I remember a couple of people had avatars like that from way back from during my lurking days. There's another one with Anji and/or Axl I believe, and I think there was also a Ky one. This will definitely require a bit of sleuthing but it might be best to just cancel until one of us finds something like it.

It's an arcade game. Those almost never have the popularity of an actual retail game. The game is still good, but a lot of SF4 players who were new to it kinda got turned off by how difficult the game felt.

Surely you jest. The only porting issues I found were the K.O. sound glitch and the character Twelve morphs into with X.C.O.P.Y not sounding distorted.

Just saw PJS' archive of CT Reconstruction -Some of the new recording tools they use make the voices sound slightly tinny. -Cristina is still Nu, and I must say her performance is undeniably better this time around. She's put a lot more emphasis on how lustful/yandere Nu is towards Ragna. Superior to her old CT performance by a mile. -Rachel is back to Mela Lee. -The brief scene with Takamagahara after the first fight is done by Michelle Ruff. -Jamieson Price (Tager) provides the opening narrative.

I am honestly considering dropping BlazBlue once this comes out at most, and just not playing it as often at least. This is the ultimate compensation for screwing me out of $40 for what could have been DLC in the first place like Arcade Edition. Thank you and fuck you, ASW.

In celebration of GGAC+'s announcement, I think it's time for a new avatar. If anybody remembers those gifs where Sol Fafnirs another GG character and says "Fucking *insert something here*. Relius should say something about himself that makes him similar to Eddie or something like the Testament one.

It tried pretty hard tp keep the spirit of the original translation but somewhere along the line it's just not the same.

Given the extremely short time frame between the JP and US releases of Extend, maybe ASW decided that they should just translate it themselves to save time and/or trouble.

As everybody here is aware, I'm sure, the patch for CS2 as well as the PSP/3DS version introduced new dialogue, but some characters had a couple of lines that had completely different VAs. Wow, the SC online community is filled with all sorts of undesirables. I got kicked for getting a winstreak against some weeaboo kid (set his region to Japan, even) who made a Kisame (Naruto) and Mihawk (One Piece CAS and his girlfriend. I'm thankful I don't take this game seriously, and just make character edits.

Just got my first hatemail. I started using Ezio in Ranked and clutched against a somewhat decent Pyrrha player. The instant the match ends he sends me a voice message and calls me garbage for mashing, which I did to a certain extent as I normally do with characters I'm not too familiar with. He was extremely salty. EDIT: Got another one, this time from a Nightmare player who had beat me barely by ring-out Flapjack in a previous match. He was a typical shooter kid who taunted and teabagged after he won. After I got my due revenge he said my connection was bad. Which it wasn't.

Just saw a Captain Falcon CAS while doing Player Matches. Also as a reminder, the 2nd equipment pack and music DLC comes out in about 8 hours. The 3rd and 4th music pack contains 5 songs each from SC2 and SC3. So I heard from the guide that Cervantes' strategy in this game is now about landing instant Psycho Crushers because without them he's very linear and predictable. I would definitely agree since they took out a lot of his teleport shit and easy attacks from 4. After going into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for a while I can occasionally do it on the left side, but once I hit the right side it starts failing to register because of lol non-silver controller d-pad. To anybody using Cervantes, it's a lot like doing EWGF. Just like doing F, N, DF+2, you can just roll it from D, DB+B. The command should look like the B is on top of the Back direction.

Any game with an anime storyline caters to the wrong kind of fanbase. Mainly kids who are still dumb and naive who prefer to live in fantasy rather than accept reality. The reality being that fighting games are all about competing with other people and improving their skills through said competition. You'll get ragged on for sure, but look past that and you realize it's a learning experience. Sometimes brutal honesty is the best solution.

That's the only thing I enjoy - looking at people's edits/costumes and fighting them with my own. Showin' everybody mah swag.

While I do enjoy the game, there just isn't enough replay value. Getting 1000/1000 is super easy, there's not much single player content, you have to grind pointlessly to unlock shit, and costume parts in CAS got nerfed horribly from 4. If you're a hardcore fan who loves good fighting game balance, I'd say get it. I enjoy the game, but once SFxT and Extend come out I probably won't be playing this that much in the long run.
