In other news, I'm applying for my passport soon. Should get it before NEC hopefully. -

Damn, looks like MTL is dodging tomorrow. Ah well, there's others stuff I could get done in the meantime. My Valk unveil can wait. Also, Pedro, in the event we do meet, don't forget you have my controller! I'll charge 10% monthly interest if you do. -
All I can say is good stuff, Leo! I think Shuu's got a nice wild factor and his movement's pretty good (from what I can tell... I'm not that good yet. ). By the way, how do you do that full-screen jump? From wolf I just do 9c -> j.D, but from vids it seems they're using a faster version or something. 9c takes some time to activate and I don't notice it in vids.

Come out and support the HQ guys! We don't have much time left to enjoy the place, so we might as well make the most of it. :D ----- Also, happy Dominion Day Canada Day guys! I raise my Bacardi Gold rum & coke (more Bacardi than coke, I fear. :D) in toast to a fine community. :] -
Thanks for the info, guys! I'll keep watching Hima and look up the other Valks too. I'm still trying to come to grips with how fast Valk can be sometimes. It's hard to track him on-screen and reacting appropriately.
-
I'm looking to improve my Wolf movement substantially. As a former Hakumen player I'm way too used to hoping around and airdashing instead of getting in the habit of using Wolf for movement and approach. Aside from going gay for Hima, what should I look at?

Aw, hell yeah. Just signed up for motorcycle riding classes. Gonna get my license before the year's out, hopefully. :D !!!!! Mine's the 26th, lol. ----- I should show up on Sunday and show off my Valk. I should do ok with him, though I'm still not consistent on even his most basic of bnb. ----- Between T12 and Summer Jam, T12 would be my pick for the simple reason that I doubt I'd have my passport by then. ----- Damn, I forgot about Otakuthon this year! Signing up asap. ----- Hope I'm not missing anything else. You guys post a ton. ._. -

Ara in low B? I call BS. :P I can't really comment on the rest since I haven't put in that much time in CS2, but it looks good. I like seeing my main high on the list for once. :] And lol at me being the new Freest. Going to have to change my username to Sophistifree if that's the case. xD -

Same here, thouugh I'll be going Sunday. I have 4 days off starting Friday, so Sunday is cool for me. Gonna show off my shitty Valk and get properly blown up. :D Anyway, peace out. Work, work, work. -

Goddamn Platinum is a bitch ass crack ho. I'm going to have to work overtime to catch on CS2 I think. :< @Pedro: yeah, you can't diss netplay for the matchup exp. Offline is definitely the better experience, but online is great for general exp. -
You might want to consider switching 2c to 5b or even 5a to make it easier. It's what I've done and never looked back to 2c simply because 5a/b are more consistent and that counts more to me than the damage off 2c.
-
Ported over from the vid thread: I believe Haz might just be Haku's worst matchup in CS2. Whenever I fought a Haz, it was very much an uphill battle. I don't know what changed (I think his chains got sped up), but I believe it's now an uglier matchup than it was in CS1. Dare I say worse than playing Ara?

Damn, sounds like you guys had a good time. Don't feel too bad about SKD beating you guys, I know for a fact that this guy's a prodigy or something. Anyway, NEC... sounds good, actually. It's in December so Uni should be out and there's free time there. It's also far enough that I don't have any excuse to not know my Valk shit by then. Count me in for that one (so long as I can get my passport... >_>). Also surprised to see Raiza/Hellknight so high placed. I thought these guys were pure online warriors, but they show it can be otherwise. Guess I'll have to attend meetings now to build up my play again. Hype! -

LOL. Epic cockblock. Still, what happened to commitment? You do have a GF. I mean, yeah, we're guys, but that's not an excuse. Eb, It's what I'm doing right now. According to my bank statements, I'm pretty content (for a student... >_>). Women suck the money (i.e. life!) right out of you. -

Lol, nice to hear the MTL repping. Maybe we'll get those guys to come here for a tourney someday. I DRINK YOUR TEARS I DRINK THEM ALL UP (Haku will always be in my heart, though. Might switch back to him in a couple months or once BB3 comes out or something. CS2 version... eh. Something just doesn't click) Probably Foonzo? Anyway, you've got time for the HQ. The last day's meet is something like the 14-15th. Every day counts if you're looking to get in some play time there, though. -

Good luck to those going to ECT! Bring back some monies and show that MTL power. :] ----- Finally put in some time in BB after 3 weeks and I think I'll be switching to Valk. He doesn't seem to need the kind of switch with which I'm having trouble with Haku. -

Liar Game. <3 <3 <3 <3 I love mind-game stuff like that so it was right up my alley. Wordy, but that didn't bother me. I haven't kept up with it, though. I'm probably behind by a full year at least. Same with Cannon God, the author just knows how to make an awesome story. I should read Gunsmith Cats, though. I never did get around to it (if it's worth it). It's nice to see that MTL's finest knows how to appreciate fine entertainment. :3 -

Akumetsu was awesome. I thought the whole ideology setup was hella lame at first, but I'm not one to put down something interesting and it turned into an absolutely awesome manga. I rec this one highly. Gantz, too. Great graphics, very strong writing, Lara Croft nice fanservice, and very tense pacing. ----- @Toronto tourney: Lol, I'd be throwing my money away. I ain't touched BB since MAT8. Also, isn't there the HQ party on the 15th? Very likely gonna have to bow out, unfortunately. :\ T12 might be a yes, though. Assuming I get back in shape... If ever. -

Man, so many posts. I can't keep up anymore. D: Anyway, Mango > Animu. Berserk ftw. Also, Ghost in the Shell for the Cyberpunk win. FLCL and DM City are awesome. Haters gonna hate. My manly mango/animu recommendations on top of the above: - Sanctuary - Crying Freeman - Hellsing - Akumetsu - Jojo's BA - Eatman - Battle Angel Alita - Blade of the immortal - Vinland saga - Vagabond - Mahou Sensei Negima! - High School of the Dead - Gantz - Akira - Basilisk - Appleseed - Battle Royale - Blame! + Biomega - Cannon God Exaxxion - Great Teacher Onizuka - Kurozuka - **** Lone Wolf and Cub **** - Rurouni Kenshin - Slam Dunk - Samurai Deeper Kyo - Busou Renkin (<3 Captain Bravo)* ... I'm very lax with my power levels today... Bold denotes exceptional manliness, with stars for emphasis. All should be good reads/watches, though. ----- And yeah, no sausage fest in pools. Hot Tubs + girls = awesome, though. :3 -

3m to 5am. Am I doing it right? Damn, it does indeed turn out Glyde doesn't ship to Canada. Not too bad, they seem to be growing quickly so Canada might be added soon. Hell yeah martinis. I'm down for some martinis. :3 @Unsanc: You keep dodging. -

Hey guys, I just found a pretty neat website called Glyde where you can easily buy and sell games. It's cool to use if you want to manage your VG collection and maybe assess its market value. I also sent a link to everyone's Facebook for good measure. :D Won't be going to HQ today. My bro has the car since he's off on vacation for the weekend and there's other stuff I need to get done anyway. Maybe next weekend. D: -

I figured it would be the bubble, but it doesn't change at all even with cookie/cache clear. Just stays at dark blue. I'm assuming I'm supposed to see it turn white? I'm using Safari if that means anything.
