With IAD you're jumping over the GF.
-
If you're on the ground you're not gonna reach him within those 50 frames though...
-
I've always seen kaqn jump out of GF pressure.
-
Yeah, when I showed it to someone he looked at me like "WHAT THE FUCK?"
-
It's not that easy really. GB will crossup when: 1.Opponent is in standing guard 2.Opponent is FDing in any guard 3.Opponent attempts a standing impact guard 4.Early GB on their wake up GB will not crossup when: 5.Opponent is in crouching normal guard and case 4 does not apply 6.Opponent attempts a crouching impact guard and case 4 does not apply 7.Opponent attempts a slashback and case 4 does not apply.
-
The same applies HJI, kaqn did it, but it was near the end of his OS career.
-
OS has a lot of options to give chase to an opponent that's teching or trying to escape. Generally you don't need to sacrifice damage for knockdown. Though remember that any sweeprange knockdown ends up in GB setup, which is still the pinnacle of his mixups.

ty, got it.
-
btw, could you reupload the crimson combo movie to stroke the big tree? I've asked but saw no reply and only just now saw that TB requested it and did get a reply.
-
That would be appreciated, it would surely save us a lot of youtube gayness.
-
MADNESS? THIS IS ... YOUTUBE!!! :yaaay:

This is what you get for posting combo movies with j-pop in them, combo movies like those should always be ignored. Anyways, you probably got banned because you were popular and expensive to them. The same happened to Myke on VFDC who got his filefront account banned for putting beta vids from Virtua Fighter 5 on his account(he was in the top 8 mirror list in japan).

Yeah, but I said you do 6K after doing a move that whiffs due to his backdash. That 6K won't work if you do it before he backdashes, then even on block the recovery is rather horrid.
-
Backdash buster can kill anyone really, don't try heavy moves on him so you recover quickly enough to jump, 6K or SV. If you're in the air when you expect a backdash from him you can airdash towards him with j.P-S-etcetc. The FB usually is only a problem when you jump in and attack to early, do jump in P(doubletap if possible), you'll get a single P that whiffs. Then go for j.H which is at the right height that if your opponent tries shit you'll be able to guard. Now if your P would hit your opponent it's usually because your opponent jumped as well, thanks to the doubletap you get 2 Ps and you're able to continue with K,dj.K-S,SV.
-
If you can do that one Darcius, perhaps you want to try this one: GB AC FRC S-H sj.S-H, l2SV. My favorite is GB 5H (ji) sj.S-H-D,dj.P-H, SV

Ghost generally lock down an opponent and prevent him making any moves, especially in a corner. Theoretically anyways...

disaster tourism Netherlands you could go to for the same reason, just a different kind. You could also go there for the drugs, or to play GG vs me and a few others.
-
Fixed!!! And btw, l2GB or any GB done in the open is throwable, that's why the only times you should be doing it is when you know your opponent will not be able to throw you on reaction(for example, when he's BHBing).
-
That's still better then 1 Sol, 1 OS, 1/2 Millia's, 1 Ky, 1 Pot and 1 Jam where the last two are most likely retired.
-
2S 6H RC 5S©2S5H, IAD.P-S-H, 5S-H/2D does 200 or so, works only against standing opponents that can be hit by IAD combos outside juggles. Once I find a better one I'll let you know.
-
6:22 I know why you're doing it, but I'm telling you it can confuse people. And with many of these combos easier alternatives are easy to find.

You made 2 major errors in there: You explained the j.P as a CH baiter, it doesn't really work that way, well, it could, perhaps one time(against decent opponent) but after that they would generally just guard, but in general: no. The j.P makes the timing on the j.H stricter, so that when the thing hits or whiffs OS is immediately on the ground, this makes it excellent against moves like judge gauntlet and other invincible crap. Being able to do this outside okizime situations is too my knowledge unique to OS, I can't pinpoint the reason why that is, but probably because OS jumps so low and so fast. You explained the installed sj as something that can occur when a normal jump isn't doublejumped. But you can force the installed superjump by using 829, 929 or 729, this I've defended in great detail in the slash era where some ass told me over and over the thing was useless. The vid itself was pretty good, though I suggest you stick with the proper combos rather then showing 16 different possibilities because it might confuse beginners, if they want different things their own creativity should be put at work. And if there really is such a demand, I'd be happy to make a vid like that:P
