Unless you're talking about inbetween the hits of 6D (which I'm not even sure you can punish even with IB), then no, 5A will not punish 6D. 6D(2) is +2 on normal block, even if you IB she's only -3. 6D(1) - ItsuuD (the cancel) done as fast as possible is +1, so on IB it's -4. Both of those situations can not be 5A'd. You mean 5D staff set, not 2D.
  2. Ah, I must've overlooked that one. I'm sure you can combo off of it still, probably something like 3C set j.BC since it's likely that it launches them like Jin's 3C does now.

  6. Haha, no problem. And I can't really say I'm unhappy with the changes so far. Not being able to cancel in to Itsuu is obviously a blow in more ways then her combos, but it just means some options are less safe when too many of hers were safe. They're promoting staffless play from what I can tell, which is good for me in the way that I need to play staffless more anyways, I usually keep the staff unless I'm playing a matchup where I really need staffless.
  7. I don't see how it would become a problem now. Litchi's pressure will never be dependent on Itsuu (staff isn't supposed to be about all-out pressure anyways) as we still have other options. We don't need to lock Tager in blockstun to beat him.
  8. This is probably why you get flamed, because you don't know what you're talking about. We're talking about staffless j.C, not staff j.C. Oh and neither are even close to being overpowered. Was it broken in CT? Hell no. The damage she gets off a CH j.C is obscene, coupled with the fact that her rushdown is much stronger. It has nothing to do with the move itself (unless you want to get in to proration). And try to leave the sarcastic retorts/trolling out of the thread. Itsuu is not RCable and AFAIK I haven't seen any changes suggesting this. However, it may be possible to 5D/2D on block, possibly even 4/6 kote. On the other hand, would they even have to block the second hit? I know that the first hits don't exactly have a lot of blockstun, it might be possible to IB and retaliate/jump out much like an Arakune 2D, but that's just speculation as we have no real way to test this since Itsuu doesn't fully come out on block.
  9. It's not uncommon to see Sol's use 50% to wakeup DP and RC it. If it hits, go into SW loop.

  13. Gotta be faster! :P I'm really pleased for this reversion, I hope it sticks. I really like the way Litchi plays and her style and I feel that taking away j.C]m[ knockdown drastically changes her style (no corner oki and resets that we've been using since CT?). It was the only nerf I was really put off by when loketests first started and what I hoped to see reverted every new one. A dealbreaker I guess?

  15. On average. 2C is not an average combo starter against skilled players. It's 100 p1. That's a corner only combo and so far no strong midscreen combos have been discovered. Ippatsu A has positive proration in CS and in CSII the same-move proration has been removed. The combo is likely to do more off of 2C, however again, I'm not concerned over her damage at all.
  16. Apparently you missed the whole optimal starter and corner only part. I for one don't really care about less high damage opportunities but I'm pretty put off still with j.C]m[ nerf, since getting damage + oki is basically impossible now. At least from what I can theorize, maybe I'm missing something.
  17. From what I was told about his time at SB:R he was just trolling you (hoping you picked up on it I guess? He's not very obvious sometimes lol) and that he actually liked you and did not think you were a douchebag.

  19. I don't have problems with Axl, I'd say it's no worse than 6-4. Testament is pretty bad but I can't think of anything that would make the matchup easier without drastically changing HOS's style or just giving him a very out of place move. As for having an option for combos on everyone, IAD loop isn't exactly easy and it's a pretty specific range, so I think having something with those requirements would be perfectly acceptable. I just think HOS relies on charge a little too much for damage, especially since level 2 offers no more damage opportunities than level 1, sans BHB and silly SV corner combos.
  20. All I think HOS needs really is a better f.S. His current f.S is really horrible and has no real use that isn't covered by a different move. Give him old f.S back! GF? Do you mean gunblaze? There are so many ways to hide the D input that it's not even a problem. Fautless and then [D] works (can't do anything while fautlessing) and is very subtle. 214D~[D], backdash [D], 2[D], j.[D], Action charge [D]. It's really easy if you keep it in mind. And to be honest, I'm pretty happy with his character design. I think upping his charge gain just a little would help a lot in the long run. I also think he needs an option to get damage on characters who aren't tall + standing (IAD loop). It'd be nice if there was a chargeless + meterless option to get 130+ and meter on EVERYONE, not just half the cast.
  21. Yeah that's kind of why it's not actually in the game. What the hell, fullscreen in to combo? Slidehead into 60%? And you know what? I totally disagree on all these nerfs people want to give Potemkin. I honestly think he is the most over-hated character in the game. Make Heat Knuckle give him less meter (or just take away Gigantor loop period), and make Slidehead's active frames 1 instead of 3. Why does he get a bigger window to do the unblockable than you have to get out of it? That's all that really needs to get toned down.
