So how about those DLC announcer vids? Here's my two cents. Noel A: As I've said multiple times, she sounds like she's sucking on some man-sausages while drugged. Gems include "IRON TIGGER", "LITTLE ALCURD", and "DUMBDA UREBIN". Noel B: For Nu fans and those who are into the "KAWAII-DESU~" thing. Rachel A: Sounds drunk, but less drunk than Taokaka A. Gems include "PUCKMEN", "HADAOMA", and "VALKEHAYN OWL HELLTHING" Rachel B: Classy as hell. Litchi A: The most intelligible of the new announcers so far, IE the equivalent of Carl announcer. Closest thing to CT announcer, sounds almost exactly like her. Gems include "LEBER", "MAKOTO NANAYER", and "CHALLENGE QUEER". Litchi B: Now THIS is an announcer. The Japanese equivalent of CT announcer. Sounds sexier than Carl B.

This port already seems better than the XBLA release. The character voices are pitched correctly, and I'm betting they have all the crap that got cut from the XBLA release for whatever dumb reasons (Mission Mode, Intro Creator, etc.)

Takuma w/dildo mask now available on XBL Marketplace/PSN Store. EDIT: Wow. I just played him, and I have to be honest: I don't like Mr. Karate. He's basically a more rushdown version of Takuma, with combo gimmicks involving cancels with his SRKs and dash cancels with his invisible fireballs, which are now shorter range than in previous games. His Hien Shippu Kyaku is also only available in the air, and only the EX version can be TK'd with relative ease. He also gets the old Zanretsuken back, as well as the Shoran Kyaku. His idle stance is derpy as hell, and he feels extremely gimmicky. His NeoMAX does really shitty damage, but is more practical and has more range than regular Takuma's NeoMAX.

So now we basically have two Score Attacks. One that's casual and dumb and one that's even harder than previous Score Attacks where everyone is Unlimited and it's even dumber. Nice to know that Tager still wrecks the AI. Also, here's the list of Unlimited Mars opponents, in order. 1. Unlimited Taokaka 2. Unlimited Litchi 3. Unlimited Jin 4. Unlimited Hakumen 5. Nu-13 (Unlimited Lambda) - Fought at old Sheol Gate stage 6. Unlimited Rachel 7. Terumi (Unlimited Hazama) - Fought at Adventus instead of Kagutsuchi Port now 8. In any case, before this turns into Voice Actor General, I'll end this with one final thought: It's surprising to see how many unfamiliar voices we're getting nowadays (VAs who have done a couple of roles, dropped off the face of the earth, came back, that sort of thing). Some of the older VAs are starting to make small comebacks at a time. Back on topic: Can't wait for Phase Shift 2 when we get some more info behind the glorious, manly mask of Hakumen.

Oh, wow, you're right. I just went and checked the credits for Gankutsuou on Wikipedia and it says Beauchamp is credited as Erik Davies. On ANN, however, it's Jack Bauer. This means we've gotten Hazama's English VA wrong the whole time.

Yeah, Jack Bauer is just one of his aliases that he used while working on Geneon-related stuff. A lot of VAs did that. Jamieson Price (Tager) still does it occasionally with his Taylor Henry alias (as he did with Super SF4).

You know, that might be why they switched the VAs for a bunch of characters when CS2 came out.

Yeah in CS1 it was Kondou and in EX it is Yukana. The reason for this is probably because they added the Imperator during the final months or so of story drafting, and they were in a hurry so they just told Kondou to do some lines for her since she's the template of the Murakumo units, and she ended up sounding exactly like Mu. Now, they actually had time to flesh out the Imperator by giving her a new voice (Yukana), because obviously Saya is older now. Now she sounds like a more evil version of C.C., just like how her English VA is also C.C. (Kate Higgins, also does Torakaka).

The new cutscene for the true end and any cutscenes from Calamity Trigger Reconstruction are from Production IG. Every other cutscene is still GONZO quality. Confirmed on Kurushii's stream.

If you're trying to do pro stuff online, that's the problem. Online is so bad that you have to play it like Street Fighter 2. Try not using grapplers or melee characters unless they have tools to dodge fireballs.

If their connection was 2 bars or below, chances are it was a desync. Only Kaillera and earlier, unpatched versions of HD Remix do that shit aside from this game.

Geese will never be in another KOF except for possibly Dream Matches because, like Rugal, he's dead after '97 because that's when Real Bout happens and he dies for real. For all we really know Billy could really be taking orders from Kain, who at this point would currently be trying to make his debut in the criminal underworld.

Foxy is already in KOF13 though. She appears in Kula's winpose at random, the other being Diana of course.
