While watching UFC stuffs this past weekend, I had the Spike VGA 2010 show on as background noise (which more or less should be renamed the North American VGA, lol). The show was 'lulz' as expected. I think the only thing that I was somewhat interested in was the world premiere trailer for SSX: Deadly Descents and even then I was like after watching it. So far, I am not digging: - The 'Deadly Descents' title. - The current 'vibe', which comes off as possibly having an 'edgier' feel with the trailer's presentation. What I'm hoping for: - More info/gameplay, lol. - Kaori as a returning char. - A good soundtrack. - The game to be fun. - Another 'Untracked' course with Finished Symphony as the soundtrack, lol. *goes off to play some SSX 3*

What is there to 'hype', besides the SADLIFE that is 808 BB stuffs? LOLZ OH SHIT. BLAST. YOU HAVE BEEN PUT ON IT.

Addendum to my previous post: MvC3 The addition of C.Viper is pretty nice. +1 to the number of chars I'm possibly interested in playing as, lol. BBCS LOL @ the delay for Platinum the Trinity DLC until Spring 2011.

My thoughts on some video game news stuffs: Fighting games edition. SSF4:AE The inclusion of 'Evil Ryu' and 'Shin Akuma' (playable or non-playable) is kinda lolz, but whatever. Some of the Makoto changes are nice though. MvC3 Jill Valentine as a DLC char!? RE5 version though... Eh, whatever. There was a list/poll of Capcom chars that Japanese players wanted in MvC3 that was posted up a while ago, and the results were pretty interesting. I liked some of their choices/picks. MK9 The announcement of Kratos as an addition to the roster as a guest char(?) in the PS3 version, is strange... Besides the 'console exclusivity' stuffs (lol 360), there is a debate going on about MK9's 'kredibility' as a possibly 'kompetitive' game, partially because of this decision. AH3 I don't really care for the 'Network Mode' stuffs cause I probably won't be playing this game online, lol. The possibility of 'split community sites' for AH3 stuffs is somewhat lolz.

ROFL It's funny. I was gonna say something along the lines of: "What if the next PC Gamerz event just happened to be when Mystic d comes back and he wouldn't be able to attend it?" SAD LIFE

The Walking Dead S1 finale: It feels like I watched a RE: Outbreak scenario, or something.

*refrains from posting more references to P4* Almost had some 'talk story' going with Persona stuffs, lol. The Top Chef: All Stars premiere was pretty hype. Kinda wish that some (or all) of the following chefs were included as part of the All Stars cast: Sam (S2) Stefan (S5) Kevin (S6) Kenny (S7) For some reason, in regard to the All Star cast (and TC chef-testants in general), I think of grouping them up into KOF-style teams and stuff, lol.

I don't think the 'Midnight Channel' exists outside of P4, lol. If you've played P4, you'd probably get the reference I was trying to make. If not, don't worry about it.

Hilo is kinda like Inaba (town in P4), in regard to weather stuffs anyway.

My island gets snow, lol. Well, only during the winter season anyway. Big Island weather can be RANDOM at times, depending on where you are at and what time it is at present. (Early Afternoon) It's sunny and the sky is clear. Oh, some clouds are gathering. Looking a bit overcast now. Hmm... light showers. I hope it doesn't ra-- *starts raining* *rain begins to let up and stops* Well, it looks like the rain has stopped... *the sky begins to darken with more clouds gathering...* ...For now. (Mid Afternoon) *insert more rain stuffs* FLASH FLOOD WATCH/WARNING IN EFFECT (if applicable). *The rain lessens and fog begins to appear...* Huh? Fog? I can barely see the road now while I'm driving. *passes through a small town, shrouded in fog* *white noise is heard through the car's speakers* WTF? This can't be... Silent Hill? *keeps driving though the town and doesn't stop* (Interlude) (Late Afternoon) A mostly clear sky, with some clouds here and there. WTF? It's not raining over here? *the sun is still bright and beginning to set* I can't see. The sun is blinding me! One of my many experiences driving across the Big Island.

Is the weather on Oahu being 'random' or something? lol. Let's see... Last week, there were some rain stuffs over here, but no 'rain+vog' combo, AFAIK. Something RANDOM would be for some hail to happen again, lol. Will more Hawaii people post up now since there is some convo/activity in the DL 808 thread? Stay tuned...

The part of the combo that you have trouble with: (specifically they tech between j.H -land- j.K) is/was the same problem that Effenhoog had when he made a reference to the combo in the "JO vs DI" match vid he had posted. I then replied with the following post: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?3175-AC-Combos&p=451372&viewfull=1#post451372 Basically, after the Ice Spike FRC hits the opponent, the follow-up IAD j.2S>j.H needs to hit your opponent when they are low in the air, in order to follow-up with a j.K>air combo after you land from the IAD stuffs. You are probably hitting your opponent higher up in the air with the IAD j.2S>j.H, which allowed them to tech before you could connect with the follow-up j.K>air combo. It may seem tricky at first, but with enough practice (against various chars), you should be able to get a 'feel' for how the IAD j.2S>j.H hits and then be able to follow-up with a j.K>air combo afterwards.

Yup. It was back in November 2009, that a friend and I stumbled upon a DB cab at a local mall arcade. We then played a lot of DB over the course of 3 days, lol. Good times.

Kinda hard to tell since barely any of them have posted up in here as of late, or will ever do so again, lol. Oh well...

IMO, more like "focused casuals", from my POV anyway, lol. And even then, only a few people actually show up just to play BB casuals, which is usually run alongside SSF4 stuffs, IIRC.

@Bears Run GG casuals anyway. Unless you want to be 'sadlife' and only play BB, lol. @King33 AFAIK, CS is played via PS3 at the HVGL casuals, provided someone brings it down. IIRC, Bears brings his stuff down to play GG. Dunno about the upcoming PC Gamerz CS tourney though...

Somewhat RANDOM KOEI news stuffs: DW7 Hmmm... I am possibly interested in this. Xing Cai is announced as a char, and hopefully Yue Ying is announced later and added to the 'Shu' roster as well. It's been a while since I last played a DW game. I think the last game I played was a bit of DW5 and before that a lot of DW4. Main reason I stopped playing DW was because of SW, lol. SW3 HYPE for PS3 port! *Halloween stuffs* LOL @ the candy stuffs. I had... cookies. I should've made a batch of Rice Krispies Treats, or something.
