  1. Why can't you play her now? Especially considering she's hardly the 'flavor of the month'. Despite being top tier she's still one of the least played characters, from what I can see. She hasn't lost wall carry at all, considering she has full-screen carry combos.
  2. Both work. 5A won't work from far out, you need to be IN dat Also against Ragna, if they're doing 6DD without a good delay for j.D, you can crouch under j.D. This forces them to leave an opening in between 6DD on IB since they don't want to whiff j.D. I don't know if it's enough to 5A but it's enough to DP.
  3. I think a more ideal one for Pot is 2D BR RC airdash j.D xx SW. You carry him farther to the corner, and if you're in the corner you can combo him back across the screen with running j.D SW loops.
  4. hey man i met LK at EVO i'm good
  5. I can understand that aspect, because that isn't going to drastically change game-balance. Saying increasing the window ITSELF (changing an FRC from say 3 frames to 8 frames and NOT adding a buffer as earlier stated) can do or enable a lot of crazy things. FRCs are a really innovative and fun system, LK doesn't even play GG lol
  6. 100% irrelevant. Yeah, and? From the sound of it you're not playing with anybody skilled. You told me. They're needed at high-level.
  7. I wouldn't say extremely +frame normals at all. Generally most normals sit around around +0. Most F-Moons have +frame 5/2A but other than that their B and C attacks are generally around +0, if not negative. Despite not having access to reverse beating, they do have the unique ability to Initiative Heat in MAX mode (roman/rapid cancel) any EX cancelable move. This gives them a strong pressure/mixup option when they have the meter (for instance F-Miyako can IH 236B before it even hits, putting her in the air for a very quick overhead/potential crossup)
  8. I can already tell you now you're probably a below average at best HOS player. Specifically since every single one of his FRCs opens up a facet of his gameplay. The fact you don't think they're useful (ESPECIALLY in combos LOL) is pretty much a testament to your skill and knowledge with the character. Tie that in with the fact that you don't think larger FRC windows would drastically change gameplay, uses of certain moves and the strengths of certain moves is ridiculous. They're short and precise for a reason other than technical prowess, but I guess you can't wrap your brain around that.
  9. Haha, this discussion has happened plenty of times before and advocates for FRC windows being increased ALWAYS say "it wouldn't change anything!". Are you fucking kidding me? You seriously don't think that extra frames on certain FRCs wouldn't change anything? And you could care less because you play HOS, you think he doesn't need them? Stay free, quit playing with scrubs.
  10. stay free blade
  11. Try delaying Hatsu after Haku. If that doesn't work, try dashing forward when you do 6Kote or Haku (6623 or 2366 respectively). If both of those for some reason don't fix your problem, delay ItsuuA after 2C.
  12. Let's ignore the fact the game is (or was) far more popular.
  13. I'm pretty sure PS3 can do LAN. I do recall reading though that the netplay coding is actually terrible enough to affect the LAN aspect too though :/ Split-screen doesn't do the game justice, I really wish they would've considered patching the coding rather than moving on to AC5 which doesn't look very fun. Despite that Deville and I have played each-other split-screen on a few occasions and had some good fun
  14. I love ACFA. I'd play online but the netplay coding is super terrible and my internet sucks.
  15. No they won't, lol. The game has been out for years, and the PS3 and 360 aren't exactly brand spankin' new anymore.
  16. Kyou is a pretty strong player from what I've seen (he gave Hato and Leo trouble in qualifiers), the general idea is Kyou was just beating people up for Mao. EDIT: Update for the proposition of MBAACC getting a port...
  17. I think a good way to split the stream time would to just devote either a certain amount of matches before switching (say, 4 or 5?) to the next game. Like a rotation, I suppose. Or you could set aside a predetermined amount of time, say 20-30 minutes before switching. This may work better since sometimes matches might go by very fast (someone gets perfected, etc.) Someone should find out if anyone plans on streaming Super though, I wouldn't be surprised if a member from the community is already planning on doing so. MB getting streamed more than just top 4 for would be cool too.
  18. I don't think the age thing will be a problem seeing as how I can't imagine ALL of us having a problem signing as your guardian for the con. I wouldn't care, personally.
  19. For Ragna and Jin an obvious situation to use them in is frame traps. Doing something like 2A 2C with Ragna (Jin too, but not as effective since his 2C is slower) will hit mashers. Also when you bait a move and they're stuck in CH state (bait Jayoku, ID, Jin DPs etc.) Hakumen's 6C can really only be used in a small number of situations that I recall. For instance if you bait Arakune's beam super you can back up and full charge 6C for free.
  20. No idea, but the last official tier list I saw for the game had her in top 4.
  21. what uuuuuuuuupppp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAHvZTc-0SA&feature=PlayList&p=3AE6506603E84B75&index=0&playnext=1
  22. If they tech like idiots you can do 5S and tech trap again loooooool
  23. Baiken was definitely top.
  24. Depending on who you're playing and what air normals they're using it can be pretty effective. It's actually really good against Bang and Ragna, and you always have to time your anti-airs lol.
