Hintalove: I'm not saying SV is the attack full of magic and flulff, but it will bother Millia quite a bit. She can't just do the same thing she can do against characters that don't have such a move at their disposal and dealing with SV makes her play OS's game. As for the double airdash vs land 2K/S mixup, if there's no disc covering her at this point, that mixup point should also be a SV point. You need to be good at IGing to do that though, if you feel manly you could go for slashback.
-
Yes it still defeats 70% of her mixup, you just ran into the other 30%
-
Delayed S disc? Was it backdashable?:P Or was it sweepable?
-
The ring has to be blue or SV evades it.
-
I'd say its in OS's favor, because SV blocks 70% of Millia's mixup game(which is what makes her strong).
-
Yeah, but a minor detail: while both prevent 6P hit you, FD makes you lose tension. And he can get quite a string from there, so you'll lose a lot more then you'd usually like. So what's the point in doublejump FD?
-
So far I haven't seen 6P do that much damage, the fact he gets a ball with it is more worrying tbh. And doesn't doublejump run more risks then a backdash? Since if he decides to do 6P even more delayed he'd still hit you.
-
A juggle 6H is untechable and knocks down with the speed of lightning and a OTG 6H does not knockdown and if it doesn't kill the opponent allows him to tech towards you and punish you.
-
Depends on what side they end up on and on the distance, so it varies from sji combo to dustloop to 5H j.H-D,dj.D BRP. If the situation calls for it I might even do a l3TR after it. If you hit the l2SV in SV AC FRC l2SV mixup in the corner you can convert to dustloop. This makes it kind of a big thread in the corner since its counter mixup (SV AC FRC throw) also goes to dustloop.
-
You could also try to jump 5S(f) and if he didn't do it, backdash out to avoid 6P imo.

Arrogance? Hmmm, yeah, that one I hear a lot, can't really fix it. Again, asleep = autopilot and I didn't know what he was doing to begin with. Saturday morning I was a bit more consistent, though I could barely beat him yeah. As for SVs or my playstyle, you don't have to like it; I have to like it and that's it. Though I agree, SVs against Johnny are pretty much pointless most of the cases, though sometimes I saw a mistake from him with distancing and other times he was a weeeee bit predictable with trying to stop my attacks. Backdash 5K from Johnny is pretty strong against OS though, especially when mixed up with non backdash moves. The years before I actually barely SVed, for kinda like what you said, they were unsafe and what not. But learning to use them turns out to be key because it can take away 80% of some people's games. Though that goes by experience, not by theory:P EDIT: I remembered the case where I asked how he knew about my dash in SV, he kicked me out of 4 previous dashes so I went like, "fuck it, SV time" and he guarded.

Does anyone know where I can find the vid that showed OS+slidehead bug?
-
?:P You still haven't checked pm I suppose? Anyways, its not about copying my style, though surprisingly he is also a l1 player that opts to higher levels if he deems necessary(I mean, that's kinda the scary resemblance:P). Its about basics, the way he moves, things he does in general, that kind of stuff. Oh, and Champion could easily be better then me at OS if he learned his matchups:P
-
Seems I was totally mistaken, despite sharing both the same basic play Champion's way of learning it was not through me. Oh well, he was still the only one at the event(not counting Cue which seemed interesting but was playing really risky) that had proper basics like me. The guide is not a sure way to win, its an explanation on what options OS has in what situations, where the mind games are etc etc.
-
Perhaps not on paper but your OS looks a LOT like mine:P You got several tricks that make yours unique but the general stuff is there. I don't even know why this is, its not like I'm the perfect example anyways:P
-
fkw12: what you explained(didn't see the example yet) is kinda what my intention is. And the link is broken it seems.
-
I-no talk? All I got is, her air to air sucks, so if you stay above here she can't really hurt you unless she has half a bar tension. To get out of the mixups, all I got is IG and storm viper out, once she starts baiting there's no longer a guard string for you to block and you're home free.
-
No, its not about the styles, its about what those players got and don't use or use wrongly. For example, most new players try to spam specials against their opponent(and I make them quit that pretty quickly of course; sweep ftw).
-
Its kinda what I said, other then that its hard to explain. People I see play start off with the wrong ideas and with the wrong basics and are impaired in places they shouldn't be.
-
Stop the hate? I remember you couldn't resist starting a flamewar on me... Actually, it started with something like "Ahahah". Did you also know that when going to these tournaments you don't just travel for competition? You travel to see people, have fun with them, play with them; the competition is just a tiny matter. If you want to live in your own world then go ahead, but then don't fucking bother me(and stfu).
-
Champion, who's main isn't even OS, which makes it even worse. He nerved out during the tournament though. HBS: so despite your colleagues thinking it was worth it to go there when they decided to go, you thought it was a waste of your time and money? Despite also hearing that most of the top teams were present there? You know, that if you say this is a waste of time, you imply you suck really badly right?
-
IMO... Give me a real excuse or shut the fuck up.
-
Ahahah I like how you can draw the wrong conclusions despite me saying I actually do lack experience. If you feel I suck so much, why didn't you pwn me @ B3C? The reason I think a rewrite is in order is not because my own theory sucks, its because my theory works and everyone else's sucks; except for one, who got a majority from his theory from me. In my honest opinion the guides I've seen so far don't tell people where to start and quite frankly, if I said anything about that I'd get retards like you flying at me(and I still do get retards like you flying at me). As for the experience I've gained I'll write it up in the proper threads after finishing the basic guide. So that people can actually learn things rather then sit here watching posts like yours. TB: you posted before I finished my post, but OK, will do. Do you know about a good blog site(aka, enjoyable to write and read)?
-
Well, so far none of the guides explain to you what to do and when to do it. It misses kinda where to start when you start playing OS. It misses OS's basic and advanced staple games. I will write my own guide soon, perhaps things will become more clear.

MrBroken(CH), reaVer(OS), Cue(ED) Kekken(ZA), Champion(SO), OneMoveWonder(JA) And Nooj got broken by MrBroken who didn't play the game for 1.5 years btw(sry). Its on vids:) And the matches ARE awesome:D
