  3. some smart rachels will go sky high and use frog, remember if they use frog its a free sledge B...thats your way to gain ground...she will try to either get in on you or jump away...either way you can get a 5D in if you desire it, for me when i sledge B I can normally 5D her. and no you will not recover in time, she will fork you and make you look like dummy...dont J.2c her she knows tagers are stupid.

  5. haha, i fought a tager like this last night, good fight really i enjoyed that one.. anyways as a tager player i can help you.. ragna's are relentless bloodthirsty barbarians and he will do his best to keep you down, tips. ragna's will always stay away and poke your blind spots, he will either jump at you with a J.C from distance or if he knows your gonna 2D he's gonna J.D you..its nasty and its butthurt...in this fight be prepared to punish with 5A yes fucking 5A its a godsend for pressuring ragna, refrain from sledge hammers especially if ragna is in the air, you sledge him and you eat a hit that turns into a combo. thats just some basic tips...eh wheres mike Z he knows all...if im wrong on this guys then help me out...i got my methods as a ragna player but a tager solution is best. pressuring the beast. ragna's know your range, at least the smart ones...ragna's 5B can be B tager bustered, and your pokes like 5A and 5C can keep the guy off you and yet you score some fun busters in... sledge hammers wont be too important unless you got ragna in range and on the retreat, he wont dare try anything but J.to anything off this, and if he isnt prepared then after the first sledge then 2A him to keep pressure going, you can even 5C to Magnet for kicks... show him your magnetism! if you got the magnet on ragna then your good, you can stick him closer with J.D and other fun things but becareful though if you let him get too close and you wiff then he will touch you inapropriately and ragna touch is much much worst than anything else...ok V13 but lets not discuss, remember magnet is your best friend especially with a successful B sledge, it makes tager buster B connect for real soviet damage, just remember ragna will restrain from getting close to you or find a way to make pulling him in a punish, for example a wiff 5D gives ragna a free 5C so IMO i use J.D jumping back and so he rushes me then i just 720 him because alot of ragna's see a J.D as a free hit from medium range...of course you should know the distance. Air pokes=!. yes air pokes, oh god tagers B and C give ragna some difficulty in the air so keep that in mind, tagers elbow is great for punishing any ground poke from ragna and you can jump cancel from 6C into it for a fun combo, and you can almost always follow elbow with a 2B>2C>623C and shut him down, but dont rely on the air too much ragna's 6A will punish that and thats a easy 2000+ damage to you and your in range for ragna's asswhuppin progress. its too hot get off me! last thing you need is ragna doing mix ups on you and IMO you should refrain from burst unless you really cant do anything, barrier ragna's strings if he ends it with 5D then he can't do anything but dash cancel you or wait until its safe again, beware of his 6B and his gauntlet hades they are both overheads and they will do serious slayer damage to you. on your recovery you should either: A. B 360 him for real soviet damage, or B. get ready to block, a smart ragna wont let you grab then so he will jump, and although i'd say you can wake up colider him, its not guaranteed you will connect so just play it safe and block his J.whatever.. tip if you burst a ragna and your in the corner then he has you right where he wants you. Tagerciding! yes you have heat and you got your magnet gauge full, i don't know why but EVERY TAGER DOES THIS WHEN THEY HAVE THE MAGNET GAUGE FULL!!! they fire it when they see any forward movement, don't be tempted..instead wait for it...A sledge if you have to but get him closer to you...chances are if you make a move that looks like a mistake they will come for you...and the tager shot to B sledge at the right range smells like a 2A poke game to a 5C>5D game followed by a genesic if he blocks it, more fun for you...keep your spinny ready if you have the meter if ragna tries you in the air then you can bushwhack him and make him think twice... bittles. ragna has much less health than you and it only takes 2-3 good combo's to end it. tager can grab ragna from 5B and A sledge follow up...follow this with B sledge if you can he chances are can air tech and he cant do shit about the sledge...poke poke poke. tager shot is not a plaything its no need to blast it ASAP stay patient a opportunity will come. back dash last long like hang over...practice against ragna in practice mode and learn what moves to back dash punish. 2D is god as a tager you should learn which moves gives you the right to magnet spam..like when i play tager and my opponent is in the corner, i 5D>236B>5C>623C>step forward 6C it works on many people...i gave you an example so go for pro. well this is it...although i'm not the most solid in this match up i gave you a view of how i see things...lets hope someone has better solutions because i suck.
  6. watch her meter tao's never RC, they will pounce you if you leave yourself open, try to keep some distance from tao if your not attacking and for god sakes if she is gonna get behind you then block and prepare for a throw, if they can't 2A you then they will throw you. for her pounce, if you got reaction and range then ID her, if not then pray she wont combo you after.

  8. just block the whole string, she will always end the string with something you can DP. thats why i don't take noel's seriously, some are just shit scared of ragna.
  9. oh god don't remind me...so stupid and unfair yet genius...accept it happened to me when i was ragna. for tager i wait for him, most people are not as patient as me, but how do i deal with his jump pokes? i just can't think of anything to do to him.

  11. well if you got balls then you roll forward, since you have to ID her, the stickman will follow you no matter where you go.
  12. rolling ID is probably your best bet even on block if you got the heat you can cancel and block if you do it on hit...actually i fought a litchi who did that, she dp and stick me, so i just ID and slowed down on the follow ups and made the whole move wiff...roll ID is like the only safe way outside of barrier i guess.
  13. several ragna including myself has fell to baits and j.c..its like a fun treat, but now i know dont go in the air unless its for escaping or comboing...i think i'll take this...time to learn ground combo's.
  14. chances are pretty high if your rushing down litchi she will dp the fuck out of you, i fought so many litchi in 1 day and learned, run in/jump in=dp. you get hit with dp then your pretty fucked...combo into corner combo pumpage...bait the dp i don't care if you run jump and air dash back, or barrier block...bait that shit, if they cant hit you with dp they cant easy combo you. about the nonsense of stick jutsu, if your dealing with the flying pole then jump it/go under it, charge in and id he bitch, i avoided her supers by with dp and anger. now for stickman combo thats tough, it honestly depends on where you fell to get out...sometimes i think its better to lay on the ground or wait until its over you and recover id..but you know what? i really don't know.
  15. if she gets behind you, and you got good reflexes you can 5B her...its a low attack, and chances are it will either beat or trade with 2A...thats what i do against that tao..then again a early J.D when she tries her drive gets a magnet...after that its history.
  16. god if your gonna rush haku in the air watch out for his 6A, it looks like it wont hit, but in contrast it eats ragna's pokes and sets you up like a jackass, so many times in a fight have i fallen for his 6A. gayness ensues. keep a good count on how many stars he has, 6 or more and it can be 4xxx+ on your ass easy. learn your highs and low pokes, practice it, throw out fast moves to beat counter, from what i see most haku's counters B's, C's, and D's, A's are too fast so stick A's on them a bit...too many ass whuppins from pro haku's showed me that.

  23. if they block sledge i use 2A, most people dont hit me on it..i fought a guy who would random colider after his strings. cant spell bzzt.
  24. hmm i got a question as a fellow tager player. after nailing a 5D on a opponent hit or miss i follow up with a B sledge, now the question is whats the best follow up for a blocked B sledge? should i block? 2A? 5A? tager molest them?
  25. well last night, i got my ass kicked, hard by bangs left and right. anyways i need some advice on several things. 1. how do you avoid the j.c combo starters, it seems all the bangs i fight jump and j.c. 2. when is a good time to start my advance? it seems i couldnt get shit started on these ninja's! 3. is it a way to bait his stars out? i've been having trouble once he gets close and boy is it annoying. 4. when he does his DD, the one that the awesome music plays, and everything he do is a dash, how should i fight it?
