Wow I'd download that Tournament file...if it wasn't lazy as crap, seriously I remember when people enjoyed playing their own games, I know you're all hyped to start up some PvP matches but what's the point if you didn't do it yourself? My characters would feel...weird and used I'm currently grinding now so I can start up some casual/tourneys next week. Lightning (40), Prishe (16), Squall (100--from transfer), Ultimecia (26--from transfer) Oh well good new for the competitive scene I guess = 3=

  5. They already released Tifa's DLC, she was a pre-order for basically any place that WASN'T Gamestop (Amazon and Best Buy had her). IF I cared for that outfit I would've preordered from both, pick up both, don't open one and return it to Gamestop, item get! Those some Akiba tactics right there! Although there's still not word on how US will get Squall's 4th and surprisingly we didn't get WoL's 4th >.>
  6. lol MvC3 is the definition of bare minimum in every regard. But you can play Arcade mode and get fight invites, but there's no spectating in Lobby modes, and while the last patch made connection a BIT more consistent for me, the input lag is STILL atrocious.
  7. Can't argue with that = w= Another reason I hated Tifa's chapter was I just didn't like playing as her, I couldn't get the timing of her feints and some of her best moves (early on) are all angle dependent and during the last battle "There is no running from this pain..." x _x
  8. Welp I just beat 012 and I gotta say I'm a little disappointed...it felt far too short and it seems like we're brought in at the end of the conflict rather than the beginning like in 013. Also... Lightning is so tsundere Tifa is an idiot <.< Damn munchkins!

  12. lol ok playing the US 012 with a JPN PSP can be rage inducing sometimes lol you see the PSP is hard programmed to accept O as ok and X as Cancel, but 012's inputs are soft programmed for the opposite so the system's regional preference overwrites it = w= in other words even though X is ok and O is cancel in the NA ver, I have to do the reverse. Because of that some button prompts are wrong visually for me. I spent 3hrs trying to figure out why I couldn't land all of Lightning's EX Burst...whenever I see an X I have to press O and vice-versa... X3
  13. Ok yeah just tested it out, the opponent can tech at the maximum height of the attack, which means.... Erika just became worthless!!! Seriously WTF!? You're right she's definitely unfinished because now all her 623 variants are worthless = x= Well she has a long time before BBB2 even dreams of releasing so hopefully as more is added to the system she turns out better, because right now she's totally bottom tier (of a 3 person game XD--S tier Rouga/A tier Senna/F tier Erika ; A; )
  14. TOO CLASSY! That was just amazing, uwa now BB and this one are tied for 1st = w= (the BB one has Lightning and Prishe, otherwise I would've bumped it down to 2 :3)
  15. This was awesome... But this was better! I'd actually kill to get my hands on some of the artwork used in it (particularly the Lightning parts and the Prishe and Shanotto piece ^^) Uwa just spent the last 5hrs playing Prologus (kinda blew it off for God Eater ) and now I'm totally accustomed to Lightning, although I still hate the Paradigm Shift system (both in XIII and 012...) but I'll be maining her until I get my Prishe :3 So I'm totally ready to pick it up in the morning! = w= Also can we get a show of hands of people who plan to ad-hoc party on here? *raises hand*

I consider this just like a loketest, and updates on BBB2 are so few and far in between anyways :< I only jotted down those two combos because well Erika can pretty much land anything into a 63214+C which naturally would lead into a 623+C and you can either loop it a bit for just end it with 63214+D. Like another combo start is 6A>6B>and your choice of 63214+C or 623+C = w= and so on. Right now she's not to flashy and either 63214+C needs a SLIGHT nerf (I love it but I think it's a little too crazy) or proration needs to increase on it to make the look ineffective sooner. I'm trying to figure out good combos (that don't end in loop) with her assists but it's hard since Saki (A) is so instant and she knocks your opponent down so low that pretty much 623+C is your only option to continue the assault. And Shoko (B) has a bad window of attack; first you have to do the summon animation (effectively stopping your combo) then she has to run on screen and finally attack. Sure she can't be knocked but she can be easily avoided if your not in a corner; but she can attack from across the screen making an approach a bit easier. They can work pretty well together and if you time it carefully you can 214+B>214+A>into 6A chain. Also damn them for giving her a "Haku-hop" instead of a dash >.< Also they need to remove 623+A and/or B I can understand her having one variant but they are basically the same thing and you can only end combos with them, the C ver is the only one I see you'll be using though. I like her attacks but they need to give her more control and options, like what's the point of having 41236+A if I can only do ONE thing afterwords? I mean you can't even use it to start a new combo (despite it pulling the opponent forward). But alas this is but an early build, I do hope they'll release more of these public demos as I look forward to seeing Erika evole! (She's actually one of my 3 favorite BBA characters so I'm glad she made it into BBB2!) Also it's hard to do all this testing by myself :< (has no one to play with and I have to basically setup situations with my feet lol = w=)
  19. I will definite be using Erika when the full game releases, thanks dobiqwolf for the heads up! My observations on Erika: With the current system in general I'm hesitant to comment since this is such an early build, but I really hope elements from the first BBB return like being able to charge your B-Power gauge and ALL attacks consuming said gauge, as well as being able to "overflow" your gauge into missing health sections. Air dashing is far too heavy for my liking, at this point it's better the just super jump. Erika needs more supers!!! But overall I'm liking what I see so far = w=
  20. Aww Blade don't be mad at me = 3= Prishe sounds ok in battle but in cutscenes (at least that one) was just, ugh... And for the record I don't really care for Hirano's take either, lol for once I hate both versions of the dub = w=

Very much so, she would've benefited greatly from any of those things, I'm actually shocked they gave her crap movements options compared to Wesker (seeing how they're essentially on the same level in RE5) and I'm also shocked at the lack of gun-play :< would've been nice for her to have a projectile (that's not a hyper). Also what Machine Gun Spray lacks is damage and hit consistency it makes up for in pure awesome, this is pretty much the ultimate escape since the first 20 frames are invincible pretty much nothing get get her even at late activation (I once escaped Ryu's Shin Hadouken even through I was already being blasted = w=). It's also godly in DHC should you make a bad call. I actually now have less love for Raven Spike as you really do need to be comboing to guarantee a hit, otherwise 8/10 you're just wasting meter. Jill's not so much more complicated as she just needs alot more than most of the cast does, like for approaching she needs a good projectile assist (right now I'm running Shuma/Jill/Filicia and mystic ray assist into 236+H is great seeing how it can't be punished least you get hit by one of them since mystic is "delayed" since it swipes)
