  1. MH discussions and food topic discussions now available in the 808 thread, lol. http://www.gametrailers.com/game/monster-hunter-4/15484 YT version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v2hoUuJ9aM Shit looks crazy...
  2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_musubi RKT 'dessert musubi' is pretty good stuff. - make 2 separate RKT layers with a musubi press/mold. - assemble RKT musubi with one layer of RKT on the bottom of the press/mold. - add filling of cholce (whipped cream, ice cream, etc.) - place the second layer of RKT on top of the filling in the press/mold. - slide out RKT musubi from the press/mold with the press part. - ???? - PROFIT It's more or less an RKT 'dessert sandwich' in the end though, lol.
  3. I had some rice krispies treats yesterday. They were good, lol. It's funny though. I usually end up making a batch of RKT for other people, rather than for myself, like for parties/get-togethers. RKT along with spam musubi was like the winning combo for lunch on school field trips, lol.
  4. Probably. DO IT! lol. Base recipe for RKT is: - 3 tbsp. of butter/margarine - 1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows - 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal I usually make RKT with the following: a half stick of butter, 1 package of regular marshmallows, and usually the entire contents of a 12oz. box of RK cereal. I've actually wanted to try using other breakfast cereals in place of RK or as a mix with a RK base. Make a batch of the Reeses puffs treats and let us know the results. The real question is this though: Would you entrust your Felynx kitchen to make a batch of cereal treats for you to eat (for stat boosts), prior to going out on a quest to hunt for monsters? lol.
  5. I made a batch on Saturday. I ate about half of it by myself, lol. Maybe next time I will do a half/half batch or even just a cocoa rice krispies batch. Me using 日本語 in my last post probably had people going
  6. あなたはだれですか?
  7. Rice Krispies Treats... So good!
  8. *hands furix supply potions and hot drinks* *kuro drinks a hot drink and uses a whetstone* LET'S DO THIS
  9. Got it. I'm coming back now.
  10. BRB Gonna farcaster back to camp and grab some hot drinks.
  11. I need a ruby too... Where did it go? Did it go into the cave?
  12. I'm out of sonics... Did you get the tail?
  13. This land is swampy. Pitfall trap won't work. I hit him with a paintball though.
  14. I don't wanna attract any large Piscine wyverns. Gotta avoid that hip check hitbox. The croc will probably act like a Narga on land. Maybe even do the Lavasioth 'land shuffle.'
  15. I'll bring some sonic bombs.
  16. RE: My POV on teaching GG stuffs On the subject of me possibly teaching GG stuffs, my interest in doing so has considerably waned over the last few years, mainly due to past experiences which have left me jaded to some extent. However, I would probably consider some sort of teaching/mentoring role (though reluctanly/hesitantly) if the following criteria were met: - People have to already be playing GG on their own accord. - People really have to have a genuine/sincere interest in wanting to learn/play GG. - People really have to express that they want to learn/play GG. - People really have to put in the time and effort to learn/play GG. This determines whether I decide to take you seriously or not, otherwise it will be a waste of everyone's time and effort. I don't know what Bears' stance is in regard to possibly teaching GG stuffs... For all I know, he could probably share the same sentiment, lol. Some experiences that make me reluctant to teach GG to other people: Self-explanatory, but I could tell the story (LSS version via points) in another post if people actually want to hear it, lol. Another one is the "ihpsta arc" of the DL 808 thread. Basically, he was someone that was somewhat interested in GG but didn't really put that much effort into learning/playing GG, especially since that someone: - Had trouble picking a main and sticking with them long enough to possibly learn that char. (Though Bears and I gave him suggestions to his questions, it was ultimately up to him to decide for himself and follow though with his char choice, which he didn't.) - Didn't really play much GG when it was present at HVGL stuffs when Bears and King33 were there. (IIRC he mostly played SF4 and was, "Too scared to play Bears at GG.") - Didn't play me at GG when I flew up to Oahu for a weekend. Missed out on the HYPE. (Bears and I played GG though and it was HYPE. So was DB.) - Says that he's: - IIRC he only played one actual GG match. ONE SINGLE MATCH ONLY. (Also didn't even use his 'main' at the time too.) - After that and AFAIK he never played GG again, much less post up in the DL 808 thread ever again, lol. (Waipahu too far...) The 'teaching' aspect is another thing entirely. I'm self-taught; that is, I learned/developed my skillset/mindset on my own. No one really taught me how to play FGs here in Hawaii, so I basically learned/researched/practiced stuff by myself with whatever resources were available to me. Because of that, I think I have developed a particular and distinct POV based on all the time and effort I put into learning/playing GG. That POV also affects my outlook when it comes to FG scene stuffs, in Hawaii anyway. Outside of Bears for some FG stuffs, I've more or less flown solo in my FG ventures, besides some brief periods of time when there was a similar interest in a FG between others and myself, though limited and always fleeting. If you guys/girls are actually interested in wanting to learn GG and play GG with us (myself and Bears), you kinda have to prove it, hence the criteria part. Wanna try out GG? Ask Bears to bring his GG set-up to HVGL the next time he decides to go down and visit. No PS2 stick/controller? Ask Bears if you can use his stick (I think HVGL Jeff might have a PS2 stick there plus a PS2 and a copy of GGAC to play, as well as controllers) and try stuff out. Have questions about some GG stuff? Ask us here in the thread (or even in the GG forums if you decide you want to get serious with GG.) This is just a list of some of the things you can do in the meantime, but if you decide that you want to get serious with GG, you're probably gonna have to get your own PS2 stick(modded or stock)/controller + copy of GGAC + PS2. In the end, it's up to you if you really want to learn/play GG.
  17. > Watches the P4U trailer. It looks alright... > Does not see any Aigis gameplay... WTF?! I see Yukiko and Kanji, who haven't really been officially announced, but no Aigis? SMH. Mitsuru...
  18. I will be addressing some GG stuffs soon... Late night GG is HYPE. You saw Akureikaze? Did you tell him that you and I played some Melty (and that it was HYPE) when I flew up to Oahu, back in June?
  19. There are Kelbi and Bullfango in Hawaii. A Village Chief in the Philippines has a request for hunters to hunt large crocodiles. DO YOU ACCEPT THIS QUEST?
  20. I spent around $190 for airfare the last time I flew up to Oahu, which was back in June. Current inter-island airfare rates in Hawaii =
  21. Send GG players to Hawaii.
  22. I mainly used Lance (from back in PS2 MH online days) and sometimes used HBG/LBG, Bows, DS, and other stuff from time to time. Teostra gear does look pretty on girls. Fuck fighting Teostra though, lol. PS2 MH online was fun. Online Player: You use lance? Me: Yeah. OL Player: Can you 'lock'? Me: Yeah OL Player: Wanna do (dual) los/ian? Me: Sure, whatever. OL Player: Cool. Good times.
  23. Video edit with the MH theme added would be hype. The DL Fatalis quests were the ones you can kill him in one try, right? I don't have those. (borrowed MHFU stuffs from a friend when I last played) Last thing I remember doing when I played MHFU was doing runs for various stuff. I think I had something like 12 extra BEDJs to make whatever. G-Rank Gold/Silver in Arena runs with HBG were fun. As was 'farming' G-Rank Chams for BEDJs, lol.
  24. I kinda want to play some MH now, lol. *goes to the Guild Hall to post up a G-Rank quest from MHFU* (last MH I played) Any requests? EDIT: For some reason, I was hoping the guy that hosts 'River Monsters' (Jeremy Wade) had something to do with the capture of the croc, lol.
  25. LOL A wild 'furix' has appeared! WAT DO *cues MH battle music* I was actually thinking of posting that newslink in the Austin thread cause I remember some of you guys having convos about MH stuffs.
