off the physics engine and move independently of the rest of the model. Sagat's shorts are the same way, although they puff out around his body, the leggings still move and flow in accordance to the physics engine, not the model itself. This is because SF4's models are rendered in real time, which is why clipping issues can occur. Granted, there is nothing wrong with the way Xrd is rigged, it looks amazing and makes the clipping issue [on a model's self] pretty much non-existent, and I have no qualms about that. However doing the alternate costumes became that much more labor with the use of 2 poly count sets. -

The flag honestly isn't all that big [and looks even a tad shorter than it was in Overture] and it really wouldn't be too hard to place it out of the way or in such a manner to compliment most actions that have been shown thus far. Again, these aren't real-time animations. -

What does Ky's hair have to do with anything? Keep in mind, although they are using 3D models, they are not being animated in real-time, they are pre-rendered and superimposed like traditional 2D sprites. However, I do agree, it probably relates to his overall mechanic, because you can see the flag open up in certain screens. Honestly, I was hoping for his flag to flow in the wind like Order Sol's kilt, oh well. But I do earnestly believe it is folded by default to cut down on his animation process. -
Yes, New Signs of Catastrophe Also it takes time to develop resources for a fighter, and I certainly won't fault a Dev for wanting to branch out and expand their repitoire. Also I'm optimistic that this is the reason that the PS3 version was left vanilla, and ARC/Sony Asia are still publishers, so maybe they wanted to wait on using their Phone a Friend lifeline = w=

So the Vita ver of BattleGrounds is coming this quarter, and the new publishers are debating if there's a market to bring over PBX as well . . .
