Really hyped to try out Angelia and Eko. Didn't get to play AH2 but have watched many videos on AH3. Particularly of Angelia, Eko, and Weiss. Will probably play some Kamui and Konoha. Reminds me, is Konoha still a good rushdown character? She was my sub besides Kamui in AH1.

I play mostly as kamui and saki and didn't get a chance to play AH2 ported. Can someone give me a rundown on their stats since AH1? I've heard Kamui got nerfed pretty bad but Saki seems the sam or buffed. My friend plays as heart, Lilica, and Lisotte (?) primarily. Any difference for them as well?

Unfortunately as far as I know for the EC, there are unnoticable local tournaments and conventions. Then again thats Northern VA/Maryland. T_T

I've asked that before but got ignored apparently... also Hellmonkey is kind of our know-it-all I think. Also, the matchups have been pretty much covered I do believe. I guess making the sub-matchup forum would mean go through this thread and repost the data discussed. And not many would want to do that.

Its the basics that are easy. The inputs are universal. It's then learning combos into the specials or canceling specific moves at certain frames into a special that it becomes overwhelming. Its not a game where you can mash several buttons at once and land some lucky damaging combos. Your gonna pull off maybe a 55 dmg 6 string. And then the other more experienced player is gonna take out 30-50% lifebar. Not overwhelming whatsoever. Its also detrimental to the other persons pride because their gonna think "Oh, well, I suck at this game. I'm gonna go back to SF where I know how to do things." Which is why you have newbs play newbs. So they can all beat each other up without some sort of collateral damage in the process. GG:AC isn't that new (unless your playing Reload or Slash). WHERES ALL THE HYPE. I'll probably visit MD where all the big shot players are (for me) when I get the time and money during the summer. Trash talking is funny to read on a forum.

Now that you mention it, I do see a lot of cosplayers (be it GG cosplay or some FF cosplay or whatever) or something playing GG. The SFIV scene has at least normally dressed people. :/ No hype? Yeah... and we're not mean at all. We're just so desperare for players that we HAVE TO ACT nice to draw people in right? Actually we kinda are.

GG isn't going to be well recognized since people won't take the time to look at how indepth and complex the system is. I mean, what was it, gametrailers or something that did a review on fighting games. Guilty Gear came in at some number and they said complex combos and featured Baiken landing 3-hits. 3-hits=complex? WTF. I was pissed man. I talked to a friend of mine and we discussed the complexity of Street Fighter (his favorite) to mine (GG). GG is more complex in the long run because of the features that it has over SF. A) that turns people off since they apparently can't handle it/don't want to. B) GG isn't advertised in any damn way in America. I became a GG fan by sheer luck of seeing Isuka and thinking the art was badass. C) BlazBlue has more fans. :P

What are you on? I think he defense could use a lessening if his power is kept the same. Or something. :8/: FB slidehead. I like it. A bit of a blow to his arsenal but who cares.
