If you split the $ just for the game, it comes out to roughly $41... though one guy pays extra for yen he may or may not need. Otherwise it's a flat $60 each, which effectively prices me out. I don't want to double dip twice for full price.

We'll see what the price is like split between X number of people first before deciding anything since DerQ said no DLC beyond 2 people. On my end, getting JP ver. would just be to keep up with the Johnsons so my Haku doesn't suffer. This means I want the lowest possible price as I'll be getting the NA ver. down the line. I don't care about DLC on the JP ver., but I will for the NA. So I'm in it for the lowest price here. If you guys want DLC, I'll let you have the spot and see if someone else is willing to get JP w/no DLC.

Don't be afraid to branch out to other chars if Haku doesn't do it for you. We have 7 brand new chars (!) to play with and everyone else got at least something. Haku may have the hype OD combos in CP, but I also think he gave up a lot of his flexibility in EX. He's a mixed bag; you either love him or hate him.

It was whiffing point-blank in the guy's face. Like, standard Hop -> Hotaru to punish reckless offence just straight-up whiffed. Was playing vs. Terumi so maybe his hitbox had something to do with it. Should clarify it did CH once as I recall, so it can work. Otherwise didn't do squat.

Got to try out new Haku for a bit. He's cool. - Totally forgot about Agito, so didn't get to use it. Ahhhhhh!!! - His dash is indeed wayyyyy faster... but it also seems shorter? It's not as big of an advantage as you'd think. - Fuck you, Hotaru nerf. Fuck you. Hop -> Hotaru frickin' whiffs! - 4c feint has me all :3c - OD is some clutch shit. Random CH -> OD will net you wins, guaranteed. - Combo routes are very different. Lots of the old combos are all gone. Going to have to re-learn this guy. - Star gain buff actually wasn't that noticeable. It DOES still gain faster. I found myself with 8 stars a couple times without expecting it. More another time after I play him moar... EDIT: - Yukikaze in OD is THE SHIZZLE. Does 4.1k dmg as I recall, too.

CP is actually pretty cool. It's pretty evident Arc's put a lot of effort into polishing this release. I might get it once it hits the NA market after all... Hype evening, though. Good matches to those I played, especially Bearblaster. Kirby, I eagerly await your revenge match. It's going to be sweet to watch. :D Might come over on Sunday if there's something.

Yes, they are higher, but not by that much as I recall. The good thing about it though, is that it covers more or less everything. And go with Discount. They're def. the best for cost. Just be sure you have extra credit on your credit card because they require a deposit.

They'll likely eventually get every GGXXAC character into Xrd. It's just a question of when. Leaving out a particular character just alienates that customer base.

I'm pretty hype for this game. Should hopefully be popular with more than just the hardcore GG crowd as it is now. Now we just need Slayer to show up and they have my pre-order.

What's struck me most so far are the improvements to Slayer's mixups. I've found the following changes to be really cool for his mixup game: 5k special cancel for easier execution 6H special/jump cancels are just awesome S dandy is 2f faster H dandy 2H staggers on hit Might as well also mention Bite FRC and FB Dandy, but I haven't used these much yet. So anyway, you can now do stuff like crank the guard bar with 6H, then go into dandy or IAD in. Or stagger with 2H -> Mappa feint -> mixup or just IAD. I even find crossup Pile from S dandy to be legit (if it wasn't before). Even H dandy is useful once in a while because of its huge range. It's good as an occasional escape tool and can catch some trying to run away. Now, I'm not the best Slayer here, but my impression is that his general mixup game hasn't changed much. I just think his mixup options have been really enhanced by the above changes, especially in the corner. All I can say here is that I'm loving these changes so far! They're fantastic buffs that more than make up for the loss of his dmg output, imo.

We toured the Maritimes, with Cabot Trail in mind. That pic was taken on the Cabot Trail from a lookout on the road, a bit south from our campsite at the Bay St-Lawrence area. The mountain range there is part of the Aspy fault, which is utterly awesome to ride through. You probably have some of the best twisty roads in all of Canada up there, part of why it's nicknamed the Holy Grail for motorcyclists. Nice sheer cliffs high up on both sides of the road, too. :D
