Yeah... BB in the 808 is hella SADLIFE. LOL I don't have much hype for the console version of CS. I'll probably give the game a try though, whatever. As you can see, this thread is kinda RANDOM in activity. Currently, only about 3-4 people from the 808 actually post up in here to 'talk story'. If you are looking for BB casual matches, maybe the other guys might be interested cause they dabble a bit in BB, but they are more inclined toward playing GG though, lol. What other FGs do you play?

I didn't sleep for 2 days this past weekend. Highlights: - Played through RE5 in co-op mode from start to finish. - Played a session of SSF4 after already being awake for 24 hrs following the completion of RE5. Thoughts: RE5 - More or less RE4 on a larger scale, with an option for co-op play. - Gears of War + RE4 = RE5 aka 'Gears of Evil'. SSF4 - Makoto... - Shit is still wack, lol. WTF Capcom.

I haven't seen the sun and sky for about a week now, lol. On the east side, that's normal weather because the volcano is on that side and it's rains somewhat often because of the vog and overcast conditions. The west side where I'm at is usually clear sky with some sporadic cloud activity. Vog comes over here with wind assist and makes an overcast sky look even darker with the haze in the air. Weather conditions here are somewhat wack at times. It can be a really nice clear sky with sun and some cloud activity, then change to 'Silent Hill'-esque weather depending on where you are at on the island, particularly the east (Hilo) and northern (Waimea/Hamakua) areas of the island. I've RANDOMLY played some SSF4 with a friend that picked up the game. Currently using: Makoto Randomly using: C. Viper, Sakura, Juri, E. Honda. Shit is wack, lol. HBB only has a CT cab and even then barely anyone goes down there to play the game. You are SOL for CS action in the 808 until the console version is released, lol.

There's a BBCT cabinet at HBB (Hawaiian Brian's Billiards). Dunno if people still go down there to play it though since there is barely a BB scene here, lol. I think the MB cabinet might still be there too.

So... What's good? Anyone playing SSF4? The weather has been pretty sad life lately. Overcast + Vog = depressing

Right now, my interest level is minimal. You guys seem pretty hyped for it though, lol. What anime mechas do you guys like? I watch some anime shows every now and then; both new series and old series stuff. Too many shows, lol.

So, any thoughts about the MvC3 announcement? And speaking of Kawaii Kon, do any of you guys follow any anime/manga stuffs?

Sounds like the RANDOM GG casuals at Kawaii Kon were FREE, lol. If Bears and I were there as well, it probably would've been overkill.

I like Asuka and Lili though. - I kinda wanted to try out some SC4, mainly to play as Hilde and try out her 'ring out combo' stuffs. - I didn't pay much attention to the April Fools 'CVS3 announcement', though the April Fools 'Arcana Heart X BlazBlue crossover announcement' was LOL. - I sometimes watch UFC stuffs. Are you watching the new season of TUF? 'House' too, but I haven't been following it lately. - Besides Anji and Venom, which other char(s) would you want to learn/pick up to play as? - I'm guessing that you plan to play as Bang in CS? lol. As far as that 'petition/support for BBCS' goes, only about 3-4 people have shown any interest at all. Console version of CS comes out in July, which is only a few months away, lol.

Jeff is interested in GG now? LOL. The rule list you posted is fine with the main points being: -EX, Gold, Shadow characters aren't allowed -Kliff and Justice are banned. Just use a copy of AC w/o a memory card loaded. Is he gonna run a tournament or something? I expect RANDOM casuals at best, especially if he is running other games there like SF4 and T6.

- If you're gonna learn Miyako in MBAA, you might as well just learn Jam too, lol. I guess I could freestyle her in casuals... - You can have F-Miyako and H-Kohaku. - In regard to 3D FG's, I've dabbled in a few of them but I'm only somewhat interested in VF and to a lesser extent Tekken. - 'Legend of the Seeker' is pretty cool, 'Kitchen Nightmares' is pretty hype when Ramsay has full K-Groove stocked, and 'Fringe' is pretty interesting. 'SGU' comes back on next week, as does 'V'. I should just make a list of all the shows on cable that I like to watch, lol. Also, in the 808 thread on SRK, it appears Ihpsta is trying to garner interest/support in the form of an online petition to get BBCS into FunWorks. This probably means that Ihpsta has quit GG and has gone back to BB, lol.

It's been a while since I've last commented on a vid, lol. Stag.S (DI) vs. Recna (AB) 1st Match Round 1 0:29 to 0:31 / Nice air to ground combo here. Round 2 1:07 / Possible opportunity for oki after the 2D KD if you utilized the special cancel for fish summon or bubble. 1:08 to 1:11 / Missed opportunity for a combo to KD after the CH j.H hit. But the 5D afterwards for the dust combo/bubble loop attempt was good though. 1:22 to 1:24 / Nice throw to put AB into the corner here. Why no HP fish for oki though? 1:35 / Possible opportunity for a Ice Spike FRC follow up combo here for the win with DI. 1:50 / Special cancelled Ice Spike after 2D is nice. Round 3 2:00 to 2:04 / Good string/combo here to carry AB to the corner. 2:05 / Slight delay in utilizing fish summon for oki here, probably due to summon recovery period. Possible substitution with homing pike/bubble instead. 2:10 / Nice AT after the tech. 2nd Match Round 1 2:57 / I think you meant to do an IAD j.2S here as part of your mixup for corner oki. 3:02 / Possible Ice Spike FRC follow up combo here for the win OR special cancelled fish summon for oki after the 2D KD instead of after the Ice Spike KD OR short combo to grab OD after either of the low hits connected. Round 3 6:51 / Was this supposed to be a IAD j.2S instead of a IAD j.S? 7:05 / Nice throw after the OD usage by AB here. 7:07 to 7:09 / Good bubble oki here, though I think you maybe could've gone straight to Ice Spike here for KD instead of after 5H OR even use Imperial Ray OD for unburstable KD scenario. Some comments: - Needs more FRC stuffs, mostly to cover Ice Spike usage. - 2D special cancel stuff: You land 2D for KD often enough, follow up with a fish summon/bubble so you can go straight into oki instead of using Ice Spike afterwards. - Utilize more stuff for zoning like TK bubbles or scythes when applicable to compliment fish summons/homing pike tactics. Also, utilize 'held' homing pike a bit more to cover other summons you might have out at the same time or to zone and limit opponent's approach. - Oki could be more consisent at times. HP fish is usually the optimal summon choice in the corner, though bite fish stuffs (P/K fish variants) can also work too. Follow through with IAD j.2S stuffs as well cause you missed it a few times when you went for H/L mixups. - Don't IAD j.2S too much as your approach method without summon coverage cause you can get hit out of it by AA attacks. Dash jump>AD is good for movement options as an alternative approach method. That's about it. Aggro Dizzy indeed, lol. I'll probably comment on the other vid later.

If you manage to get GG/MBAA casuals going at the next HVGL event, try to get some of the matches up on the stream so I have something to watch, lol. GG is SRS BIZ. As far as my EVO plans go, I'm in the same boat as Bears, so we'll see how that goes.
